For fans of van Gogh... There is an animated movie called Loving Vincent. They animated his paintings. Dozens of artists worked for years to create a movie that looks like it was painted by VvG. It's a neat little investigation into his death with some suggesting that he was murdered and an investigator talking to the people who saw him last. The animation is interesting. I think it's good to show that Impressionist artists in particular with their idiosyncratic style weren't just some shmoes throwing swirly crap or dots or whatever on their canvases, but instead were classically trained artists who purposefully used those classical skills to paint something new (at the time) and different. Right now, Trump is losing the midterms. But I strongly believe he can turn this around, by getting out of Washington and trumpeting this economic message.
Cut a deal with Iran, and get it off your plate Mr. President. Then start "Bully Pulpiting" all over America. Economically, as this starts to be felt by Americans, the House will shape up probably around +10. At this point on the economy, you've done what you can do to move it. Not to get everyone to watch the video, that's 1st to 3rd level. But they got that under control. Dallas county and Tarrant county (Ft.Worth) are like one big city now. And the counties around them are growing with even more suburbs.

His early work is really impressive, more so to me, but he maintained his style and ability to mix vibrant color in whatever the subject he painted. Paging Buck Throckmorton:
The company said Friday that it would take charges of more than $26 billion, the bulk of which includes write-offs and cash payments for canceled EV products and costs of resizing its EV supply chain... The announcement sent Stellantis (STLA) shares crashing. They fell as much as 30%. The strategy revision follows similar — and expensive — actions from Ford and General Motors in recent weeks... Many carmakers in the United States had invested heavily in EV plans in response to strict environmental regulations put in place by the Biden administration... But the Trump administration has rolled back those emissions rules along with financial support for EVs. It is also challenging states’ authority to set their own tougher rules. Commenting on the charges of €22.2 billion ($26.2 billion), Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa said they “largely reflect the cost of over-estimating the pace of the energy transition.” The company also said in a statement that the shift to EVs “needs to be governed by demand rather than command.” No s***, Sherlock. https://is.gd/UovXP6 Posted by: Archimedes at February 09, 2026 10:42 AM (Riz8t) 245

Cosmo Kramer: But they do. And they're the ones writing it off. Posted by: Biff Pocoroba at February 09, 2026 11:03 AM (XvL8K) 307
