The Karens have gone from reporting him to their local officials to...apparently the town has a DEI office. I'll be interested to see how this plays out because being able to say negative things about a group, like Muslims here, is the core of free speech.

100 37 A few hours ago Trump ordered the USS Spruance to open fire on a Chinese cargo ship headed for Iran which refused to stop for the blockade. It’ll be damned interesting to see what cargo they were hauling - I’ll bet it wasn’t condensed milk.

Today, an Iranian-flagged cargo ship named TOUSKA, nearly 900 feet long and weighing almost as much as an aircraft carrier, tried to get past our Naval Blockade, and it did not go well for them.

The U.S. Navy Guided Missile Destroyer USS SPRUANCE intercepted the TOUSKA in the Gulf of Oman, and gave them fair warning to stop. The Iranian crew refused to listen, so our Navy ship stopped them right in their tracks by blowing a hole in the engineroom.

Right now, U.S. Marines have custody of the vessel. The TOUSKA is under U.S. Treasury Sanctions because of their prior history of illegal activity. We have full custody

BIL comes out of the house to go run an errand, but saw the mounds and walked over to them. He was wearing shorts and sandals. He proceeded to kick both mounds down to the ground.

You may think so! But I am down to 2 finalists in the sink for the half bath, I need to decide on laundry room wall paper, and I am still really wanting teak in the master bath. That's definitely a thousand-liter tote. It's a very standard size. A thousand liters is one cubic meter - a cube one meter on each side. Compared to the size of the car, that fits. A thousand liters is about 265 gallons.

Been doing some "engineering" today - since I will be traveling semi-solo a couple of times over the next month, I need to be able to get me, my scooter, and my luggage from Point A to Point B by myself.

Mr. TiFW and I have been looking at bungee cords and luggage straps and various and sundry things to make my job easier and keep my luggage attached to the back of my scooter without all of the pieces wildly careening around, striking unsuspecting airport/hotel patrons.

This system must also be easy to set up and take down without executing the 5 basic ballet moves, because - again - I will be on my own. I have a bunch of different pieces being delivered to Chez TiFW over the next couple of days - I will figure this out and have fun doing it!

I told Mr. TiFW that I can't believe that no one has come up with a solution for this problem by now - my scooter is "freedom" for me, but I always feel so bad for Mr. TiFW when he has to schlep his bags and mine and Rebecca's when we travel.

Don't know if that would work, but it would be fun. You have one single goal when removing an ant hill. KILL THE QUEEN. That a "game over".

Best way is to use an insecticide (but leave the ant hill alone for a full day or they will split the colony). Then, once the insecticide is down the hatch...wait a little while and then pour a couple gallons of boiling water down the main shoot. It will go right to a lethargic queen...and you're good.

Rationale for using liquid nitrogen is it's fairly cheap, non-toxic to humans and pets, and non-persistent. I expect it ought to freeze many of the bastards solid; not sure if that would kill them, though, and also might suffocate them. Again, not sure how long they need to be deprived of oxygen for a certain kill.

And on another note, I just wanted to give another plug to the "Sight and Sound" production of " A Great Awakening movie ." Of course I learned about George Whitfield in church history class, but this movie really made him come alive for me. This is a background video with the actors talking their roles. What I liked about t it is that they both are so refreshing and down to earth and really rather humble. It doesn't sound much like Many Hollywood actors, does it.? I don't know about the actor who plays Benjamin Franklin, but I'm guessing he wouldn't be working with them for years on their stage shows for Sight and Sound if his faith wasn't important to him. Jonathan Blair who plays Whitefield is quite forthright about his faith.

Anyway, it's a non woke movie and it's really a guy friend film, since the only woman in it is Whitefield's mother . Eight minute video. Although maybe it's better if you've already seen the movie.

I probably should have specified that I am doing this project to get all of my stuff through airports and hotels by myself without taking out any passengers or patrons who may be unlucky enough to be in my blind spots. Part of the problem is that any "system" has to be flexible, but semi-"rigid" in order to keep everything attached and in a straight line behind the scooter.

I am sure that I must have looked quite the sight this afternoon riding my scooter down the street, trailing luggage behind me 😂😂😂 It is the only way to figure out what works and what doesn't, though! Theory is all well and good, but everyone knows that a good idea can fall apart when testing starts...

Last year, ants messed up the fuse box in my car and damaged our well. If left unchecked, they would have gotten into HVAC , also. We spent $$$$ to have them treated. Will do the same this year. I want them dead.

Well I had a real sonofabitchin' cocksucker of a week.

A whole lot of crap at work. My daughter was sick, my stepson was a pain in the ass, and my wife was overworked too, so it all sucked. But I was feeling better after a day and a half of gardening, and as I was putting down my pepper patch, she calls me in tears.

Someone broke into her car while she was in church, of all places. So we had to talk to cops for awhile, and then I had to go make a big, ugly scene in the courtyard of the rathole apartments across from her church once they left.

But I can say this - no matter how much it might suck, at least I'm not a 53 year old man with undescended testicles, in a Democrat GOTV choir singing a desultory parody of "Golden" by Huntr/x.

I guess some guys are just like "well I'm going to Hell no matter what, so I might as well start getting acclimated. "

That's a lovely wagon, but it would just be one more piece of luggage that I would have to check at the airport. Then there is the problem of loading the scooter (which collapses), my luggage, me, and then the collapsed wagon into either an Uber or a shuttle, and then reversing all of that when I get to the hotel and try to get everything into the room!

Bungee cords and luggage straps can be taken on and off with relative speed and ease, and packed into a carry-on bag with the scooter batteries at the gate. What I am working out now is how to get everything bundled together (if possible). I may end up with something resembling a spider when all is said and done! 😂

The nice thing is that we found some "flat" bungee cords that look nice, and the hooks fit perfectly onto the frame of the scooter. Like I said, it's currently a work in progress; I hope to have all of the kinks worked out before we hit NYC next month.

"Russian forces advanced at a rate of 14.9 square kilometers a day from October 2024 to March 2025, compared with 10.7 square kilometers a day from March 1, 2025, to October 1 and 5.5 square kilometers a day in the first three months of 2026.

Ukraine began attacking Russia’s two oil export terminals on the Baltic Sea to deny Russian efforts to benefit from increasing oil income. Oil companies warned buyers they could declare force majeure on supply contracts from major Baltic Sea ports. Oil export facilities at the Baltic’s Ust-Luga and Primorsk account for about 60 percent of Russia’s oil export capacity. The closure of one will significantly restrict Russia’s ability to generate income for its war in Ukraine.

So far Russia lost 40 to 43 percent of its oil export capacity and oil exports had fallen from four million to 2.32 million barrels per day. These operations have also reduced the domestic oil supply. And they have been attacking munitions factories to the point that Russian missile production is down 45 percent.

37 A few hours ago Trump ordered the USS Spruance to open fire on a Chinese cargo ship headed for Iran which refused to stop for the blockade. The Spruance contacted the Chinese ship and told them to evacuate their engineering section; then sent several 5” shells through their engine compartment. Then they boarded her.

It’ll be damned interesting to see what cargo they were hauling - I’ll bet it wasn’t condensed milk.
Goes without saying that both the Iranians and the Chinese are pissed the hell off.

My wife and several of the cats have managed to do this trick to me.
A friend once complained that his cat would "make biscuits" on his side at night until he rolled over, and then would occupy the warm spot, until it cooled off, and then repeated the trick until he fell off the bed.

I like cats.
