The following is from our dear friend & 'Ette, Bluebell.
AoSHQ Weekly Prayer List Please submit any prayer requests to me, “Annie’s Stew” at apaslo at-sign hotmail dot com. Prayer requests are generally removed after four weeks unless we receive an update. Prayer Requests: 11/15 – Sponge posted an update on the “First lady”. She is doing OK from the surgery pain-wise, however it appears her compromised immune system from chemo is susceptible to viruses. She has been spiking a fever all weekend.
12/13 Update – The First lady is doing well. She is still on restrictions but things are progressing nicely. The last mammogram showed clean. They are grateful to all who have been praying for her.
1/7 Update – They send thanks for the thoughts and prayers over the past year. The latest visit with her urologist revealed blood in her urine. The Doc didn’t seem concerned, but there will be more scans of her bladder and kidneys to see if they find anything more serious.
1/14 Update – Sponge sent an update on the First Lady’s father – he passed away on 1/11. They have been busy making arrangements for the arrangements, writing the obituary, eulogy, notifying people, etc. Thank you all for the thoughts an prayers that you have been providing for a long time. 12/20 – Morgan, longtime lurker, takes tango lessons from Sebastian, whose son, Matias, is recovering from brain surgery. The MRI was read on 12/19, and the surgeons did not remove the entire tumor. Even though the biopsy indicated the tumor was benign, the boy is probably facing several rounds of chemo. Please pray for the boy’s continued recovery in El Salvador.
1/10 Update – Matias will have surgery in 2 weeks to try and remove the rest of the tumor, and then he will receive radiation therapy. 12/27 – buzzion asked for prayers for a friend named Christina. Christina has struggled with a lot, including addiction and relapse. Buzzion has not heard from Christina in a while and hopes she is okay. Please pray that Christina finds her way and knows that people love and care for her and believe in her.
1/3 Update – Christina was arrested on 1/3. Please pray for this to be a final wake-up call for her. 12/27 – JB asked for prayers that he would gain peace about what God has planned for his job in 2026. Also, please pray for JB’s estranged son, that he and his household will be saved. 12/27 – San Franpsycho posted a praise report from a former colleague, who has defeated metastasized uterine cancer. 12/27 – BlackOrchid requested prayers for a Navy Veteran uncle who has been struggling with his health the last few weeks. The root cause is undetermined, but recurrent infection/sepsis keeps sending him back to the hospital. It seems to be worsening his dementia, which makes it harder for BlackOrchid’s aunt to handle him.
1/3 Update – BlackOrchid’s uncle (her “stand-in dad”is still not doing well. He will probably need to be put in a LTC facility although they are doing everything possible to avoid this. He is 86, and at the stage where his immune system can’t fight back well. 12/27 – pookysgirl posted that their unborn baby girl, Violet Marie, had passed away. 12/27 – free tibet posted about his diagnosis with Giant Cell Arteritis and subsequent vision loss in the right eye. This is a recurrence of the same from 5 years ago in the left eye. The treatment is not painful but regaining vision is “very iffy”. Thank you all for the prayers. 1/1 – L asked for prayers for her brother Ron, who is hospitalized. Ron has been in and out of the hospital for 6 months. He has a nasty infection in his knee, that will not clear, despite 5 rounds of antibiotics. L and her sister have been run ragged trying to help Ron. 1/3 – Legally Sufficient asked for prayers for the repose of the soul of a boss, who passed away suddenly early Sunday morning. Prayers are appreciated for strength, faith, and understanding for the boss’ wife and all who loved him. 1/6 – Diogenes requested prayers for his best friend since college, who was diagnosed with cancer. Within hours or hearing this, the friend’s son, a man that Diogenes has known since he was a baby, collapsed from what appears to be a brain tumor. The prognosis isn’t hopeful. Please pray for both of these fine men. 1/6 – Commissar of plenty and festive little hats sent prayers of thanks that it was not cancer, and asked for prayers for courage to even set a date to reverse the colostomy surgery. It was a lot to get over the first time! 1/7 - D sent an update on his wife Susan, and her battle with pancreatic cancer, as well as her recent infection. He sent his thanks to everyone for the prayers. They are helping and much appreciated. Susan’s infection finally has been healed, so she was able to resume chemo. It’s been really rough. 1/8 - Doof asked for prayers for his mother. She was hit hard by the flu. She couldn’t get out of bed the morning of 11/8 and was sent by ambulance to the hospital. She is alert and communicating but prayers are appreciated for her recovery. Prayers are also appreciated for Doof, as he absolutely despises hospitals. 1/10 – LA Sue asked for prayers for her brother, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in September. They just learned it moved from stage 2 to stage 4. The chemo treatments and side infections from surgery have so debilitated him that he is considering stopping. Please pray for strength and that he opens his heart to God.
1/18 Update – LA Sue is taking her brother to hospice. He is fading. 1/15 – Sharkman posted on behalf of Niederemeyer’s Dead Horse that NDH was given a prognosis of 6 months to live due to heart failure. The plan is for NDH to move into the Mayo Clinic to receive treatment and wait for a transplant. 1/17 – Emmie asked for prayers. She and her husband are on the verge of foreclosure. Their side hustle of delivery driving ended when a young driver crashed into their car and totaled it. They aren’t able to make the mortgage payments without that extra income. Their church is helping, but it’s a small church. 1/18 – Teresa in Fort Worth sent an update. She had surgery on 12/11, and a pump was installed that will direct medication into the hepatic artery. This will allow a much larger concentration of medication to be applied directly into her liver. This should give fewer side effects and (hopefully) shrink the tumors. It will take several months before they know if this new medication is working, but if it does, they are hoping for an extra 2-3 years before the disease progresses again. 1/19 – NR Pax requested prayers for his father, who had a stroke on 12/23. Dad is recovering at home, and Mom is caring for him. NR Pax is thankful that they live in a good retirement community, but it will be rough for them for a bit. 1/20 – Inogame asked for prayers. His wife and baby girl (due in February) are healthy, but some bad luck has come to their family. The business they purchased a year ago has taken an abrupt turn and they are trying to understand what is happening. They may not be able to keep their home if they cannot discover and correct the problem. This stress and what it might mean postpartum is worrying them. Thank you all for your prayers in the past. 1/20 – MkY sent an update on his wife Judy, who was diagnosed with Stage IV renal cancer last January. Despite being unable to receive her cancer drugs for 3 months while her port infection healed up, the tumors did not grow and she is feeling strong. Thanks so much for all the prayers! Last week, MkY was diagnosed with fluid on the brain. They operated the same day. They drilled two holes in his skull, inserted tubes, and had him lay flat on his back for 2 days. MkY thanks God for the modern miracles of medicine. He needs to heal quickly since he operates a small business. So far, no complications. I haven't seen anything from the Archdiocese saying the Sunday Obligation has been lifted because of the weather. Since the roads are forecast to be icy tomorrow morning, I'll be going to Vigil Mass this afternoon at my local parish up the road.

A battery charger will pay for itself many times over. I find the old school special needs chargers are actually better in some ways than the talented & gifted chargers.
Alternators are not really suitable to recharge the battery anyway, it is hard on them.

I have four Battery Tender Plus 12V 1.25 AMP maintainers. One on the mower, generator, atv & SxS. Keeps the batteries topped off and trickle charges when necessary.

I tried to use it on my generator, but the pigtail on the battery for some reason wont work with the one on the Battery Tender. The red and green lights just blink alternately.

There is no benefit to starting an engine in cold weather if you’re not going to drive it. It is important to keep the battery fully charged. Before cold weather hits. I’m not trying to argue or judge here, this is my considered opinion.

I don't like doing that too. And i need to put a tender on *both motorcycles since they won't get ridden for a few weeks. Shash's car gets driven enough to not worry about the battery, but my car couod use a good nap with the charger this weekend.
*I don't wanna pull my car out, just to be able to hook a tender up on my bike.

Thank you. When I was flying home, my brother's company flew him out there and he stayed for the week. Which is good because doctors are assholes and he's been a nurse for a few decades and knows how to work the system.
I think the flu has passed but he's still dealing with everything else.

The best tater tots are Kroger brand tater rounds. They are flat, like a hash brown, so they get crispier. And they have a better flavor than Ore-Ida. I think they must have some onion in them.

BUT - here's my thing, we try to go out even in the dark winter, hike, do stuff, not just sit in the house... but it's hard.
I don't have THAT many years left when I'm being honest. I don't want to sit thru three months of basically hibernation every year anymore. I want to be able to be active out of doors more! I want a clear sky!

Agreed. Also, I have seen a lot of posts recently of conservatives as well as conservative speakers and politicians connecting the Democrats to the population replacement in the U.S.A. and explaining it as the Democrats' ticket to guaranteed election victories.
I know the U.S.A. focus has to be stated, but I think the bigger picture is that this is not the Democrats' plan, but the WEF plan for all western nations. Which is obvious when you see almost every western nation has been doing the same thing as the Democrats in the U.S.A. for the past 2+ decades. Canada, UK, France, Australia, most of Europe in general.
And of course Newsome is a WEF Young Global Leader. So he's executing the WEF plan as ordered.

The hole where my molar used to be is coming along nicely. I'm nibbling some toast without any problem. The bad tooth had already gotten me used to using one side to chew, so it's not much of a reach.
Youngest has jaw surgery coming up in February. This is many years in the making and should correct her bite and ease the pain in her jaw and ears. She's not looking forward to a liquid diet, but is looking forward to the pain relief.
Prayers are always appreciated and based on what we've been through, I know they are efficacious.

This new kitty I have is now over 11 lbs at almost 10 months old. He is sleeping at my feet now. He has started jumping the other cats which they don't appreciate. He's trying to play with them but they want nothing to do with him. The dog will play with him but he's bigger and can get rough so it doesn't last long.

I have been on one of those on the slope. It is hard to imagine, but these are huge tracked vehicles with a drilling rig mounted on them. Think of a small offshore rig moving across the tundra on tracks. It is efficient, considering there are no roads, no fences, no trees, just a massive swamp that is frozen nine months of the year.

The only Fern I have known in real life was Fern G_____. She was the secretary at the high school I attended in the 70s. I wish I could remember where I heard/saw it, but the story was they would arrive at the Epstein ranch in New Mexico. They'd put on western wear, then pick out the girls they wanted to ride.

I live in a beach community in Calif. When we bought lo' those many years ago, the realtors all said 'you want to be south of Garfield' - wife and I thought 'how can that make sense' but it really does - once I get past Garfield going south - meaning toward the ocean - can watch the temps drop on the car's outside temp readout.

I remember years ago, heading south on the 1, approaching San Francissy. The temp gauge, which started around 105, dipped into the 50s as we approached the city, then as we kept going south toward Monterey, it quickly jump back over 100.

Yep. Rommel was defeated in North Africa because of enigma. The Allies knew when and where his supply ships were going and always just happened to have a recon flying boat "see" them. Lack of resupply is what killed the Africa Korp.

If I remember that scene correctly, one of the people involved in the fight/discussion had a family member in the convoy. So not saving the convoy meant that the family member would certainly die. But saving the convoy risked revealing to the enemy that the code had been broken.

Not always. Possibly more often than not, but it's probably close to 50/50 either way.
I've never see a couple try therapy who wasn't HOPING to save the marriage, but sometimes what they need more than anything is clarity.

Watched (what I felt was) a great 2-hour documentary on the Titanic called Titanic's Final Mystery where the gentleman did a ton of research into the weather conditions that night and the main fault of why the lookouts did not see the iceberg in time was because of a mirage. Similar to seeing water mirages in the desert. But in this case, the horizon was lifted above the height of the iceberg, so it was impossible to see.
There was a lot more great research and studies done into the happenings of that night, but seeing that really convinced me that Titanic was just a freak accident, rather than the fault of the captain or the lookouts, etc. as history seems to blame.
Now, the decision to not fill up the rescue boats is another story.

The Jew said the reason for the rise on European anti semitism right wing white men are afraid of immigrant Muslims and are taking it out on Jews. I was going to say the same thing, it's far past time for this to happen.
But agreed, my worry is that the UK tyrants crack down hard on these people, just like Canada tyrants did to Canadians who tried to fight back against the tyranny there.
Unfortunately, I think that will happen in the UK as well. The crack-down will be major and intended to put enough fear into the populace that no one else will dare protest again.
This is a tipping point I think. The tyrants in charge of the UK have no intention of backing down unless they are violently forced to do so. They need to overthrow the UK government as much as those in Iran need to overthrow the Iranian government.

And that's the issue in UK and Europe overall. There is absolutely no one in a position of power or influence who is on the side of the UK or any western nations in Europe. Everyone in power, in media, in every institution there is on the side of the WEF and tyranny and population replacement.
It's downright scary. And even scarier that is has been happening here in the U.S.A. as well and the only thing saving us from becoming what Europe already has become is the Trump Administration. The Uniparty and every institution in the U.S.A. are on the side of the WEF as well.
