The Camp David Accords between Israel, Egypt, and the US back in Carter era set forth a military aid formula. For the most part, that foreign aid is more like a buy American weapons with it than unrestricted foreign aid. So most of our 'aid' to Israel and Egypt comes back to the US weapons factories as orders.
Reason why Israel issued a lot of American small arms in the past and currently spends a lot of its money on US munitions and war tech.

Amazon had an AI code slop moment yesterday/today where about 6 million orders were lost because someone misused code from AI. English banks had a similar issue where people logged in and saw other people's accounts in full yesterday.
I personally think AI is oversold for routine matters right now on coding and customer no service functions. It can be useful as an aid to people like a CSR mebbe to call up transactions etc. or to remember an odd coding function, but is not ready for prime time to be unsupervised.
Unfortunately, companies and CEOs wanting to justify their massive expenses on AI cut out the human part in order to claim savings where the true savings will come from keeping those people in place but being able to improve their performance with AI.

We NEED those items, my husband is terminally ill and you used to be able to depend on delivery services.
Not anymore.
We are in no shape to drive one and half hours or two hours to the "big city" to buy the stuff.
