Lisa Murkowski Will Oppose SAVE Act; Grandstanding Flake Thomas Massie Is the Only "Republican" In the House to Vote Against It

I mentioned yesterday that House staffers were accusing the Luciferian Mitch McConnell of scheming to block the SAVE Act out of simple political malice against Trump

Let it be noted for the record that Lisa Murkowski has always been one of McConnell's closest allies.

Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski is once again breaking with Republicans -- this time by kneecapping voter ID legislation backed by President Trump and conservatives who argue the country desperately needs stronger election integrity laws.

In a post Tuesday on X, Murkowski announced she will oppose the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility Act, known as the SAVE Act, along with the Make Elections Great Again Act -- two GOP-backed proposals aimed at tightening voter ID requirements and restoring confidence in federal elections.

Her opposition gives Democrats exactly what they need: another Republican willing to block the bill in a Senate where the 60-vote filibuster threshold already makes passage an uphill climb.

Rather than engaging with the substance of voter ID -- a policy supported by a strong majority of Americans -- Murkowski recycled familiar talking points about "federalizing elections," comparing the SAVE Act to Democrat power grabs Republicans fought during the Biden years.

Her excuse is that she doesn't want federal law making rules for federal elections?

Straight-up McConnellism -- they only start talking Muh Princibuhls as they slip the knife between your ribs.

Massie just voted against it, citing "Muh Libbratarianisms."

Here's the disgraceful cuck in further action.

The name "Lex Wexler" is in the Epstein files "37,000 times," says Lisa Murkowski.

In one -- ONE! -- instance, it was erroneously redacted. Bondi un-redacted it after it was brought to her attention, within 40 minutes.

Grandsanding flake and femmy cuck Massie makes this single glitch part of his doomed re-election campaign, alleging a cover-up, attempting to stop Bondi every time she attempts to point out the name is literally in the files 37,000 times and she un-redacted this single glich redaction within 40 minutes. He just won't let her get that out.

He wants to sell the dummies on a Massive Conspiracy narrative.

- Vote for Speaker McCarthy (x2)
- Vote AGAINST Secure the Border Act of 2023 (Because of E-Verify)
- Vote to suspend the Debt Limit for the rest of the Biden Administration (Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023)
- Vote against ensuring Tlaib (2023)
- Vote against Mike Johnson
- Vote against Trump's CR (The best CR in years)
- Vote against the OBBBA
And now Vote against the Save America Act, on technical grounds.

Laura Ingraham
@IngrahamAngle

It's as simple as this: Massie hates Trump. He has no other agenda. His version of the "Constitution" means open borders, jobs being shipped overseas, and lower living standards for working people in America. Now he wants to help Hakeem Jeffries become speaker. No thanks.

BTW, he voted against the CRs because of Muh Libberatarian Prinzibuhls.

But Trump reduced the deficit by a full 35% in one year. Politico, of course, only reports the total accumulated deficit, hiding the fact that we had a massive decrease in the yearly deficit over a single year:

I personally cannot wait until he's gone. He's trying to deliver the Congress to the Democrat.

Communist femboy Ted Lieu got into it with Bondi, decrying the deportation of all the murderous Cultural Enrichers we just can't get along without.

14 I've said this for a while, Republicans just need to band together and get a Democrat elected in Alaska to just get rid of her. You're never going to get rid of her in a primary.

The usual threat of "she's better than the alternative" just doesn't work anymore.

You can pull that routine if you live in some ultra blue state, but not Alaska. Retire her and then come back with an actual conservative Republican.

I think Fetterman voted for the SAVE act?

18 from Grok:

Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) voted in favor (Yea) on the 2006 reauthorization of the Voting Rights Act.

The bill in question was H.R. 9, the Fannie Lou Hamer, Rosa Parks, and Coretta Scott King Voting Rights Act Reauthorization and Amendments Act of 2006. It passed the Senate on July 20, 2006, by a unanimous roll call vote of 98–0 (Record Vote Number 212), with no senators voting Nay and none recorded as Not Voting on the final passage.

Official Senate records explicitly list Murkowski among the Yea votes, alongside her Alaska colleague Sen. Ted Stevens and the rest of the chamber. This bipartisan unanimity reflected broad support at the time for extending the Act's temporary provisions (like Section 5 preclearance) for another 25 years.
For reference, the full roll call is available on the Senate's website: Senate Roll Call Vote 109-2-212. Multiple sources, including later statements from Murkowski's office and analyses of voting rights history, confirm her support for the 2006 measure (even as positions on subsequent restoration efforts have varied among some senators).

That is what he says, I judge a person not on the words, but on their actions that lead to certain outcomes.

If he was sincere, he would not wait until the vote to end up looking like a Democrat, he would work prior to the vote and get a coalition. But he doesn't do that, so the outcome of his actions is no different than hard-core Leftists.

But he isn't sincere. He doesn't care about the outcome. He just virtue signals so people like you will White Knight him.

172 This is pretty standard for Democrats.

They literally held their own Republican convention here in Texas after the Civil War and sent it to the national convention pretending to be the real one. I’m not sure this is the only place that happened.

176 US debt forecast to hit $64T in a decade as Trump policies widen deficit

Ten years? Right. Just like "Peak Oil", "Global Warming" and Mayan Calendar End Times.

If this was really expected by the smart money, how should ten year Treasury Notes be priced?

There are a myriad of variables, especially the 800# Gorilla - what happens when China makes a serious move on Taiwan?

As the multi-trillion dollar fraud continues, when do people just stop paying taxes? If Trump succeeds in shutting off the fire hose of fraud into DNC coffers, does that change the profile of the House and Senate?

Trump retires in three years. What happens the next seven years of Not Trump?

No, no. Clearly it is Bannon's job as a journalist to ask questions. It is not like anyone can be condemned merely for asking questions.
That would be fascism or something.
