The Morning Rant: The SAVE Act

You don't hate the media enough.

You might think you do, but the lies they spout about the SAVE act should disabuse you of the notion that they are anything other than evil servants of a malign movement whose one goal is the destruction of America.

They dutifully parrot the Democrat Party talking points that are themselves baldfaced lies, and horribly insulting to vast swaths of America.

Translated into simple English, those talking points are: Black and Brown people, and married women are too dumb to get ID, and only good White liberals are smart enough to take care of them.

Of course that is arrant nonsense...the real reason for fighting the SAVE act is to allow illegals to vote, and for the oceans of uncontrolled mail-in ballots that swamp America every election to continue to corrupt the will of the voters.

Text: H.R.22 — 119th Congress (2025-2026)
What counts as acceptable proof?

The bill outlines categories of documents that could qualify, including:

A valid U.S. passport
A REAL ID-compliant ID that indicates U.S. citizenship
Military ID together with a military record showing U.S. birthplace
Government-issued photo ID showing U.S. birthplace
Other government documents demonstrating citizenship (such as naturalization records)

If a person does not have these standard and common documents, the bill requires states to create an alternative process where additional documentation may be submitted to prove citizenship.

That sounds like the bill is mandating a reasonable process to allow American citizens access to their voting rights, even if they don't have traditional forms of identification. It doesn't sound like disenfranchisement of women or minorities or midgets or left-handed lesbians or any of the pressure groups that the Democrat/leftist apparatus trots out to prove that we filthy conservatives are just itching to throw them in camps.

It does one thing; it keeps non-citizens out of the voting systems.

Don't let them obfuscate...don't let them lie...don't let them subvert our voting...don't let them get away with their typical lies that filter into the American consciousness by sheer volume.

The resistance to this sane, rational, thoroughly acceptable bill is a strong indicator of the true politics of those who are fighting it. Senators Collins (a tepid yes with a procedural no) and Murkowski are against it, but we knew that already. The big issue is getting rid of the so-called filibuster, and any senator who resists that is also an enemy of our true voting rights.

We can argue incessantly about the wisdom of the filibuster, but a legislative victory for this administration is a powerful signal to the country, and will last far longer than presidential memos and administrative rules changes that can be cancelled the first day of a Democrat administration.

And who knows...maybe Fetterman will vote for it and President Trump can talk about his bipartisan triumph!

Except the U.S. We are so corrupt that basic security measures are stopped by a small minority (80% support them!) because they rely on fraud to rule over the people who they hate.

I seriously doubt the filibuster is ever going away. Dems didn't do it in 2021 when they had the effective majority (Mitch handed leadership to Schumer in the 50/50 chamber, and they had Kamala to tie break).

It makes on the bubble senators simply too important. So, opposition votes against it en masse, and then just a couple on the pro side vote against it with mouth words about institutional integrity but it's really about keeping the spotlight on themselves.

That's the thing, they've used the "blacks can't ID" lie for so long that it's been accepted as fact.

OF COURSE blacks (and married women) can get ID, as ID is required for all sorts of everyday adult activities/transactions. The people who are legitimately unable to get ID (e.g. institutionalized) shouldn't be voting any way, probably also not engaging on other adult activities independently.

74 It isn't just illegals. In fact, illegals may be insignificant to their plans.

Much of the inner city voting machines rely on proxy voting -- Either through "ballot harvesting" for states where mail-in voting is allowed, or through the old fashioned way of having teams of people show up at each precinct, being told who they are, and sent in to vote. This used to be standard before the mail-in acceptance.

The only way to stop this is with legitimate ID at registration and polling station. This would end the Democrat vote fraud machine.

This has been going on for decades and everyone knew it. It was felt that it was too much bother to correct, and after all, it only corrupted the inner city votes. But they have expanded this fraud and it is now big enough to affect state and federal elections.

First off, assholes, the majority of us don't change our birth certificates when we get married. We have this thing...it's called a marriage license...that we can show as proof for a name change and it also matches our birth certificate.

Secondly, many of us had to dig up all this documentation just to get a REAL ID (my state forced it). Birth cert, SS card, marriage license, divorce papers, proof of reversion to birth name, another marriage license, etc. My first marriage/divorce was in a completely different state and (horrors!) I had to write/call to get the proof I needed.

It wasn't brain fucking surgery or rocket science and anyone who tells you that it isn't possible/is financially a burden is nothing but a flat-out liar.

109 I saw a movie last night that's more in TJM's lane than The Blade's. King of the Gypsies. It was meh. Basically, th emovie is The Godfather with Romani gypsies instead of Italian mafia, with a special appearance by Tony Manero from Saturday Night Fever.

Ok, I'm joking about that last part, but only a little: a very young Eric Roberts plays the grandson of the King, and he looks and acts like a character from SNF who accidentally walked into the wrong studio.

The movie is slow, bland, and not much makes any sense. There's minimal conflict or drama, because most of it takes place off screen. And it's hard to care about any of these people, because the movie goes out of its way to portray them as liars, thieves, criminals, wife abusers, and scumbags.

Good cast, though, although Judd Hirsh was badly miscast as the father.

Two out of five stars.

It shouldn't be allowed. IF one is born "Mary Johnson", that is the ONLY name that should ever appear on that document, because the birth certificate is a "record of live birth". What occurs AFTER the live birth is not relevant for that document.

"Our" congressional critters should make that Federal law, so we can stop pretending that those born male were retroactively born female and vice versa.

But "Our" congressional critters don't give a damn about us.

125 2020 only allowed the Dems to expand their operation, but inner city elections have been fraud for a long time. This is what happens in all one-party states, or quasi-one party where the minority goes along to get along.

In a real election you have candidates at the lowest level fighting for each vote and they do not allow vote buying because it affects them. They watch every polling station and scrutinize the count. Even still, this is difficult in inner cities even without absentee ballots. I have seen church buses driving around during election days with dozens of people voting at each one. Think about that a bit - 20 or 30 churches, 20 people per bus, 10 votes per person = 5000 votes and enough to control most city offices. This has been going on for decades. (Do I need to explain this more? Why do they need a bus when the voting stations are all very local - usually more local than the churches.)

With one party cities, the party controls the candidates and this is how. Offices are bought and sold and it is all graft.

In 2020 the Dems figured out how to expand this with mail in and centralized counting.

Y'all likely know this -- but in case anyone doesn't -- if you have a passport it is a substitute for a Real ID (so getting both is a little redundant, but it might be more convenient to use the Real ID for domestic matters such as flights -- and use the passport for other matters like international travel).

BTW, we're flying to Israel later this year to tour The Holy Land. Before you're allowed to enter Israel, you must apply & be approved for an "ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization for Israel)."

One of the questions on the form was "Is your passport biometric?" Haven't heard of those before ... so looked it up:

"A biometric passport (also known as an electronic passport, e-passport or a digital passport) is a passport that has an embedded electronic microprocessor chip, which contains biometric information that can be used to authenticate the identity of the passport holder."

It's really not that hard. All you need is a birth certificate, a head shot photo you can get anywhere and $130 and you get a passport. Easy peasy. In some states you can even get a Real ID at a AAA store and avoid the DMV hassle.

I'm in favor of making voting at least as difficult as it is to buy a gun. If someone can't be bothered to at the very least prove who they are I don't want them voting in elections that can change my life.

This is an important, and overlooked point.

Our systems were designed such that local elections had close oversight by local candidates. Those candidates made sure the local counts were legit -- city offices. They needed the party to provide the ground troops to be watchers at every polling station.

Those local counts were public. They were passed up in a hierarchical manner to the city, county, state, and at every level there were watchers and local news reporters. Newspapers had young reporters at the polling stations reporting the count so the local candidates, party, and news all double checked what the officials reported.

This was done this way because you can transfer a dozen numbers (the local count) reliably and publicly. Now we send the ballots to a central spot to count and anyone and inject whatever they want and corrupt it all. That was impossible with local counting and there, a corrupt (pixy l..

The pattern is: district judge orders a TRO. 14 days pass of frantic commentary. The district judge orders an injunction. The admin responds with an appeal, and the appeals court sides with the admin. Then, months later, the suit is won by the admin and no one notices.

It's just gotten faster the deeper into the second Trump administration because most district court judges aren't falling for it anymore, all of the appeals courts are sick of it, and SCOTUS keeps slapping everyone around when it does get to them.

So, yes, some Maryland District Judge will try to stop it. It won't last more than a month, though.

He did this a few years back in some blue shithole city asking blacks if they had ID, knew anybody who didn't, and if they knew where the local DMV was located. Most were of course offended ... as they should be.

He then asked whites if they thought blacks had difficulty obtaining ID and didn't know where their local DMVs were. Of course, most of them said "Yes."

Went through that 35 years ago when I got a maroon US passport for official business during my Army days. Someone from our division G1 screwed up the photos and made them the wrong size for the entire battalion. We had to get new photos for everyone when State rejected them.

Then when we landed in Egypt, we all had Gyppo entry forms filled out for their border guards, but they were xeroxed copies and were rejected. Two of us guys from the S3 section had to go down to the border police station and re-copy (by hand) about 300 docs onto the actual Egyptian forms, which were obviously mimeographed. As if that made a difference.

The Gyppo cops were surprisingly nice guys, for mohammedans. They offered us Cokes, tea or coffee while we worked. I took the coffee, which was my first time with middle eastern style coffee. They got a kick out of watching me take my first sip and getting that first caffeine slam.

Bureaucratic bullshit appears to be one of the most common human traits.
