British News Anchor: Europe Has No Energy, Little Food Production, Little Industry, and Virtually No Military. It Is Heading for a "Dark Ages" Not Seen For 1000 Years.

They've deliberately destroyed their own civilization.

𝐀 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐇 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐌𝐏'𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐆𝐘 𝐁𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀 -- 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐇𝐄'𝐒 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐓 𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐄𝐔𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐄

GB News' Alex Armstrong laid out the geopolitical map that American media refuses to draw: this war isn't about toppling Iran. It's about 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 -- and America is winning on every front.

Start with oil. The Strait of Hormuz carries 𝟒𝟓% 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚'𝐬 𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲. Trump effectively captured Venezuela's oil supply in January. As Armstrong put it: "𝘓𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘸𝘩𝘰'𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘴𝘶𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯. 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘪𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘢 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴." China is in the middle of a tariff negotiation with Trump -- and suddenly its entire energy supply depends on American goodwill.

Then Europe. With Russian energy off the table and domestic energy hollowed out by the "𝘭𝘦𝘧𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘣𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘯𝘦𝘵 𝘻𝘦𝘳𝘰," Europe is becoming 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐚𝐬. Armstrong: "𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘢𝘴 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘰."

Armstrong connected the dots to what the Pentagon calls 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 -- Greenland through the Panama Canal, the entire Western Hemisphere secured as a self-sufficient American economic and security zone. "𝘕𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘭𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘯𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘥, 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘦-𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘯𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘯. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢."

The most striking part was his warning for Britain: "𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘯𝘰 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺. 𝘞𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 60% 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥. 𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘯𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘫𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘺. 𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥." He described Britain heading toward 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟏,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 as America withdraws from its traditional role.

When a foreign ally's own news anchors are publicly acknowledging that Trump's strategy is working -- even as it leaves them behind -- that tells you everything about who has the leverage.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐭: 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐢𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐨𝐬. 𝐇𝐞'𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬.

Some are attempting to warn Europe that their insane drive for de-industrialization is pointless anyway:

Camus
@newstart_2024
"We're not saving the planet -- we're just exporting our emissions to China and India."

Konstantin Kisin cut straight through the net zero illusion on Steven Bartlett's Diary of a CEO.

Britain proudly cuts its share of global CO₂ from 2% to 1.9%, while actually increasing total emissions by offshoring production to countries with dirtier energy, then shipping the goods back on heavy fuel tankers.

At the same time, many people are poorer today than 20 years ago, even if they haven't fully felt it in their wallets yet.

Kisin predicts the big public shift away from net zero won't come from better science or arguments -- it will come when ordinary people can no longer afford their current lives.

That's when reality finally breaks through.

It's a sobering reminder that economic pain often forces the honest conversation we've been avoiding.

When do you think people will finally start connecting these dots?

Europe is now a Suicide Cult which has invited in a Death Cult to finish it off.

Unrelated: Artemis II is beginning its return to earth. It is expected to splashdown near San Diego at 8:07pm.

On the Flat Earth side of things, they're claiming that the rocket we watched take off was actually a big inflatable balloon. This Nobel Laureate doesn't explain how this balloon carried enough fuel to produce a rocket-sized spout of rocket-fast flame for twenty minutes, nor how this inflatable object managed to keep its shape while being propelled at speeds of 1000 mph+ in the atmosphere.

But he's very, very smug about it! He's the Smart One! You guys are the dum-dums!

And I think we can learn a lot about modern politics from this example.

My understanding is the the Dutchies went hardest -- they put limits on N2, claiming it was bad for the water or something, and required shutting down fields. (This is insanity if you know anything about N2, the Dutch, or farming.)

But Germany and UK are doing the same but different. UK is making the land taxable upon transfer to children so it would have to be sold off when owner dies. Germany was subsidizing converting to solar farms and also enviro limits. I think the EU had something like 10% reduction in farmland on their plans - something crazy like that, which all countries had to meet. It is pure suicide.

This will be the riskiest part of the mission: reentry. The heat shield on the Orion capsule had to unexpected charring and cracking. NASA modified the reentry profile to compensate. Let's hope they got it right.

That whole heat shield problem was a convoluted thing and I don't know if I completely understood it or not. While it sounds crazy, the problem, they said, was the first reentry profile wasn't quite hot enough. The heat shield didn't heat up as fast, and that caused the problem somehow.

So, the solution was to have this Artemis II capsule come in a little bit steeper and hotter to heat up fast enough. I know that's sounds crazy, but that's how I understood.

Finally, they made some design changes, and that new improved heat shield will be used for future missions.

The US is the screaming toddler on the airliner constantly demanding attention. We are stuck listening to it and we can't get away from it.

Most Americans have no idea how furious with America Europe is. First they impose huge tarifs. Then they stop aiding Ukraine. Then they threaten to take Greenland.

The funny thing is that they think Europeans care. The United States is quite frankly a country many Europeans want to leave behind and not hear about ever again.

Denmark bled for the US several times. Our people died for them. When did Israel die for the US? Where was Israel in Afghanistan or Iraq? I don't understand why Americans somehow like Israel, but say we're the bad ally?

There are a great many Americans who live in a completely fact-free fantasy world, carefully constructed to suit their bigotry and biases, and they become very upset when anything from the outside disrupts those delusions.

If they all weren't so arrogantly stubborn & blind about their situation they'd have reversed course a decade ago.

The Dutch government says this is to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases such as methane and oxides of nitrogen. This is a flimsy, ridiculous lie. The purpose is to stop food production. 95 I've been watching Canada do the exact same thing as Europe. They destroyed their industrial base in the name of Climate Change, and farmed out their energy acquisitions to foreign nations (China, Australia etc.). The perverted thing is that Canada is very rich in resources for energy, and they have allowed China to set up mining, drilling etc. inside of Canada while disallowing domestic companies access. On top of all of that, should Climate Change actually be a valid issue, Canada stands to benefit the most from warmer temperatures (moreso than any other country on the planet).

I, personally, think Canada is planning to become a "non-official" participant in the European Uinion. They've been lining up their legal system, green policies etc. to match the EU's which would be a prerequisite.

It was very obvious at the time that Kyoto was all about exporting the waste. They acknowledged that it was a scam, but justified it as "a gesture." (It was really a plan to hobble USA)

The real scam was that China et al are much less *energy efficient* than the West. So to make 1 ton of steel in those places requires more energy. By exporting it, they are increasing consumption. Plus the shipping, plus the environmental harm, plus the worker injuries and it is really diabolical.

For Orion, they're using a skip reentry profile. It sort of "bounces" off the atmosphere a bit, bleeding off speed, before plunging back down in a steeper path.

The Artemis I skip was greater, and that was part of the problem of not heating fast enough. This will still be a skip, but less of "bounce" on the first interface. Or something.

Peak g will be at 4g. That's one of the advantages of a skip profile -- it can reduce reentry g-forces.

The Mercury astronauts pulled ungodly g's briefly, 11g+ during reentry. Apollo was less peak, but was still 6 - 7 g.

Trump and his crew have seen the writing on the wall in the same way the Russians and Chinese have, just nobody wanted to admit it on our side.

The world is transitioning from the sole superpower U.S., to a multi-polar world of hegemonic states and their spheres of influence.

The U.S. is, obviously, walling off the entire Western Hemisphere the best it can, the Dunroe Doctrine is the first obvious proof of this.

Russia is shoring up its borders to the west, and building buffer zones between itself and Europe so that they can continue to maintain control of half of Asia as they do now.

The Chinese are trying to do the same in Southeast Asia and extending as much control over Sub-Saharan Africa for resources.

It's going to be like pre-WWI again globally in the next few decades, only with slightly different players.

Which means that if the Eurofags don't voluntarily move them to the US within the next generation, it's all going to be thrown in a wood chipper and burned by the mohammedans when they take over the rest of Europe.

No one with any sense is going to trust that the Euros will defend these priceless art works

The Orion heat shield is ablative. The Shuttle tiles, a tricky mess (damage to which doomed Columbia), are not.

An ablative shield burns away to carry away the heat. It's a one-shot use. The idea of the tiles was to be reusable.

Posted by: publius, Rascally Mr. Miley (w6EFb) at April 10, 2026 06:39 PM

-----

Maybe the issue is specific to ablative heat shields. The shield material gives off a layer of protective gas as it chars. Perhaps the scheme requires sufficient heating to cook off a good gas layer.

They have to do this direct entry. To slow down enough to enter earth orbit, they'd have to use a shit ton of fuel, the amount of fuel necessary to do TLI out of earth orbit.

Our thick atmosphere does the job of bleeding off all that energy the rocket gave them. Were it not for that, you'd need as much fuel to slow back down as you did getting to the Moon. Which return fuel would then greatly increase the fuel and mass require for launch.

249 So, the solution was to have this Artemis II capsule come in a little bit steeper and hotter to heat up fast enough. I know that's sounds crazy, but that's how I understood.

The Artemis 1 had multiple heat shield burns. The Ablative material is not a good heat conductor - it is an insulator. The multiple heating events on Artemis 1 did not allow the heat shield to cool off between burns. The result is that the thermal stress was deeper than expected and that caused the heat shield to flake and burn. The single reentry burn on this mission ought to keep the damage only of the surface - where it belongs.

Alas for Russia. The burn rate in their forces is so strong there is a limited number of soldiers with experience left. The Officer ranks at the JO level are even worse. The Russian Army does not have a NCO core to make stuff work, and to learn from combat.

No, they want Europe at their feet. India is too strategically distant, same with China. The Muscovite core is what Russia is obsessed with protecting. A broken, bleeding China suits them just fine.

Putin used to be 'pro Europe' relatively to the opposing factions before the war. The facts since has showed that those who wanted to concentrate in other directions had a good point. Hence his friendliness with India, and former plans to build transport links south overland.

Russia wants to control the "near abroad," and they already went through national uprisings and know that they cannot win against those.

But having a neutral Europe dominated by Russian food and fuel imports would suit them just fine.

As plenty of seasoned US diplomats pointed out over many years, Russia could have been our allies if the toxic combo of the globalists and neocons hadn't decided to start taunting and spitting on them in the 1990s when they were down. Bipartisan stupidity, and so here we are.

Trump tried to calm things, but RUSSIAGATE blew that wide open, because the Clintons have never given a crap about who they destroyed so long as they made a buck or avoided jail. When they die, so much is going to come out...

329 IIRC there was, at one time, during the early days of our spaceflight, the idea that you could doing a series of "dips" into the atmosphere to slow down, but not re-enter. I don't think the spacecraft design for that was a "capsule" but more of a "space plane" that had some additional controls.
