The Garvagh Madonna or The Aldobrandini Madonna)
Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino It was owned by the Aldobrandini family for a very long time, but the last owners before it was sold to Britain's National gallery were the Garvaghs, so that is what the museum calls it. It is really small, but impressive in its warmth and gentleness of portrayal. If anyone wants to steal it, I will be happy to buy it!

Bizarrely, I just saw something about historical potty training practices. Apparently constant diaper wearing is a new development and infants generally freestyled most of the day until they were trained, which happened (not unexpectedly) , at a very young age- 1 or so. Might be worth studying more. (Also explains a lot of the free flowing dresses historically worn by infant boys and girls.)

Once the problems got sorted out (which took waaaay too long), the Mk-14 worked well. In the early '70s, it was held in esteem as the only combat-proven torpedo we had in inventory. They were used for practice firings. If (or whether when) one was not recovered after firing, practice shots were suspended for the quarter for the entire submarine squadron.

Democrats tend to treat their weirdo candidates like normal candidates. Republicans tend to treat their weirdo candidates like pariahs. It's an uneven battlefield.
Hell, Fetterman vs. Oz is fucking ground zero of that in recent memory. Fetterman was an awful, awful candidate, but the Democrats just backed him. Oz was an okay candidate, and the right just treated him like he was some kind of retard.
However, there are obvious limits to that support. And nominating a dumbass former merc with a Nazi tattoo to be the Democrat to beat Susan Collins is beyond that limit.

It will have a massive impact on the City of London. Insurance, commodity markets, and foreign exchange are some of their biggest international market income bringers. Any hit on Lloyds will have a multiplicative impact, likewise the end of intel sharing with the US. It hits their financial markets as MI-6 and City of London are intertwined and I suspect any CIA info is released to City of London market types via MI-6 to make a pound or two.
