After Killing of Top Narcoterrorist In Military Raid, Cartels Engage In Widespread Violence and Arson Across Mexico

Mexican police, with the assistance of US intelligence, killed a narcoterrorist during a raid.

They drug terrorists retaliated by killing a mayor and setting Mexico ablaze.

Major drug lord 'El Mencho' killed in Mexican military operation with US intelligence support

Nemesio Oseguera's death triggers widespread cartel violence across Mexico as armed groups block highways and burn vehicles

Cartel leader's death sparks violence in Mexico, US embassy issues shelter-in-place order

Major Mexican drug lord Nemesio Oseguera, known as "El Mencho," was killed in a military operation Sunday morning, the country's Defense Department announced, marking one of Mexico's most significant blows to organized crime amid pressure from President Donald Trump to intensify the crackdown on drug cartels.

The announcement came as government officials warned of clashes in Jalisco state and widespread criminal activity across the country, prompting the U.S. Embassy in Mexico to issue shelter-in-place advisories for multiple states.

On Sunday, Mexican troops reportedly conducted operations in Tapalpa, Jalisco, targeting Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes, a former police officer who became the elusive leader of the Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG), a major supplier of fentanyl to the United States.

Known as "El Mencho," Oseguera Cervantes carried a $15 million U.S. bounty and rose to power following the arrest of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán, the former head of the Sinaloa Cartel. Over the past 15 years, CJNG has grown from a local criminal group into a global trafficking organization operating out of its stronghold in Jalisco.

...

The Mexican Defense Department said the operation was conducted as part of bilateral coordination and cooperation with the U.S., whose authorities provided complementary intelligence that contributed to Oseguera Cervantes' capture.

...

During the capture, the CJNG ringleader became wounded and died en route to Mexico City, the Defense Department said.

Four others were reportedly killed at the scene of a shootout between Mexican troops and criminal suspects in Jalisco, with Oseguera Cervantes among three additional individuals who were wounded and later died.

Authorities said they detained two other members of the criminal organization and seized a range of weaponry, including armored vehicles and "rocket launchers capable of downing aircraft and destroying armored vehicles."

...

Widespread criminal activity has been reported in Jalisco, the cartel's stronghold, as well as in northern regions that serve as key border and transit corridors for the organization.

The Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico noted that multiple buildings were reportedly damaged during the "violent incidents," including roughly 20 branches of Banco del Bienestar, a state-run banking institution.

At least 21 highways remain blocked, with authorities reporting that five have already been reopened.

Photos showed numerous roadblocks and burning vehicles, with dark smoke rising into the sky, across the country -- tactics officials say cartels often use to slow or block military operations.

...

"We remain in Code Red. We reiterate the recommendation to avoid leaving your homes. The clashes are occurring in several federal entities," Jalisco state Governor Pablo Lemus Navarro added.

...

The operation against Oseguera follows sustained pressure from the Trump administration on President Claudia Sheinbaum's government, urging Mexico to step up its fight against drug trafficking amid threats of potential U.S. intervention.

"There is absolute coordination with the governments of all states; we must remain informed and calm," Sheinbaum said on Sunday. "In the vast majority of the national territory, activities are proceeding with complete normality."

The president of Mexico was installed into office by the narcoterrorists. She is both an extreme leftist, an open borders (with the US) extremist, and a catspaw of the cartels.

Cartel violence is being allowed in Mexico because President Claudia Sheinbaum works for the Cartel

A Senator from Mexico went on Fox News and exposed it all

* The President of Mexico works for the Cartels
* She was funded by money from the cartels
* It's not just the President, there are an entire group of Mexico politicians labeled the "arco politicians"
* Mexico is a "Narco state"
* Mexicans are afraid of the alliance between the Mexican government and the cartels
* The Morena (political party) is financed by the cartels, that's how they get elected
* Once they get elected the deal is for the Mexican government to then protect the cartels
* The President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo doesn't want this information getting out
* Mexicans and the Politicians who are no paid off by the cartels want Donald Trump to help with the cartels

The Mexico Senator exposing all this says she is now being threatened with prison for speaking out "The President has threatened me to proceed against me with criminal prosecution to get me out of the Senate and get me in jail just because I told you in this space in Fox News"

And now the assassination of Uruapan Mayor Carlos Manzo, an own cartel critic...

The cartel runs the Mexican government

She says that she will not join America in taking action against the cartels burning Mexico to the ground because drug terrorists have "human rights."

Trump has repeatedly offered her US help in confronting the cartels, and she has always insisted that they not be touched. Because she's on their payroll.

Meanwhile:

That's not an idle claim. "El Mencho" was in fact the beneficiary of San Francisco's Sanctuary City policy. Dianne Feinstein gave him a helping hand when he needed one:

Puerto Vallarta is now the Paris of the West, and I don't mean that in a good way.

More destruction.

Our Communist Enemies to the North are promoting travel to Mexico over travel to America, calling Mexico "safer." I guess that depends on the city, to be honest.

8 (The Mexican government) hath been, during the whole time of our connection with it, the contemptible sport and victim of successive military revolutions, and hath continually exhibited every characteristic of a weak, corrupt, and tyrranical government.

These, and other grievances, were patiently borne by the people of Texas, untill they reached that point at which forbearance ceases to be a virtue. We then took up arms in defence of the national constitution. We appealed to our Mexican brethren for assistance. Our appeal has been made in vain. Though months have elapsed, no sympathetic response has yet been heard from the Interior.

We are, therefore, forced to the melancholy conclusion, that the Mexican people have acquiesced in the destruction of their liberty, and the substitution therfor of a military government; that they are unfit to be free, and incapable of self government.

The necessity of self-preservation, therefore, now decrees our eternal political separation.

20 I am waiting to see what happens with Schienbaum. Per some analysts in the area, she is between a rock and a hard place, since the US is making charges at her over Fentanyl and human trafficking, and the left-wing of her own party is likely to dump her if she is too close to the US. Her security chief, Omar Garcia Harfuch seems to be onboard with the US involvement in the war against the Cartels and he seems to be directing things on the Mexican end

The argument was that men are lonely because of rigid gender norms and toxic masculinity.

So break this down then, the argument is that men are lonely in 2026 because in 2026 we have more rigid gender norms and a more traditional form of masculinity then we did historically.

Really? REALLY?

And this is a pattern I see with leftwing hot takes on every new problem. Things are worse now, you see, because we've moved right on cultural issues. Which is...insane.

I can only imagine those Thanksgiving meals), not to go to Mexico on her honeymoon. She went anyway. Also believes, in spite if me, that purses sold on NYC streets are real! I could write a novel about the stupidiy surrounding me in this job. She said it was safe at the resort, guarded by men with guns. Ok!

I went to Mexico twice: once in college on spring break (Kino Bay, with two fellow nursing classmates and their brothers). Had a blast. Had enough sense not to drink the water or hang out with the people outside the condo.

In 1981 we went briefly over the border to Tijuana with our toddler son and a friend of my husband's from San Diego. I know Tijuana is not the best place to introduce anyone to Mexico, my dude said never again. Our blonde son would frequently be mobbed by people wanting to touch his hair. The taxi also did not have brakes, to add to the adventure.

While I am sure Mexico is beautiful, based on my college trip, I would not take the chance now and be stuck there as some Americans are.

79 This situation with the cartels reminds me of the north coast of Africa, Algiers to Morocco basically, for around 300 years. For centuries, Muslims raided from there to take slaves from everyone, including each other, but as far north as Ireland. Everyone in Europe and Mediterranean had the same reaction: someone has to stop this.

But for centuries, there was always something else to do and something intervened and well, to be honest, some people in Europe were getting rich off this slave trading and didn't really want it to stop. People with a lot of power and money.

So while everyone knew something had to be done, nothing was done until the mid 19th century when finally a coalition of basically everyone got together and stomped a mud hole into the entire area and they were silent and cowering for about 100 years.

That's how I see this Mexico and South America situation with the drugs. Someone is finally doing something about it, after a long time of going "someone ought to do something".

89 This should cause a warning and modification from FIFA to immediately cancel the World Cup in Mexico. No chance to fix it.

If they haven't canceled the World Cup in the United States with the current situation, I doubt they'll do it in Mexico.

The US caused this. The Jalisco cartel is the cartel that is owned by the CIA. unfortunately my compatriots aren´t seeing the big picture yet.

Suddenly, after all this time they get the leader. Really? Out of the blue, after all this time. Today, this week, really?
Release all the files. Stop trying to distract.

Seems like the same chaos the US CIA has done to other countries. These cartel have American military guns, armored vehicles, anti air and drone weapons. I wonder who sold it to them?

This is not about destroying cartels, this is about taking them over. Despite her rhetoric president Claudia Sheinbaum is a you know who's asset.

Glad we are bombing Venezuelan ships because there clearly isn’t a cartel problem in Mexico….

Australian nationalist activist Thomas Sewell has blasted the corporate media in a fiery interview

Mr Sewell, 32, appeared at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday charged with “offensive behaviour” over the October 2024 rally where he and a group of about 30 then-National Socialist Network activists held a banner saying “fuck off, we’re full”

He looks like a bona fide neo nazi, but I gotta say, this should not surprise -- the Left has resurrected communism as their stated goal while painting the nazis as their main enemy. Nationalists are now claiming that banner mostly because they are against the internationalist anti-free market, anti-white bolshies.

Yes and no, almost everyone from Mexico knows someone or is someone who works for the cartel at least part of the time. Estimates are 1 in 10 Mexicans do so high likelihood of family members, friends, and acquaintances being involved at one level of operations or another. Money laundering through legitimate enterprises is one the big ones causing many to have cartel contacts.

You can remove the top leadership fairly easily but removing the ingrained corrupted institutions like the police, courts, businesses, politicians, etc. is the work of decades to fix. Mexico took 40-45 years to get to this point and fixing it is likely to take about as long.

148 When major cartel players are murdered, it's usually because a rival cartel wanted him dead. Even if it's the government that did the killing.

A government (or quasi-government) paramilitary group took the death shots against Pablo Escobar, but that was only after months of rival cartels ratting him out, threatening and killing some of his henchmen, etc. There may even be some controversy as to exactly who it was that killed him.

Sheinbaum had a choice. Either we take him out, or you do with our assistance. And rest assured, we didn’t send a second string. An ODA was involved.

What people fail to understand is there is an increasingly blurry line between the cartels and terrorist groups. CJNG, in particular, has been gaining weapons of increased sophistication including, if rumor is to be believed, Chinese and Iranian MANPADS. That’s in addition to RPG’s and the alphabet of automatic and crew served weapons.

There is no way we are going to, nor should we stand for terrorist groups on our border to continue asymmetric operations with sophisticated weaponry.

And we’re not.

It is not an either or situation. It is most likely a political power situation with Schienbaum trying to balance out the various power blocks that want their way or her death.
The difference here is that Trump really wants to get rid of the Cartels and their opium war against the US, and is happy if Schienbaum would spearhead the Mexican end of things in return for his support.
She may not be up to the task, since there are a lot of player who have their own needs that can't be allowed to override the main goal of surviving.

Oil and minerals institutionalized thievery and corruption in the Mexican elite for at least the last century. Add in the various Marxists, soft and hard, foreign meddling (turn of the century was Japan, now it is China a century later), generational resentment of El Norte, and the relative impoverishment of Indians in the South, have stirred up a toxic brew.

Mexico had and has rotten ten percent of elites that live life on easy mode while the rest suffer and that makes it easy for the Mexican elite to simply make deals with the cartels in exchange for easy money. All of this creates a parallel criminal shadow government behind the public face of the titular government.

Kick the UN out of New York...

Bring the boys home from Africa, EU, and Mid East... plant em in Texas... then, start South until we take our Canal Back.

Tell Canukistan that they can either Join the US, or it will be a total border embargo...

Due to the new Security concerns, tell Denmark we are going to take Greenland.

10% Tariff on any good coming into American Ports, on a NON US Merchant ship, and that money is earmarked to expand the US Navy... (will help defense budget, plus would rebuild American shipping).

You now have a North America, with very secure and controllable borders.

the country that used to use more drugs than any other was China during the Opium wars, which was a political move by the British to destroy a competitor in the far east. Fentanyl and cocaine are being shipped in to the US by cartels, and the profits go to Asia and whoever is backing the cartels and the growers. It is destroying the US. Money laundering is a huge element in this, because the problem with holding millions in cash is that all your employees will steal. The banks are involved, and Trump wants it stopped. Treasury is the most likely place to hold all the proofs of transfers.
I don't think Trump wants the heavens to fall, but he does want justice, and he may decide he doesn't care so much about the heavens after all.

Yup, early 1900s brought yuge changes to our Fed Government... everything from a National Bank, and how we Tax, to Women voting and how Senators became popularly elected.

and then... WW1, Spanish Flu, then a few years later, the Great Depression... then WW2, which cemented Fed Gov oversite over almost all aspects of life.

That 50 year time span really changed the US... and we are still dealing with the results.

There are a lot of American expats in Mexico with nice estates to retire in. You just don't tell them to pack up and leave everything behind and come to the US which in of itself is no longer an American country with its own dysfunctions and on its own precipice of being taken over by:

Yeah it was one of the many minor hits on the Muslims because of their attacking ships, but then they started up against after a few years. It was after the Napoleonic wars that the coalition came in and mopped up, utterly ending the entire operation. Muslims were never again a force in the Mediterranean, the slave raids ended.

Below the U.S.A., there is a country run by fucking narco-terrorists who all hate the U.S.A. and want to destroy it by uncontrolled drugs, violence and illegal alien invasion into the U.S.A.

And within the USA, over the past 2 decades we have been taken over by Muslims, Indians, illegal aliens, Mexicans and fags, all of whom hate the United States and are working together with most of the U.S. government -- who also hate the United States -- to commit mass fraud, violence and murder of U.S. citizens in an effort to destroy the country from within.
