The deployment of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit does not mean it will be used as a ground force in Iran, but it provides land, amphibious and aviation assets available to military commanders if needed, ABC News reported.
The 31st MEU also includes a squadron of F-35B Lightning II stealth fighters and a squadron of MV-22 tilt-rotor Osprey aircraft. I smell a takeover of Kharg Island thus shutting down Iran's Oil Industry.... Just Say'n ??????????????? Posted by: Jackson K. at March 13, 2026 07:28 PM (tNUCp) 11

Headline from the World of Corrupt Sports (AP):
"WADA to weigh barring Trump, US officials from LA Olympics and possibly World Cup over unpaid dues" Excerpt: "The World Anti-Doping Agency is considering rewriting its rules to try barring President Donald Trump and all U.S. government officials from attending the LA Olympics in 2028 in a move that could also have implications for the World Cup being hosted by the U.S. this summer. The proposal, on the agenda for next Tuesday's meeting of the global drug-fighting watchdog's executive committee, is the latest maneuver to come out of a yearslong refusal of the U.S. government to pay its annual dues to WADA. The refusal is part of the American government's unanimous, bipartisan protest of the agency's handling of a case involving Chinese swimmers and other issues." A man shot and killed by Dallas police earlier this week was a familiar figure in North Texas law enforcement – and part of the security detail for U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett, sources told CBS News Texas.
Multiple law enforcement sources tell CBS News Texas the man, known publicly as Mike King, had been using aliases while running a business that placed officers in off‑duty jobs. King was killed Wednesday night after a standoff with Dallas police SWAT officers. Police say he fled into a hospital parking garage, barricaded himself inside a vehicle, and was forced out by tear gas before pulling a gun on officers. The tankers were hit during an Iranian missile strike on the Saudi base in recent days, the officials said. U.S. Central Command declined to comment. The tankers were damaged but not fully destroyed and are being repaired, one of the officials said. No one was killed in the strikes. The USS Reliant's Captain Clark Terrell and first officer Commander Pavel Chekov beamed down to evaluate a planet they mistakenly believed to be Ceti Alpha VI. After capture by Khan Noonien Singh, he explained that they are on Ceti Alpha V.
Fifteen years prior Kirk had exiled Khan and his followers on Ceti Alpha V, but six months later, Ceti Alpha VI exploded, drastically changing Ceti Alpha V's orbit. Fifteen years prior Kirk had exiled Khan and his followers on Ceti Alpha V, but six months later, Ceti Alpha VI exploded, drastically changing Ceti Alpha V's orbit.

Posted by: Ex Rex Reeder at March 13, 2026 09:37 PM (otZRM) Trump doesn't want to destroy their oil capabalities because of several reasons. 1. It would severely hamper the succesor regime's ability to keep the economy going, and feed the people as oil is all they have to export. 2. It would keep oil prices high if China is forced to go to the open market to replace the lost imports from Iran. Trump doesn't want this to cause an energy price induced inflation jump in an election year. Trump is using Kharg as a bargaining sword of Damocles with Iran so they don't keep attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
