Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals Overrules Lawless Lowly District Judicial Insurrectionist, Removing Bullshit Restrictions on How ICE Can Handle Violent "Protesters"Who knows, it's possible that this judge's lawless diktat that "protesters" should be allowed to be violent and ICE is barred from responding with non-lethal munitions like tear gas and pepper spray actually led to the death of the violent protesters. MXM News: The lowly district court judge and insurrectionist had claimed, in the face of all evidence, that the "protesters" were all uniformly peaceful and therefore ICE was barred from using any non-lethal force against them. In the meanwhile, Kash Patel says he's following the money and the FBI is investigating who is funding these violent revolutionary groups. He also says the FBI is continuing to investigate the fraud network. FBI Director Kash Patel said Monday the bureau has identified people and groups who are funding leftist protests aimed at Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers in Minnesota. During an appearance on conservative commentator Benny Johnson's podcast, Patel confirmed that the FBI's investigation into the unrest is active and expanding. "We've got ... investigations ongoing into the funding of this," Patel told Johnson, stressing that the protests are "not happening organically" and that investigators have made "substantial progress" in uncovering groups and individuals financially backing them. Patel also asserted that federal authorities are examining encrypted left-wing chats connected to protest organizers in Minnesota -- warning those involved that they "should be worried" if they have violated federal statutes. Some people are asking: Is this insurrection being staged not to protect illegal aliens but to protect the Democrat Party's fraud-farmers in blue cities? In other words, are they attempting to block further investigation of the Somali and other organized crime looting of the federal treasury? If this is just about protecting criminal illegals, why did the violent "protests" not begin until after the Nick Shirley revelations?! Arthur MacWaters

Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals is a great place to be if you're one of the good guys. 8CA is one of -- if not the -- most conservative courts of appeals in the country. Last I checked, all but maybe one or two of the judges were appointed by GOP presidents. Now, that's not a guarantee of anything, but it improves the odds.

DC_Draino
@DC_Draino This entire ICE fight is over the 2030 Census. Democrats pushed millions of people in blue states to move out with their high taxes, Covid tyranny, and skyrocketing costs of living, so they opened the border floodgates under Biden to replace them with illegals. President Trump is now mass deporting them so they’re violently fighting back. The 2030 Census all comes down to the 2028 race though. If Democrats steal the White House again, these 2030 Census numbers will get rigged worse than the 2020 election. If a Republican wins, Dems will rightfully lose power in DC for decades. - I don't think that's accurate. They don't want so many deaths that the faceless minions of evil are discouraged from throwing temper tantrums. Kyle Rittenhouse demonstrated that threshhold is apparently three in one night. What they want is the one right death that will get them sympathy with the normies in order to justify larger "protests" and provide the narrative for the next round of election theft in November. Which will coincide with historic midterm trends, so most people will be expecting Dem gains. Posted by: Methos at January 27, 2026 01:48 PM (vSvIl) 28

Ever seen interviews with activists from the 1968-1974 period? They all say the same thing, "We were convinced that the Revolution was happening. This was IT -- the moment America would fall. We were delirious with anticipation. Any day now, any moment now." Etc. But of course it didn't happen. Same with Reagan, same with Bush, yadda yadda, never ending. Also, another cartel judge has ordered the Border Patrol chief to appear in his court as to whether he should be held in contempt.
The issue is whether the BP has sufficient resources to process all the people they are arresting. The judge is whining because some shitbag illegal has had to wait 8 days now on his bond hearing. Except ... bond isn't required in immigration. AFAIK, that's made-up "judge" law. And the judge is whining that somehow it's the BP fault there as so many habeas petitions. But, didn't we just have a ruling that illegals cannot appeal their final order of removal via habeas? Oh right: Cartel judges are the law. *Breaking* news: It turns out that Alex Pretti was injured in a scuffle with federal agents in Minneapolis a week before he was shot.
Pretti, was left with a broken rib after being tackled by a group of officers during a protest against Donald Trump's immigration crackdown, according to a CNN source*. The alleged assault occurred after Pretti stopped his car after seeing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers chasing a family on foot. Pretti allegedly began shouting and blowing a whistle, and was then tackled to the ground by five agents. The source claimed one officer leaned on his back, causing his ribs to break. The ICU nurse, who allegedly 'thought he was going to die', was reportedly released at the scene - but allegedly remained on federal agents' radar. * Since this isn't being reported by CNN Senior Correspondent Brian Stelter, we don't know if it's reliable. FFS this idiocy about the previous administration deporting millions. Some dim ones even talking about how Obama deported so many. All to lay the basis for their stupid, stale and redundant "gotcha!" that ...... SEE, THEY ONLY DO THIS WHEN TRUMP TAKES OFFICE!
Both the named administrations - obviously - facilitated massive increases in illegal alien presence. The Obama "deportations" were mostly close to the border and after immediate apprehension, which don't require almost any process whatsoever. Obviously the country has been dumbed down beyond recognition in recent decades. But the pathetic teenage bleatings about "hypocrisy!" such as the one cited by ace still amaze. Oh - and the anti-ICE actions pre-dated MN and happened/are happening elsewhere. It's not - obviously - about "distraction". It has its own objectives. Welp, the Democrats have pulled out the Big
“What has unfolded in Minneapolis this past month betrays our most basic values as Americans. We are not a nation that guns down our citizens in the street. We are not a nation that allows our citizens to be brutalized for exercising their constitutional rights. We are not a nation that tramples the 4th Amendment and tolerates our neighbors being terrorized. The people of Minnesota have stood strong — helping community members in unimaginable circumstances, speaking out against injustice when they see it, and holding our government accountable to the people. Minnesotans have reminded us all what it is to be American, and they have suffered enough at the hands of this Administration. Violence and terror have no place in the United States of America, especially when it’s our own government targeting American citizens. No single person can destroy what America stands for and believes in, not even a President, if we — all of America — stand up and speak out. We know who we are. It’s time to show the world. More importantly, it’s time to show ourselves.” -- J. Robinette Biden Posted by: Duncanthrax at January 27, 2026 02:08 PM (0sNs1) 136

Maybe a few federal judges should embed themselves with the nightly ICE patrols to make sure that ICE agents comport themselves with the non-lethality required by those judges. I'm sure that would inform their next ruling on a TRO about the use of force.

I learned today Somalia has a GDP of less than $14 billion. No wonder all those people were willing, even eager, to move to the cold northern Minneapolis; they could nearly double their country's GDP. And the state politicians and Democrat residents will actually DEFEND their right to loot the place.

If Democrats steal the White House again, these 2030 Census numbers will get rigged worse than the 2020 election.
If a Republican wins, Dems will rightfully lose power in DC for decades. -- That's what I've been saying for months. A 2030 census under Vance not only locks them out of the Presidency for decades .... - they'll never have a majority on the Supreme Court in any of our lifetimes - they'll be locked out of winning the House for decades as well When you add in election integrity pushed by Trump then Vance, backed up by the SCOTUS, we will also see several more states flip solid red up and down the ballot. Any operation involving a cadre of men trained in the art of violence has its risks. Especially when they are operating under the cover of civilian or military authority. Once you deploy them you’ve taken a calculated risk. One of those risks is that people who actively or inadvertently get in the way will be killed or wounded. These communists and traitors deliberately put themselves in the way. They knew the risks but didn’t think they would fall on them.
They chose badly. Politics is another matter. What’s driving this is a desire to beat back four years of invasion by the Democrats. It’s furthermore driven by a CiNC who wants to fulfill those promises. Remember that when next cycle the subversives start pretending to be conservatives and saying Republicans didn’t deliver on mass deportations. The communists will see this change in strategy as an affirmation their tactics are working. Expect to see them repeat these operations in places like NY. It’s already starting. We have a giant shitpuddle ahead of us, and you’re about to find out who has the shoes to get through it. Posted by: Marcus T at January 27, 2026 02:25 PM (ittVa) 218

Some of it is deliberate and part of the OPFOR strategy to divide the electorate. The other part is ignorance. I say ignorance because these are the same people who would bitch like a tween girl when the case later fell apart because the prosecutors moved to fast without proper foundation. The people funding and organizing this aren’t stupid. They know exactly what they’re doing and have hidden behind a complex legal strategy designed to promote this as legitimate, constitutionally protected activities. In that regard, they’ve left themselves enough cover that when things go kinetic they have plausible deniability. Good? I guess?!
Regarding the "peaceful protesters" is not what I see. Today I saw a video of a nitwit who grabbed a flash bang grenade, I guess to throw it back. Insted her fingers are burnt and shredded, what is left of them. She? then ran towards the officers for some reason, whipped her hat off and screaming. What did she think would happen? A nerf grenade? Why? They are all idiots. I have another issue: the F word used every other word. Like it is going to wound ICE officers. I am not offended but I think it is also lame in that it is used so often people are immune. Same with the brave "soldiers of peace" putting their gloved middle finger in officer's faces. Oh, yes! That will make them lay down and submit. The collective IQ of these crowds is maybe pushing 100...all of them combined. Where are the Somolian protesters, eh? (I said eh like I am from Canada of MN). I am disgusted with them all. I am also disgusted that charges are dropped against the church invaders and Lemon. What did Trump tell Pedomouth Walz to suddenly have the police do their jobs? If my daughter brings up the "ICE executions" to me, I'm going to assign her a task
1. Find the video of Ashli Babbitt being shot on J6. 2. Do a slow-motion frame by frame viewing of it and to detect where any lethal force of climbing through a window unarmed almost killed Officer Byrd. Outside of Joe Scarborough's lame "She was in the army, where they train like commandos, with registered lethal hands and stuff!". I'll ask her if she saw a concealed toe blade deployed. As much as I don't like to get political on my X stream, the contrast is too stark to care. It's not going to be a matter of "who deserves being dead", but just to point out that a not-too-well trained Officer Byrd was reprimanded for leaving his gun in a bathroom once. And did far more what looks like an execution than what happened to Pretti (until he was down). I've already anticipated "She shouldn't have been there." You know, as if we can't say Pretti should not have been closing in on ICE agents, when he had been told to stay back. Both were approaching officers, and we can't even talk about when Babbitt was disarmed or what she was carrying where and whether she was in compliance. Whig would be a better source for this question but I would think they'd try for somewhere not in downtown Minneapolis if possible. I worked for a company based in Minnesotat a few years ago and like most states when you outside the blue metro areas controlled by Democrats you see much more normal and reasonable people. Last night the cops were actually assisting and aiding ICE in Minnesota. The part that isn't Minneapolis. But in any case the enemy is on the other side not our side. We are seeing leftist activist judges across the country make outrageous ruling and overstepping their authority routinely. They are no different that woke Democrats in Congress. That's the enemy. The 670-ish lower courts currently function as a distributed denial of service attack force against the 9 Supreme Court Justices. Or, more accurately, against between 2 and 6 of the Supreme Court Justices.
All SCOTUS can do is overturn the fraudulent lower court rulings one at a time. And that only after a significant amount of time and effort. The lower courts constantly refuse to apply SCOTUS rulings to future cases. They absolutely can do that. They have done that. They will continue to do that until such time as the real boss of the lower courts fires a bunch of them for cause. There is every reason to expect that Congress will continue to never do so. Perhaps the President can arrest and prosecute a bunch of them for sedition or conspiracy. Posted by: Tar Bae at January 27, 2026 02:52 PM (tH3Vp) 331
"prior administrations deported millions of people, and riots were basically nonexistent"
Did they? I have long questioned how real any of the deportations were under Democrap presidents, and especially under Obama. I very strongly suspect it was all an op to con the rubes. In fact, I would bet money on it. Posted by: Judge Elric The Blade at January 27, 2026 01:47 PM (iFTx/) ******* As I understand / remember it, back when Obama was president, he needed/wanted to beat back Republican accusations that he was soft on illegal immigration. (Hint...he was soft on illegal immigration.) So what he did, to tbeef up his reputation, was to re-classify border apprehensions. In the past, if you got stopped at the border, and sent back to Mexico, that didn't count as a deportation. Only if you made it to the interior, and then got picked up and sent back to Mexico, would that count as a deportation. So, he just reclassified those who got picked up at the border and sent back to Mexico as deportations. And Viola! Obama was able to portray himself as a law and order guy to beat back negative Republican portrayals of him. Ironically, it worked so well.. Shut up and listen. You will round up all the illegal felons on the list and hold them for ICE. You will do this because of the felony murder rule applies to your conspiracy against the United States. You will do this, because of what else is coming. You will do this because I have the power to pardon you. And the first step to that pardon is to do this now. You will recieve additional instructions once this task is complete. Posted by: Smell the Glove at January 27, 2026 02:44 PM (IDEQi) --- I saw video of a very professional encounter between ICE and neighbors. The Karens in the crowd were all huffy "I'm going to record this on my PHONE!". The officer that seemed to be in charge was pleasant and said "Recording is not a problem,". And then, pointing several cars along the street back, he said, "But I'm going to need you to stay behind that white car. Videotaping is not a problem, but you have to clear the area." So, I compare that to the observation that Pretti was told at least once that he was too close, and needed to put some distance. So, it kinda sounds like a case where standing too close to ICE officers after they have told you to step back is tantamount to obstruction. Not a lawyer so I don't know these things. But once Pretti's obstructing, putting their hands on him for "just videotaping with his First Amendment Rights" is reasonable. Posted by: Axeman at January 27, 2026 02:55 PM (krQz2) 337

The Biden administration didn't just let millions of illegals into the country, they purposefly flew them all over the country to create the scenario we are seeing play out now. It's a hell of a lot harder to deport them from the interior, particulalry whem they are sent to sanctuary cities and states with activist judges. That was all part of the plan. Regarding nursing strikes...I could not do it.
When I was a new grad, a friend and classmate (who is one of the biggest liberals I now know) wanted to unionize. She came to me for a vote & I told her I could not, if assigned that day, not work & abandon patients. She was not pleased & I did not care. It came to a 3 way vote: Vote for her little union Vote for ACLU (I was horrified) NO's won She was maybe a "real nurse" as a charge RN like me for six months. After this tango, the nursing administration put her as VP or something of nursing (I can't remember). Sort of a bribe to shut her up. She went on for her MS in nursing and to bigger things. She was very smart, or at least very well spoken. She's gone "far" in her career while I just worked jobs that I liked (always part time) and raised our chimps to be good men. I had fun and was never career focused, altho jobs were created for me as I was smart, dedicated, and can talk to anyone. I can even be charming if needed, which I know is a shock! I think this person may still be working as I don't know. When I could read her twitter stuff it was obvious she was a radical Dim loon. I could see her protesting.
