"Peaceful Protester" and Super-Hot Male Model Alex Pretti Seen in New Video Spitting at ICE Agents, Kicking Their Cars

Newly surfaced video shows Alex Pretti spitting at federal immigration agents, kicking a government vehicle, and screaming profanities during a violent confrontation in south Minneapolis on January 13 -- just 11 days before he was fatally shot by Border Patrol agents.
The footage, obtained by the Minnesota Star Tribune, captures Pretti, 37, amid a chaotic street scene as an unmarked federal convoy moved through the area. Surrounded by a crowd blowing whistles and heckling officers, Pretti is seen shouting abuse at agents, spitting in their direction, and kicking a vehicle before officers move in and take him to the ground. As he stands back up, what appears to be a handgun is clearly visible in his waistband. Moments later, he is released and remains in the area as the confrontation dissipates. A spokesperson for Pretti's family and the family's attorney confirmed to the Star Tribune that the man in the video is Pretti, whose death nearly two weeks later would ignite protests.
The video was recorded by The News Movement on January 13 and later reviewed and aired by the BBC. During a 10 p.m. GMT broadcast, BBC journalist Ros Atkins said the individual in the footage matches Pretti's appearance, clothing, and gait, adding that facial recognition technology suggested a 97 percent match. Atkins told viewers the video shows Pretti "shouting abuse at the agents" and "kicking a car" before being wrestled to the ground, noting that a firearm is visible in his waistband as he gets back to his feet. A BBC spokesperson later confirmed to Mediaite that the network reviewed and authenticated the footage using facial recognition tools.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are facing a surge in violent threats unlike anything seen before, according to new disclosures from federal officials who say hostility toward frontline immigration enforcement has exploded amid sustained political attacks on the agency.
ICE officials this week revealed that death threats against agents and their families have skyrocketed by roughly 8,000 percent, while physical assaults on officers have jumped more than 1,300 percent, a spike they attribute to increasingly aggressive "abolish ICE" rhetoric coming from activist groups and reinforced by elected officials in sanctuary jurisdictions.
One recent case laid bare the ugliness of those threats: an ICE agent received a voicemail in which a man repeatedly urged him to kill himself, called him a "fascist pig," and extended his rage to the agent's family, saying, "I hope your wife dies. I hope your mom and dad die. I hope everything wrong that could go in your life happens. I hope you have the most miserable life."
The message continued with graphic threats and insults, ending with the caller telling the agent, "You are a traitor to the American people, to the values that made our country. You should kill yourself. You're disgusting."
Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin said the escalation is not happening in a vacuum, arguing that Democrat leaders who govern sanctuary cities and states have spent years vilifying ICE in ways that predictably lead to violence.

Democrats got nothing last time. The admin response to Pretti's death has been to reshuffle some chairs near the top and then go harder by sending in Homan who got MN and Minneapolis to pull back completely on sanctuary policies.

Plus, you know, the actual immigration enforcement arm of DHS is fully funded through 2028 and the House passed all of these bills with large Democrat numbers.

This is the crux of the "agreement" reached between the administration and the Minnesota/Minneapolis government. The feds will enforce the absolute bare minimum federal immigration law in MN. Nope. And one thing to always remember, slo motion on video does not exist in real life. At full speed, the confrontation, like with Good occurred in seconds, not minutes. And this is typical of most lethal and violent encounters--goes from nothing to full on assault in a few seconds. And action will always be faster than reaction which is why the cops when they see the opponent is armed freak out. Unless the cop has their firearm out, then most of the time someone can draw and shoot faster than the cops can respond as it takes time for the person reacting to someone else to process what is happening and how to react.

THere is a guy on the YT that is crazy fast at disarming a gun pointed at him and teaches that to others. He is relying on the fact that he can move faster than the person holding the gun can react and pull the trigger to hit him.

Action almost always beats reaction.

Never trust activists of any sort to give you a true picture of the law because agendas interfere with the message. And the fact is that LEOs operate under a very different rules of engagement than armed citizens do. They are required to engage to enforce the law, citizens are never required to do that and usually that is legally unwise.

No law officer has a duty to retreat, even in states where retreat to the wall doctrine exists. They can use x amount more force than the perp is using in order to effectuate an arrest and it does not have to be proportional in the moment of a possible lethal weapon being present and perhaps being used in a tussle.

So ignore the clickbait types trying to use the controversy to get watches, etc. Go to the more solid types that have grounding in the law, not activism.

Cops, by contrast, are supposed to be trained to deal with people, exhibiting a highly disciplined, professional image to gain trust with the public at large.

If you go to his own website, you will find he claims to be a civil rights attorney but little or no discussion of actually trying cases. He, himself, describes himself as an activist rather than a lawyer.

The truth is he probably makes a lot more from 1.1 million followers and his former gig at the NRA than he ever did practicing law. John H. Bryan is a better example of a practicing Civil Rights Attorney and he is based in WV and formerly was at the DoJ doing just that on policing matters for them.

The truth is that you will always have idiots trying to commit suicide by cop and trying to second guess cops making split second decisions when the whole train of idiocy prior to that by the perp was ignored, means you will ALWAYS have some cause nationwide for activists to try to make into a cause. The left gets to select when and where that cause will be born and sometimes even ignore one death to focus on making some thuggish criminal like George Floyd or Michael Brown into a martyr.

At a certain point, you either make a clear choice--do you want criminals taken out of society by arrest or do you want anarchy. We cannot ever allow perfection to be the standard for action because under such situations, most people will never act including cops.

He called it reckless since both Pretti's arms were being held by ICE at the time someone yelled gun and that's when the other ICE guy show him once, the other ICE guy was already walking off with the gun from Pretti's belt, then the 3rd ICE shoots him many more times.
