Here We Go Again: Latest Leftwing Pope Attacks Trump for Sealing the Border, Attacking Islamic Occupation Forces in Iran

As many have pointed out, this brave moral voice kept absolutely stumm when Iran was killing 30-45,000 of its own people. But now he finds his voice.

And weirdly, he speaks with a vague Italian/Spanish accent, despite being an American citizen.

Is he one of those weak men who put on the accent of whatever city or country they're currently standing in?

Trump sure thinks he's weak:

popeisweak.jpg

So the pope is a politician, and most of his constituents are, of course, Latin Americans who view immigration to America as their God-given right. Gee I wonder where they get that idea from.

Not to mention: Democrat-affiliated NGOs have poured hundreds of millions of American taxpayer dollars into Catholic "charities" which "resettle" immigrants in America.

And of course he's also attempting some kind of alliance with... Islam. He just mandated, for the first time in the Church's history, a special room set aside for Muslim prayer in the Vatican.

Cynical Publius
@CynicalPublius

Well it looks like the Pope’s interference in American politics is still top of the news cycle, so I want to repeat something.

The Democrat/Media Complex deliberately set this up so faithful Catholics would be forced to choose: Trump or your faith?

That’s a false dichotomy. The Pope is speaking on politics, offering his opinion only and he is not speaking ex cathedra.

You are not obligated to agree with the Pope in these matters where he speaks as an ordinary human.

If you are a Catholic, you can still support Trump, and disagree with what the Pope is saying about the Iran War and American politics, and still remain true to your Catholic faith.

Please do not fall for the either/or con job.

The pope was anti-Trump before becoming pope -- and then covered that up.

theleftwingpope.jpg

Tom Homan invites the pope to stuff it up his mitre.

"I'm not gonna speak for the president. I'm speaking for myself, a lifelong Catholic," Homan said. "I wish they'd stay out of immigration because they don't know what they're talking about. Because if they wore my shoes for forty years and talked to a nine-year-old girl that got raped multiple times, or stood in the back of a tractor-trailer, with nineteen dead aliens at my feet, including a five-year-old boy that baked to death. If they understood the atrocities that happen on an open border, I think their opinion would change."

No amount of Vatican commentary changes what Homan saw with his own eyes.

"And I welcome a discussion with any of them, because they don't understand illegal immigration is not a victimless crime. Where President Trump had the most secure border in the lifetime of this nation, right now, lives are being saved. He's saving thousands of lives a year because he has a secure border," Homan explained. "Human traffickers are out of business, right? The cartels are going bankrupt because of that secure border. I wish they'd understand that. Because if they did, I think they'd have a different opinion."

This is the argument the church -- and frankly most of the media -- never wants to sit with. Secure borders don't just protect American citizens. They protect migrants from the predators who exploit open-border chaos for profit. Letting that happen would be inhumane, which is why the Trump administration is putting an end to illegal immigration.

Video: "I wish the pope would stay out of politics and focus on fixing the church."

By the way, Gay Mexican Nazi Nick Fuentes declared Trump to be the "anti-Christ" so that is now all three of the Nazi podcasters (Tuq'r, Cavernous, Gay Mexican Nazi) who have stated that Trump is "satanic" or the "anti-Christ" in the past week.

As the meme puts it: Know the op when you see it.

2. Vance and Rubio are both Catholic and the presumptive next GOP nominees, so the globalist left, of which the faction controlling the Vatican seems to be a part of, needs to get the wedge in early to stop Catholics from voting conservative.

3. 70% of the RCC membership is now in third world countries, so the pro open borders pandering won't stop.

4. Roe never would have been overturned without Trump but it seems open borders are more important than stopping abortion.

45 This post is perfection.

I want Homan to be Pope.

As a new Catholic I honestly don't think anyone who voted for Trump regrets their vote. I don't and never will. No one has mentioned squat about the pope in the past six months that I talk to. No worries.

Not worried about the mid-terms, mostly because things will happen even if I did worry. Therefore I won't and never do unless I can control it.

Granted, now President Trump needs to ignore Leo. Let little Leo boil into a tantrum and fling his miter and other gear.

The still photo of the cardinals makes me laugh a bit. Constipated and horny and mean looking slobs. If I had to give them confession I'd probably make up stuff to see what they'd do (I look the priest in the eye).

I figure my accent is unique and I'd be figured out anyway, so why not go in with my list since age 12yrs and tell it all (most of it or I would have been there all day). And I'm Pretti Good all in all, considering the weirdos out there today influencing. I used to be a good girl til I started posting here.

No.

There are specific rulings that come up every 300 years or so that define what being Catholic is and if you don't buy them, you are out. Last one was in 1860s.

Besides that you can decide if what he's saying is relevant or not. Open borders is obviously not a religious question and never has been. He has security for himself, of course.

This where the "Ex Cathedra" comes from. Translated as "From the Chair" and is to be taken as infallible. It hasn't been invoked since like 1950.

So, anything the popes says outside of that is their personal belief/opinion.

Its not hard. Communism is a heresy. Its politics treated as religion. It gets criticized by The Popes for a long time because it denies God and replaces him with the State. Its not the difference between representative democracy vs a parliamentary system. Catholic and orthodox Christian theology rightly criticizes Communism as evil. Because it is. Plenty of critique for unrestrained capitalism also. It capitalism is an effective way to create wealth and increase resources. BUt is must be fairly regulated and the Church MUST exist to assist those who are left behind or can't compete. This is fundamental. You must give to the poor. Almsgiving is not negotiable.

Where I do think there is an issue, however, is the reaction that this isn’t doctrine, and many Catholics aren’t happy with the Pope, so we should just ignore him. The problem with that is the Church should hear this criticism- and the effect it has. People who may have been interested in the Church are turned off. People like me who were raised Catholic and left / didn’t come back to the Church in large part because of the last Pope. This Pope reinforces I made the right choice for me. When I have fellow wayward Catholics express their discomfort with the Church, I invite them to come with me to the church home I found. Again, I will NEVER criticize someone’s faith, I will always correct when people say something untrue about the Catholic Church. But I will also say I have never been more at peace with my faith than I am right now.

87 Right or wrong, it profits Trump nothing to pick a fight with the Pope.

Leo said the same type of anti-war stuff that his predecessors
have been saying sure m for decades. Trump's predecessors were savvy enough to smile and nod, then go about their business. But not Trump. He can't let a criticism go; he always responds like a gangsta rapper who just got dissed.

You don't want to hear this, but conservative/traditional Catholics are pretty fond of Leo. They don't always agree with him, but the first year of his papacy has been refreshing after a decade-plus of what at times felt like mistreatment from Francis. So they're inclined to stick up for him if they think an attackn is unfair or unnecessary.

Think of it this way: you don't always agree with your wife, you can even get in big fights with her. But you'll never ever let someone else talk shit about her. That's where conservative Catholics are with Leo. I've been in traditional Catholic online spaces for a long time and I've never seen the uniformity around defending the Pope that I've seen this week.

Truck needs to fix this. He must find humility that he probably doesn't have. Because he's going to need Caolic votes.

98 TJM, answered you in previous thread. FWIW, the one most like a trust fund baby was Dan Rostenkowski but a good quarter of them were already deep in arrears to the House Bank. They also used their campaign funds openly as piggy banks for all kinds of deviance. Coke and booze were probably the biggest issue for the swinging set, those that were financial grifters used their campaign funds or overdrafts at the House bank. Senators were more refined in their debauchery and you get the Keating Five as an example of that.

That House Banking scandal would not break until the 90's.

an accent is learned muscle memory. How the R and L is pronounced in various parts of the world, as opposed to the US and Asia is quite different, and quite diagnostic to origins as well. The vowels as well, since English pronounces them "funny" as opposed to most Indo-European languages. In Spanish there are certain sounds that never appear together, and some that don't appear at all. Spanish is phonetically and linguistically very similar to Italian.

In short, he is trying, according to his characteristic modus operandi, to turn President Trump into an adversary in order to undermine his support from Catholic voters. American Catholics, however, have seen through the fraud! …

What has been emerging in the United States since President Trump’s inauguration is only the tip of the iceberg of a vast subversive system that involves all Western states.

These are not isolated cases of corruption, but a planned occupation that the globalist Left considers indispensable in order to gain power and, once it has appropriated that power, use it for the establishment of a totalitarian regime. The Deep Church uses the offerings of the faithful to spread heresies, normalize vice and perversion, Islamize Christian nations, desecrate our churches and altars, and ...

The economic dependence of the institution is made possible by the corruption and blackmail of its leaders, because if the Catholic Church were governed by good, incorruptible, and non-blackmailable pastors, they would never accept her enslavement to the interests of a power that is openly enemy of Christ, nor would they allow themselves to be bought out of thirst for money or career ambitions.

The first undeniable reality, however terrible and shocking, is the complicity of the Bergoglian Church with the criminal system organized by the globalist elite: we must take note that the betrayal of the rulers toward their fellow citizens is mirrored by the betrayal of the pastors toward their flock. This places the entire ruling class, that is subservient to the globalist elite, in a condition of illegitimacy – I would even say of high treason – to which justice must be done.”

See Harry losing just a bit of his accent (well, actually he is picking up our accent). J has a VERY heavy southern drawl. He also speaks fluent Italian and has lived in Italy off and on his entire life. It takes exactly 2 days in Italy and he has an Italian accent, he also rarely speaks English there. I wouldn't go that far, though having a Latin mass for those who want it is fine. I always liked the Greek and Latin prayers. But I don't think Vatican II was totally wrong for wanting what was going on in the mass to be understandable to the parishioners as a whole.

238 You don't want to hear this, but conservative/traditional Catholics are pretty fond of Leo. I'm not seeing that - there was concern he was another Francis, and it would appear that Trump has sent him over the edge. Trump was foolish to post the meme he did. But this was a fight Leo picked. There is no great love for Leo in the thriving growing dioceses in the US. And people are going to start mining Leo's prior social media (some shown here) and these will not age well.

Trump has stepped in it, and needs to stop, but Leo has acted poorly as well. I'm a converted Catholic. Leo increasingly does not speak for me on matters of much of anything. He is just another slick Chicago machine politician who is a priest.

If the modern person was a priest from African, who attended a solid seminary, he will be fluent in latin. Otherwise it is overlap. Even if you speak English or Spanish or French, you may run into a guy that speaks lithuanian or german or Latin. Its really not that odd.

It used to be a world wide requirement of the priesthood to be fluent in latin. Its actually still on the books. And some places in the world still take it seriously. So some people may learn french and some german. It isn't uncommon in the vatican to run into people who speak five or six languages.
