Every time we 'discover' the FBI did spied on someone... you will find a JUDGE's signature on that warrant.
EVERY SINGLE TIME. Now the reason a warrant needs a Judges signature is to make sure that someone is not abusing the system... they are the check ... they are supposed to be the balance. Don't just blame the FBI for this... blame the Judges, all the way up to the Supreme Court that supposedly oversees the FISA courts. The senate has always been the drag on our republic and the place where liberty and constitutional order go to die. The phrase "saucer that cools the tea" refers to a metaphor used by George Washington, comparing the U.S. Senate to a saucer that cools hot tea, suggesting that the Senate serves to temper the passions of the House of Representatives. There is a grand jury in Florida hearing evidence of a conspiracy to deprive Trump of his rights. The reason Florida was chosen is because prosecutors are claiming that the raid of Trump's Mar A Lago was part of the conspiracy. Jack Smith was in charge of the raid. To me, Fall of the House of Usher was a bigger tragedy.
I have read a lot of Poe, and that is one of my least favorites. It is his attempt at "gothic" in the style of Melmoth the Wanderer, and it just doesn't work. The tragedy is that Ace said he wanted to read some Poe, and picked that one. We never got through it because it sucks. I wish I knew beforehand as I would have recommended about a dozen other short stores that are much better. Posted by: bob (moron incognitus) at March 25, 2026 01:29 PM (FrseG) 281

Ace, you missed the second big shoe dropping in this news! Huge news.

...Democrats were losing voters measurably every presidential cycle since 2008 until...2020 saw a weird, unexplainable, and one-time massive increase in voting.
Posted by: TheJamesMadison, discovering British horror with Hammer Films at March 25, 2026 01:23 PM (gYVzu) I've been thinking for a long time that if there were a true forensic audit of voting - more specifically, vote counting - we would come to realize that deep blue states were actually red. I base this on nothing more than a common sense realization that when one party has iron-clad control of the counting process, it should come as no surprise that that party continuously wins. Not even a variation but a clear example of Stalin's dictum in play. It's a shame we don't have an institution - like The Press - that makes this one of their investigative goals. And conspiracy minded as I am wont to be, I suspect that they would stampede each other to death doing this investigation if it were Republicans in control of the vote counting process.
