ANA KASPARIAN (GUEST): There are, in my opinion, people within our country who are less interested in their American patriotism and more interested in serving as Israeli operatives, and I think Mark Levin happens to be one of those people. So, these pressure campaigns, right, these threats, these efforts to literally destroy your life and your livelihood if you don't play ball, I do think that those intimidation tactics have been very successful in this country, and it's about time we push back, and I'm happy to see that people like you are pushing back.
I'm pushing back myself. I've lost jobs. I've lost opportunities as a result of how vocal I've been on this issue. But I care about my country more than I care about my pocketbook, and it's really important for us to live in a sovereign country.
On top of that, when it comes to the manipulation tactics that were used against Trump, not to rob him of his agency, at the end of the day he's the commander in chief and he made the decision. However, we can't deny the fact that Trump has an ego, as anyone who wants to be president very likely has, and it's easy to manipulate him by stroking his ego. So telling him these, like, these magical stories about how he's going to be the world's hero by, like, demolishing the Iranian regime and freeing the Iranian people, and it's going be so easy, you're going get so much credit for it. I think those manipulation tactics are also very effective on someone like Donald Trump, who likes to see himself as a hero.
MEGYN KELLY (HOST): I think that's all you need. That's all you need. I don't think you need to go blackmail. I mean, I'm open minded to the possibility of blackmail because, honestly, my past nine months have proven to me that they will stop at nothing to get you to bend the knee. Nothing. And I mean Israel and its emissaries, foreign and domestic.

One of the very few things I truly regret in life is that, when I moved into a new, very small town in the fifth grade I rebuffed a friendship from a very nice Jehovah's Witness, because everyone else bullied him. Not really. Basically YOU have to defend your own rights against self incrimination including when you are actually innocent.

Cops nor the DA look at it as their job to protect their suspect's rights. And in our system, the police and DA have to prove you are guilty, not you prove that you are innocent. You are under no obligation whatsoever to help them put you in a cell.

The context here was field sobriety tests in the last thread. Don't do them, all they do is convert an officer's vague suspicions being recorded on body cam of you having bloodshot eyes, not speaking right, etc. into something that they can use to put you in jail for DUI even if innocent. Field sobriety tests have been shown by actual studies to be bunk science with accuracy rate of about 50 percent and it is becoming an open scandal in several states (Tennessee and now Georgia) over how many people were falsely accused of DUI.

About 10 percent documented in Tenn (via blood tests), and now Georgia is showing the same problem documented via body cams and blood draws. Massive expense just to show innocence.

I listen to a lot of talk radio during the work day and whatnot, and his show took a dramatic turn a few months ago and it was very obvious.

He's allowed to have his opinions. My guess is that his constant agitation for another war is less due to his Jewish faith than it is that he's an aging neocon and never got out of the mindset that we have to go save the world.

A cop on the side of the road is like a judge in the courtroom, they can make you do whatever they like and face mebbe a slap on the wrist later.

Recording an encounter though is well within the law and recommended--ACLU I think has one app for smartphones and some people have benefitted from car cam recordings.

But remember that is a double edged sword, if you are in fact guilty, that evidence can be used to convict you as well. Search incident to arrest for the car cams (look up grabbable area in Chimel v,. CA for example). And your ACLU recording or other 2nd party can be subpoenaed for evidence.

Law enforcement training seminars are about how to get around the law and Constitution nowadays. So the endless attempts to get consent to search vehicles, the keywords for reasonable suspicion to be cited in reports and on body cam, etc.

Kansas State Police just got hammered in court as they were trained for and doing the endless delay crap on routine traffic stops in order to bring in dogs to search for drugs. And dog training on substances is a whole nother area of pseudo and real science requiring expert training for any result.

Most of the time those were not in existence or some poor sob bringing some personal stash from CO home.

They get real salty and pull out the sovereign citizen accusation just for asserting your rights as enumerated in the Constitution as it is. The contempt for regular people and the treatment of civil rights as a joke is shameful. But do explicitly exercise your right to remain silent and not to answer questions without an attorney, and be very clear that you do not consent to any searches of your vehicle or person.
