Supposedly a real shot, not a composite,
taken at Hyogo Prefecture, Japan

An alligator attacks its handler so a spectator jumps in and wrestles the alligator to submission.

Fun with forced perspective.

Old but cute: Giant seal poses with family.

Alpaca has my fifth-grade haircut. So stylish!

Fear me.

Town builds statue to commemorate day that citizens formed human chain to pull a dog out of a dangerously-fast canal.

This seems like it would be pretty distracting.

Programmers designed the worst-possible volume controls for a computer or phone. I will implement these into the site ASAP

I think we have a dog hoarding situation here.

The Last Waterbender.

Kittens practice pouncing on each other.

Via Mark1971, a woman was attacked by a river otter, who turns out to be, as nurse ratched always says, evil. Caution for video showing a woman's face bloodied by the evil river otter.

3 Via Mark1971, a woman was attacked by a river otter, who turns out to be, as nurse ratched always says, evil.

Wasn't this attack in Lake Tahoe? If so, then wouldn't that be a lake otter, not a river otter? And aren't lake otters more closely related to sea otters than river otters?

And do lake otters hold hands while they sleep?

4 Ah, the ol' "Lawson vs. old-timey Japan" meme. Half the tourism in Japan now revolves around getting these shots.

42 ICYMI: A biting parody of "Paw Patrol," for the behaviorally undisciplined postmodern age:

Bridget Phetasy - Dumpster Fire 346 - "Hole Control"
https://youtu.be/9m9uvYBl12Y?t=982

Bridget's trainer's mantra is to "control your holes," such as by not putting that whole pie in your mouth. She suggested this was relevant to Milo's deportation, or more pointedly his unlamented failure to avoid it, due to an apparent lack of self-regulation or "hole control." The above link is cued to the ensuing animated parody.
