Posted by: weft cut-loop at January 15, 2026 07:33 PM (mlg/3) It requires changing the pH of the lens temporarily and trickling a charge across it using a metal form that fits like a contact lens. Unfortunately, last I heard it was something only done on rabbit eyes and after they had been removed from the dead rabbits. I wonder if it could be used to clear up cataracts as well. "The State Department has now revoked over 100,000 visas, including some 8,000 student visas and 2,500 specialized visas for individuals who had encounters with U.S. law enforcement for criminal activity. We will continue to deport these thugs to keep America safe," the department said in a post on X. The four leading causes for revocations were overstays, driving under the influence, assault and theft, State Department deputy spokesperson Tommy Pigott said. The revocations marked a 150% increase from 2024, he added. The State Department has also launched a Continuous Vetting Center aimed at ensuring "all foreign nationals on American soil comply with our laws — and that the visas of those who pose a threat to American citizens are swiftly revoked," Pigott said. In November, the State Department said it had revoked around 80,000 non-immigrant visas since Trump's inauguration on January 20, 2025, for offenses ranging from driving under the influence to assault and theft." One time I was traveling West mostly through I40 during the winter in the snow and I probably saw dozens of wrecks occur right by me like that first video. When I finally got to a hotel I, for real, peeled my hands off the steering wheel because I had it in a death grip.
The worst was traveling up I75 to work and two separate times a contractor truck had ladders fly off. The first time a ladder came at me, it popped into sliding a-frame mode, I just barely get away, then the idiot in the truck starts careening over, and I just slip between him and the sliding ladder. The second time an aluminum step ladder flies off, a car in front of me clips it, the ladder flies up and is hovering/spinning and I drive my car keanu/matrix style under/around the metal vortex of death. "Hi friends. This was two months ago, and I can now, with plans in place, share what's been happening. November 6 was the day that I had to inform my daughter that I'd been given a prognosis of six months to live. It came as one hell of a shock to me. It's a long sordid tale of heart failure and sudden decline. The plan now is for me to move into the Mayo Clinic, next Wednesday, with no determination as to when I may leave. The first step is to install an Impella heart pump to keep me alive until a heart becomes available. It could be a matter of weeks, it could be three months, it could be six months, and I will be in 24/7 residence in the transplant ward at Mayo until then. I'm not even certain if i'm allowed to leave the ward to wander about the hospital or go sit outside in a courtyard. It stinks, but it's better than the alternative, which would have come on more quickly than they originally diagnosed. It's been one hell of a process and, the current reality is that things are going to get rough before they get better, but there's hope for a brighter future ahead." Prayers up for NDH. I saw today some people advocating for Thomas Sowell to get the Medal of Freedom. I agree. But they were talking about his "dignity," and that didn't seem quite right as the way to characterize him and his work.
He's a firebrand, a Man On Fire, an impassioned radical for reason. You can see it more easily in his early appearances on video, and once you see it, it's pretty easy to still see it in his interviews at an advanced age. Viktor Suvorov had an entire chapter on USSR Special Forces using shovels as weapons.
The Russian soldier with his short-handled shovel is an iconic i.m.age, like a Tommy with his Lee-Enfield or a GI with his 1911. I bought an American-made copy. It came with a sharpened edge. I spent a couple of minutes with it, attacking a big cardboard box. Let's just say if I encountered a Rooskie swinging one, I would be very thankful to have a 1911 on me. Concur. The Liberators was an illuminating book. Funny in a sad way. The culture of a Communist Army is toxic. Note that the entire Army was becoming politically unreliable, and was pulled out of Czechoslovakia. I imagine the North Koreans from The Russian Front are finding out the same thing. If we had a *courageous* house and senate, Minnesota would have already been solved. Instead, we have only a mathematical house and senate, and the math must continue to factor in that at least 20 percent of "our" side isn't really on our side.
Trump needs to *bury* that 20 percent politically. Posted by: Crusader at January 15, 2026 09:20 PM (Cjcf6) 189

So, it turns out, Sinema was kind of an out of control, man hungry, sex fiend. There's a lawsuit from the wife of one of her security guys who's suing because Sinema stole her hubby. I guess she was using her security team as a kind of stud ranch. Also screwing the rest of the guys on her staff. Pretty much an insatiable gal. She kind of had the look of it though.
