You might have seen the amazing video of Iran welcoming its new Supreme Leader.

The actual Supreme Leader was not present. (Tousi TV says there are legitimate reports that he was hit during the early rounds of bombing and lost his leg and is currently in a coma.)

So to welcome the totally-alive New Supreme Leader, they brought out -- and this is not a joke, this happened -- a cardboard cut-out of a human silhouette with a photograph of the totally-alive Mojtada Khamenei's head on top of it.

In fairness: Iran was not the first country to do this.

Tousi noted that he could have sent along a video message or "appeared" via Skype. But he didn't. They just literally put a cheap standee at the front of the room and said "Bow to your new Supreme Leader, the Amazon box our new Yoga mat came in with a xerox glued to it."

And they did!

right. So I don't know why they moved it. It's possible they just want to signal that DC is not the real capital of America any longer. I've also heard that attendance is down and they're looking for cheaper accommodations.

though, CPAC, and just about every other conservative event, was held in DC in February, which is the cheapest time to book a hotel in DC, of course. I remember one year when an event was held at Denver, in December.

I think Texas in march is a big upgrade over February in DC.

I understand it’s a joke, but it truly frames current situation rather correctly.

You have to levels of infiltration. The first are the Tuckers, Candace etc.. who hid within the movement for a long time and then activated as subversives.

A course I used to play had a goose problem around its multiple ponds m, but solved it with an extremely well - trained Lab.

Fido would go out with the first group of the morning, and knew how to not get in front of the golfers. Once he had access, he'd chase the geese away from their nests.

After a few days of being annoyed, the geese would move out.

They put up metal coyotes on my local course. They only lasted a year. The geese got used to them and continued to crap on everything. Other birds would come and sit on them and crap on the coyotes. Nobody was fooled.
