Funny how whenever reporting on a Muslim carrying out a terrorist attack, the MSM reflexively writes it off to "mental illness," but whenever reporting on transgender terrorism, they never mention anything about the trans shooter having mental health problems. The amazing thing is that it's believable. It could be true or untrue, but Israel's capabilities have been so amply demonstrated the past few years that it's believable on its face.

That must be a strategic benefit. Even if you lie - but not too much, and too outlandishly - you'll be believed. People just believe you can do that, even if you can't. From a psychological warfare standpoint, that must be extremely valuable.

Trump has been skeptical of large-scale and long-running interventions. He has not been shy about interventions as such.

ISIS.
Iran (the earlier one).
Venezuela.
Various military assassinations.

This is much bigger than anything he's done before, but so far his messaging is still fairly consistent: this isn't going to be a conquest followed by administration.

Two things here, Matty.

1. Lots of people have been doing exactly that, for my entire life.
2. I was not one of them. I was opposed to military intervention in Iran primarily because of the risks of "forever war" and risk to American blood and treasure on imperial games of nation-building. That said, we are intervening and now I fully support *winning* this intervention so our men and assets can return home after the successful mission - and I have some faith in Trump's force of will, personality and some of his better advisors to pull this off without a forever war or generalized imperial disaster.

I can believe that, between the technical aspects of Navy equipment and the time needed to be even marginally proficient at surviving the oceans, it'd probably take much longer to learn everything.

In the Army on the other hand, E-4 makes sense, because half the time your chain of command puts E-4s into E-6 slots when there aren't enough SSGs to fill them.

It would most likely be digital data since no one really does analog feeds anymore. That means it goes through a processor, and since it has to be switchable, then there is a chokepoint that can be tapped or intercepted.
I also doubt the cameras are shielded, so there may be enough leakage of signal to be detected externally as well.

The bow wave is gonna be the elderly care. There aren't enough one child kids to care of the 2 parents or 4 grandparents. And the party isn't gonna do it.

For a while real estate investing was what all the aging were doing to try and make a nest egg but these last few years the bubble there has burst and trouble is looming.
