Another Muslim Terrorist Attack, This Time in Austin

We may never know the motive, authorities vowed.

The man wearing a "Property of Allah" sweatshirt, with an Iranian flag shirt underneath, and a Koran in his car, Culturally Enriched two Americans to death and wounded 14 others with diversity.

He was, of course, an immigrant and a criminal, allowed into the country by Bill Clinton and then granted citizenship by Obama.

The fiend behind Sunday's bloodbath at a packed Austin bar was an ex-New York City resident wearing a "Property of Allah" hoodie -- and possibly out for vengeance over the US attack on Iran, law-enforcement sources told The Post.
Crazed Texas shooter Ndiaga Diagne, 53, of Senegal arrived in the US on March 13, 2000 on a B-2 tourist visa during the Democratic Clinton administration and became a lawful permanent resident (IR-6) when he married a US citizen in June 2006, a source familiar with his immigration history told The Post.
He then became a naturalized US citizen on April 5, 2013 around the start of former President Barack Obama's second term -- despite his growing rap sheet spanning New York and Texas.
On Sunday, the killer had a Quran in his car and was possibly also wearing an undershirt featuring the Iranian flag or other Iranian symbols when he opened fire on Buford's Backyard Beer Garden near the University of Texas-Austin campus, according to sources familiar with the investigation.

Law enforcement knew him as an emotionally disturbed person in both New York and Texas before Sunday's bloody rampage, sources said.
He also had a string of previous arrests under his belt in the Big Apple and Texas, sources said, including a 2022 arrest in the Lone Star State for collision with vehicle damage.

In New York City, he notched busts between 2001 and 2016, the year he applied for asylum under the waning Obama administration.
Diagne was arrested in 2001 for illegal vending. His other three city arrests are sealed, sources said. Details on his Texas busts were not immediately known.

In Scotland, a Cultural Enricher stabbed a bunch of people as he attempted to force his way into... a nursery.

A man has been arrested after a knife incident in Edinburgh which left two people needing hospital treatment.
Police firearms officers were called to reports of a man with a bladed weapon in the Calders area of the city at 08:25.
A stand-off followed with a suspect later seen looking out the window of an 11th-floor flat for a number of hours but he was removed by police at around 16:00.
Police Scotland said the incident was not being treated as terror-related.

He received it in 2000, and overstayed by 2,130 days before he got "married" to a US citizen. And he is still here wreaking havoc. I'd love to see the form he filled out and the consular officer who approved it. Make consular officers who issue visas to foreigners who overstay/adjust status or worse, commit crimes, liable for their stamp of approval. That might just shut down a huge pathway the criminals use to enter the US.

This has always bothered me. Clearly, someone who does something like this is mentally ill, whatever their excuse. It takes a crazy person at least temporarily to murder people. Who cares? They still did it. They still were driven to it by certain pressures and ideas in their lives.

This idea that somehow mental illness only strikes certain horrible deeds and negates their motivations, and further that someone should get a break in their sentencing for being nuts is insane and violates every real sense of justice.

China has and can continue to get fuel. What China is losing is *discount* fuel. They had three major sources for discount fuel: Venezuela, Iran and Russia. Only Russia is left. The discount there wasn't as good as the other two, but if India is about to blink on the topic of Russian oil purchases, China can negotiate a better discount.

China is still going to have access to the fuel it needs, but it is going to have to pay market price for much more of it - and in the short term (until Iran comes back online), the price is going to go up as a direct consequence. That will suck for us but suck much more for them.

China's source of fuel didn't vanish, and it won't. China's sources of low-price fuel, however, are falling.

France 24, 'Thank you, madam president': Melania Trump leads UN Security Council as Iran war rages
United Nations (United States) (AFP) – First Lady Melania Trump pressed the cause of children caught in conflict as she chaired a UN Security Council meeting Monday as the US-Israeli war against Iran raged.

"Ahead of the meeting, Iran's ambassador to the UN Amir Saeid Iravani said "it is deeply shameful and hypocritical that on the very first day of its presidency of the Security Council, the United States convened a high-level meeting on protecting children."

And so on...

"But the United States is still $4 billion in arrears to the UN for its regular budget and its peacekeeping budget, with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warning of imminent financial collapse."

They're getting schooled, too.
