As Questions Mount About Ilhan Omar's Rags-to-Riches "Virtual Winery," She Deletes All Online Traces of the "Business" That Supposedly Made Her Rich

Maybe slightly suspicious.

David Strom:

By now you have likely heard about her rapid--as in rocket-speed--rise in wealth, although due to federal reporting requirements, the range within which her net worth is measured is millions of dollars, so no precise percentage increase is out there. But let's just say that in terms of rapid rises, Nancy Pelosi would be quite impressed.

The commonly floated numbers are a rise from about $15,000 net worth to about $30 million.

A major part of that growth in wealth has been the rapid rise in the valuation of a sketchy "winery" from a few thousand dollars to a whopping $5 million to$15 million, despite having (perhaps) released few wines and, in recent years, none at all. Its locations appear to be empty buildings, its wines are unavailable, and once attention was turned to its sketchy nature, all the information about it disappeared from the internet.

It's a remarkable "success story," but one that may be as real as a Somali healthcare company. The money appears, but the product...not so much. It sure LOOKS like money laundering.

The "virtual winery" has been scrubbed from the internet just days after Benny Johnson reported that it looked fake:

Benny Johnson
@bennyjohnson
🚨How did Ilhan Omar make millions from a 100% fake winery?

This is insane. We investigated. Check this out...

Illhan Omar lists a California winery on her financial disclosures. You can see them below. The winery name is 'eStCru LLC.'

In 2023 it was valued at $15k.
In 2024 it was valued at $5 Million (!!!)

This must be a very successful winery to grow that much in value over one year. Except... the winery does not even exist:

- No phone line
- No physical winery
- Social media gone dark
- A barely functional 'website'
- No wine lol

What is this?!

It gets worse: Omar's third husband, Tim Mynett, has been accused of defrauding investors through this FAKE winery. He was sued by the investors for millions because it's all fraudulent. This is on brand. Minnesota AG Keith Ellison previously worked with Mynett, the same AG who has REFUSED to investigate widespread Somali fraud.

How does a nonexistent winery jump from $15k to $5 million in one year when the company is a ghost? How can Omar claim this fake company provides her millions in assets? Seems like a cover.

Ironically, one of the wine labels they made was literally called 'The Devil's Lie'

The Trump administration and Republicans in Congress MUST investigate this fraud further.

NEWS Ilhan Omar's husband runs a supposed "masters of the universe" investment firm but its D.C. address matches that of a WeWork. Its website boasts "deep global networks built from on-the-ground work in more than 80 countries" when its apparent D.C. WeWork office evidently shares space with a Walmart operation and the American Trucking Assn. This is the firm Omar valued his stake in at upwards of $25M.

So where did Ilhan "Omar" Nur's and her Democrat political operative "husband's" overnight jackpot wealth really come from?

We may never know.

But it's obviously graft from fake Somali day cares and transport "businesses."

2) Judges hate that, it biases them against you

70 I suspect the winery might not be money laundering but a different kind of scam: good old fashioned pump-and-dump.

It seems like her gay husband was selling “investments’ in the winery. You want big investments you need big valuations. Selling 5% of a $15k business doesn’t rake in nearly as much as that same 5% of a $15M business.

The pump-and-dump is about drastically inflating the true value of a company, selling shares at drastically inflated prices, pocketing that money, and then when the company inevitably tanks, it’s a big “oopsie!”

This is what I suspect the winery was.

Now, you want to skim that into your own bank accounts. The wineries and consulting business or whatever the hell are part of that somehow.

115 suspect the winery might not be money laundering but a different kind of scam: good old fashioned pump-and-dump.

167 Personally I would look up the registry on the State Secretary of State site, then look up the information on the state workers' Comp site too see compliance and insurance.
Then of course the Federal and State oversight agencies for the production and distribution of alcohol, and then the Ag department for ag chem certification and training, and ask around the major labor contractors to see if any of them had supplied workers for the picking and crush.

Those are big ones to come up zero on.

I'm being a pedantic dick here, but what I described and the classic notion of money laundering aren't the same thing.

Money laundering is where you already have a pile of ill-gotten funds that you need to be able to slip into the banking system or purchase goods with in something other than briefcases full of coke money. To that end, you set up a storefront where the cashflow through it is hard to quantify, then cook your books to pass the dirty cash through as though it's legitimate proceeds of the business.

What I described is just a way to "legally" peddle influence, like Hunter Biden was clearly doing, or like Killary charging $800k for a speaking engagement, or Latrine John-Pissoir getting a multimillion dollar advance on a book that nobody is going to buy.

Sure, masking bribery isn't the same as money laundering, but the two are more alike than they are different. Both are obscuring the source and destination of funds. In the former, it's from bribers and to the bribed. In the latter, it's from the left pocket and into the right. Mechanically similar, though.

220 I thought Muslims were opposed to alcoholic beverages.

We live in interesting times. Years ago, before everything got so savage, a muslim guy had a nice restaurant not far from me. Apparently his imam took the broader view, because he was a heck of a bartender, and joked, "Look, my faith says I can't drink this stuff. It doesn't say I can't serve it to you. You'll have to tell me if it's OK, though." I'm afraid those days are gone. But his cousin has a gourmet place, with artisan drinks at the bar and an excellent (Bekaa Valley) wine list. Best in town.

She endorses sharia law. That's the hard line. She's not allowed, within her faith, to make, sell, consume or even touch alcohol. But that in itself won't keep you out of Congress.

With what these people do, that alone is winning. The least competent end up broke and disgraced, but not even the most sinister ever face real consequences. If I steal a candy bar, I go to jail. If I kidnap someone, I go to prison. If I kill someone, I get the needle.

They can steal the entire treasury, run down and harasses and lock up innocent people for political purposes and kill with impunity and not only never see a cell, they rarely even see the inside of a court room.

That they will all surely ride the barbed cock of Satan for eternity is without question.

But I am *not* unconcerned with "temporal justice." We live in the real world, and consequences on *this* plane matter. And there aren't any.

And "sometimes evil people die in luxury" is a false equivalence. It is surely true, but not relevant here. The problem here is "evil people with their Party cards universally fail to die in anything but luxury." Their evil is directly rewarded and self-perpetuating in a consequence-free environment.
