My friend's cat would do that. It would walk up and press her head into your leg and then do the rub. If you didn't pet her she would keep head butting your leg. His other cats couldn't give a shit, you rarely saw them, but she was different. She was a fat cat. Her nickname was sandbag. lol

69 I knew that putting away the extension cord that runs to the horse trough for the tank heater last Saturday would increase the odds of snow and freezing temps. I did it anyway. We won't get any snow accumulation, hopefully will get a bit of moisture into the soil, but its supposed to be 24F tomorrow night. Note that the Pope is deliberately attempting to deceive there. Firstly, the "woe to" does appear elsewhere in the Gospel but the rest of the phrase does not, but a careless listener might assume that whole paragraph to be quoting Christ.

Secondly, the listener might reasonably assume in context that the Pope is claiming that *someone*, likely the President, is guilty of the rest of the statement, when there's no case at all to be made that he is.

The Pope's islamic buddies are of course all over that sort of thing.

I'm living the opposite. My AC has been running for a few days now. You never see high 80's/90 in jersey in march. Usually the AC don't come on steady until later may. Its going back down to the 40's-50's here next week, thank god. I got shit to do outside. This week was hot.

I had it towed, and it might be bad filters and bad gas, and it might be a bad alternator, or it could just be the poor thing is possessed.
Being possessed would explain why the windshield wipers stop working when it rains and the automatic windows roll down a half inch, sometimes, when I put it in reverse.

Should be in the garden by the end of next week, just digging, not planting. Greenhouse will start up in a couple of weeks. Planting outside will start mid-May.

122 We're in SLC this evening. Ran into a snow squall right at the edge of town. The rest of the drive was nice. We went through Jackpot NV to I 80. A bit of truck traffic but i's so flat that they were never an issue. 84 through SE Idaho sucks due the hills and curves.

DH bought studded tires last fall, and got rid of his summer tires, because they were shot. Now we have to purchase more summer tires, and it ain't cheap for that beast of a truck. I don't have studs on my car tires. Don't really need them. But it is nice to have the studs on the truck if it gets particularly icy.

They're tires for people who drive where there is both snow and hills.

Minnesotans don't usually bother; it's flat enough that normal tires work. If they don't, you'll need a plow blade on the front of your vehicle, too.

And if we didn't drive in snow, we'd have to winterize our cars and not use them six months of the year.
