California Defrauded the US Government for Millions to Provide Phone and Internet Service for Their Most Reliable Democrat Voters

I speak, of course, about the dead.

Note that the program they afforded allowed them to either allow the US government to verify the claims made, or else California could opt out of this federal verification and do the verification themselves.

California chose to do its own verification.

And then provided phone and internet service for almost 100,000 dead people.

California obtained millions in federal funds to cover phone and internet service for 94,000 dead people, a new report from the Federal Communications Commission has revealed.

The state took in $3.8 million between 2020 and 2025 through the federal Lifeline program, which spends nearly $1 billion annually to subsidize phone and internet service for low-income Americans, according to the FCC's inspector general.

Of the three states named in the report, California collected the most money by a long shot -- accounting for more than 80% of the payments, the report said.

"Gavin Newsom's California was by far the worst offender of these opt-out states," FCC Chair Brendan Carr wrote on X, referencing states that oversaw the program's verification process for recipients. He said that the FCC has revoked the state's authority to manage verification.

Newsom's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Of the 116,808 deceased individuals in opt-out states, roughly two-thirds (77,446) were enrolled after their deaths, the report stated.

It's almost as if the Democrat Party no longer votes for billion-dollar boondoggles for the poor, but billion dollar boondoggles to personally enrich themselves and their billionaire donors.

Huh? So, we have an agency within the Federal govt. called the GAO (Goverment Accountability Office) whose express purpose and creation was to investigate how federal agencies spend taxpayer dollars, auditing programs to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with laws passed by Congress.

BUT, a state receiving this Federal funds just can show the hand and negate the necessity of the agency I, ALSO, pay for to assure my taxes are being applied properly and legally.

Does that sum things up? Because April 15th is getting to be more and more unnecessary with each of these revelations.

I looked up the etymology of the name "Shapriro" not long ago. According to Wikipedia, it's the Yiddish form of "Speyer," a city in Germany that had a substantial Jewish population. Some Jews from there just went with the German name for the city, "Speyer," as a surname. The article doesn't mention whether any Christians did so.

My paternal grandmother's maiden name was "Speyer." So maybe I'm part Jewish?

122 For some reason with this post I remembered a crazy thing after my brother's unexpected death from a massive stroke. I loved him dearly as the funniest person on earth.

I had to go with my mother and other brother to do funeral home stuff, which I try to avoid as much as possible. The ghouls that work there flip me out as much as car or furniture salesmen.

Anyway, we were sitting around a big table and the ghouls were faking being sorry for us. They asked for my cell phone number and others. Then asked for my late brother's, which I found peculiar.

I said, while laughing, "Why? He can't answer or call you back?" My other brother smiled and my mother sort of did as they know I am not always suitable to be in public even in normal times.

We then went to the cemetary where my mother got enraged with those ghouls at the cost of opening an empty grave that had been paid for 60yrs prior. My brother and I stared at each other as she raked a man over the coals. I guess this was our grieving process.

We were all better after that.

Not just that, I've almost been shot twice by police due to negligence. I'm actually afraid of them because of their poor training. If I see one in my traffic pattern I'll right turn to get off the road just to avoid Murphy getting me pulled over.

These idiots have no idea. They're not playing with fire, they're soaking themselves with JP5 and playing with fire. I think if this is allowed to continue we're going to see another Kent State. Those guys panicked, and all it took was one guy to lose discipline and the rest opended up.

Once you engage in illegal actions like fighting with an officer, then they have the right to disarm you by force including deadly if you resist.

Only a very stupid person and one that should not be carrying in the first place purposefully engages cops of any flavor, local, state, or federal while armed.

Oh, and BTW TJM,
No cop has to give you Miranda rights when they arrest you. They only have to do that before interrogation as in custody.

Arrests only require probable cause witnessed by the officer or already preexisting in a warrant, etc.

My Criminal Law students all freaked out when I told them that. I also told them flat out never resist, talk back, nor try to wheedle them out of a ticket, etc. to a cop on the side of the road. Save it for court.

251 Another thing to remember, don't carry off your property without using holsters. Many states have holster laws for firearms due to accidental discharges, etc.

If you like to go armed, then sure as hell follow ALL relevant state laws where ever you are. Even if they appear stupid to you, in a police encounter, you might take a ride downtown, lose your ability to buy a firearm in the future, and end up with a record.

Same applies dealing with federal lands. Follow the laws no matter how stupid they are. GOA is not gonna get you off nor is the 2AF. And if you have concealed carry insurance, they may well cancel you if you are caught violating firearm laws or fighting with cops.
