An Ivy League graduate and the owner of a PR firm revealed why she spends $12,000 (over ₹11 lakh) a year on beauty treatments and clothes, especially after moving from New York to Utah. In a conversation with Business Insider, she revealed that she undergoes the pricey procedures to keep up with beauty standards. “Utah has a slower pace, less diversity, and a more conservative culture, but one of the biggest challenges is the pressure to maintain a youthful, fresh appearance. Even though NYC is very focused on appearance, it's not as bad as Utah,” Hilary Reiter Azzaretti told the outlet, adding that she felt Utah was very “beauty-centric and that a lot of people here cared about longevity, wellness, and appearance.” *** She explained, “Half the pressure is self-induced. Mani/pedi easily $200
Haircut $100+ easily plus products another $100
Botox easily another $100-$200
Makeup is expensive
And you can easily spend $1000 a month just on clothes, shoes, not to mention a single purse could easily top that.
I see it all the time. I personally don't spend close to that but I know lots who do.

On the Rich Girl song...my husband initially thought I was a wealthy girl with a father having a yuge ranch. Because when running short of $ I'd call him and ask him to sell "one of my cows." I had two out of his herd of 200+. I also did not know they only had one calf per year to sell. My father, on the other end of the phone, would simply send money vs explaining it to me. A 200 acre farm is not land baron style ranching, more of a hobby farm.
He did not marry me for my money, nor did I marry him for his. We were po' white folk starting out. And glad of it.
I never asked my parents for a dime after I graduated college or we married. Which explains why my father was so thrilled to marry me off. Surprised I did not come with a dowry! Here! Take her!!!Thanks!

When you don't have direct sunlight in the frame, you can get easily get them. Cameras and the human eye are two different things. You can find some astronauts talking about this. In those photos, it's relativity dark enough to allow stars and planets.

That's looking more to the right from the first picture. You can see Mercury to the far lower right, all line along the ecliptic with Saturn and Mars. Yep, Saturn and Mars are closer to the Sun (angle wise, of course) than Mercury right now.

Lawyers do something similar, particularly female ones. I wouldn't be surprised to learn they edit or modify them in all sorts of ways too now, but it's long been common to find them using photos from a decade or more earlier in their professional bios. I've seen photos 25 years old still in use.

The last time I encountered a large group of pronghorn, they were feeling frisky and decided to race me down the highway at about 50-55 miles per hour. I kept my distance because I understand their disposition.
But I wondered about the tourists driving behind me. Once I passed by the herd, I no longer saw the tourists in my mirror. Chances are they hit one doing 75 mph and totaled their vehicle.

This of course only applies to western countries, and especially the US in its current unserious incarnation.

For those unfamiliar, as in many parts of the world, those two similar countries with not much in the way of real disputes have been pointlessly mutually hostile forever. Beagle Channel dispute - I lost track of whether it was already settled.
But not impressed with Mr Chainsaw, if he's pushing this. Pointless distraction when the herculean task of rescuing Argentina from its decades of torpor has barely begun.

I finally found a cream that I like - it is the only one I have ever run across that has pink undertones rather than yellow ones. It's the only "makeup" I use.
I figure I'm not the poor sap that has to look at my face, so I really don't care what everyone else sees 😂😂😂
Before I started treatment for cancer, I used to look about 10 years younger than my age. Can't claim that any more - I definitely look my age now - but I am still alive...

Milei should offer the people of the Falklands a deal: become a protectorate of Argentina, since Britain has fallen to the muslim hordes, and can no longer protect the Falklanders. Argentina will preserve inshore fishing rights for the Falklanders; offshore will be Argentina's exclusive zone, where Falklanders may also fish. No muslims permitted to settle in Falklands, and English will continue as the official language there, but have Spanish taught as a second language.

I reading up on photography, after getting on that tangent reading some discussion about Apollo vs Artemis. Artemis is all digital. Apollo was all film. Don't know much about it, other than film has its pluses and minuses and digital the same.
The cameras they're using on Artemis are Nikons, about 10 year old models (tried and well-tested -- you do NOT take something new fangled into space without extensive testing). They can do things with those cameras that would be impossible with Apollo film.
Yet, as far as resolution goes, the Apollo film has it beat. I swear, the Apollo color photos do just sort of look better somehow, and was reading the arguments back and forth about this.

One caveat is the Artemis images aren't all full resolution, they were transmitted through space, and there was compression and all that. And that is something Apollo couldn't do at all.
We won't get the full resolution until they get back to earth.

The ones around here are retarded. They're so used to people now they lay on their lawns and look at you like you're no big deal. Around my father's house they walk up to you like you got food. I saw one across the street from him laying on the woman's lawn by the curb, she comes home and goes to pull into her driveway and the deer gets up and moves a little as if to say yeah she's old, don't want to get run over here. As soon as she parked the car the deer goes an lays back down and just watches her get out of the car. We had 15 of them wandering around the grounds of the shop I work out of. They don't run they hang around looking at you like you're entertainment.

Those special Hassleblads they used on Apollo were 70mm film, BTW.
The equivalent resolution would be hundreds of MP, pretty much.
Now, something like they did with that night side of earth, illuminated in moonlight with Artemis was something that would've been impossible with the Apollo cameras. The tricks they can do with the digital are something else.
