Antifa Destroys a German Power Station While the Country Is Experiencing 19 Degree F Winter, and the World Media Gives No Effs

Leftist violence is always minimized, excused, or justified by the left.

At least these terrorists are terrorizing us to move in the right direction.

Right?

A fire was deliberately set to destroy the massive electrical cables that are part of a 'heat and electrical power station' near Berlin. As ghastly an act as it was, there has been little public press about it because it wasn't Islamic terrorists or those vile 'right-wing' types at long last unleashing the supposed hell the Left has been warning about.

None of the above.

It was a Leftist eco-terrorist group trying deliberately to murder people in the depths of an unforgiving winter by 'cutting the juice to the ruling class.'

Oh. Well, it seems the German authorities think that's cool, then.

...

According to Stromnetz Berlin, the operator of Berlin's electricity network, power was cut to as many as 45,000 households and more than 2,000 businesses across four districts in south Berlin.

The power outage also meant many homes lost heating and hot water as temperatures dropped well below freezing in Berlin.

...In a lengthy statement circulated online and called credible by police, the Vulkangruppe said it had deliberately targeted affluent neighborhoods, to "cut the juice to the ruling class."

Andy Ngo
@MrAndyNgo

Correct. The Antifa-linked group cut off power to tens of thousands of homes as temperatures drop below freezing in Berlin. These stories running cover for the violent far-left are similar to how the "Turtle Island" trans, antifa terrorist suspects in CA were called "activists." They;re accused of planning bombings over New Year's Eve.

BTW, "Turtle Island" is apparently left-wing code for "America." I think it's like an old Indian name or something. They say "Turtle Island" to dispute that a country called "America" exists, or should be allowed to exist.

Speaking of: There's a trollish notion going around that because Canada keeps "acknowledging" that they stole the land from the "First Nations" Indians so the Indians really own it, Trump is going to offer the "First Nations" a cash payment for all of Canada, so we'll just own it.

T.D. Leaker
@TdLeaker

‼️‼️🚨🚨BREAKING: SOURCES SAY AFTER LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS AND COURT RULINGS THE TRUMP ADMIN IS WORKING ON A PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND REPARATIONS PACKAGE TO PURCHASE CANADA FROM FIRST NATIONS.

Unrelated: As Trump rolls up the world's tyrannies, Marco Rubio finds out that he is now King of Iran, El Jefe of Venezuela, Governor of Minnesota, CEO of Hilton, and now, Top Landlord of Canada.

Will his duties never end?

Infrastructure attack is real, full-on "act of war" territory. That isn't typical "terrorism," which tends to target people as such for the purpose of causing, well, terror.

A coordinated infrastructure attack is in a different category. The proper response to that is military.

I don't feel badly for the illegals from Africa probably freaking out freezing and should self deport. Of course they may be taken care of by their host country. I base this on seeing how the UK treats their little illegal stinky migrants vs their own people who are hungry and without homes.

I am certain if this ever happened in the USA it would be corrected toot sweet. Based on how DeSantis solves problems as well as President Trump, with infrastructure and the get'er done mentality, our military, etc.

Trying to think of one positive thing about Germany and nothing much comes to mind. Maybe Sauerbraten and beer gardens and Octoberfest. I hate hearing their language.

I really liked him when I voted for him as a Senator in FL. We kept in touch with me sending irate and angry emails of illegals. He'd reply with a form letter and later an email wanting funds. I'd reply something else and this went on for years, our friendship and briefly followed me out West.

I think he is doing an outstanding job as Sec of State. The others should be jealous as this is how it's done vs pandering. Looking at you, Hil Hag and Horse Face Kerry (saw a photo of him yesterday at the Kennedy funeral and he looks rough).

I think he laughs at the memes along with VP Vance and President Trump. What a great year we've had and a brand new one to tick off Dims! I note I did not get a Christmas card from my friends who are Dims and don't wonder why.

I HATE non-German actors speaking German! It's always gutteral and harsh. Native German speakers soften the consonants, they flow prettily to my ear. But then I'm also partial to it.

Tarantino is an indulgent director, but one of my fave scenes of his is in Inglourious Basterds when a german-speaking scene in the bar is going on, and on, and on...I realized he actually hired German actors who get to speak German with the actual correct hochdeutsch accent! I had electric heat in a home about 30 years ago (a heat pump); on paper it's much more efficient, but in reality it sucked, as the heat pump could only make up about a 30 degree delta between outside and inside temps, then it had to add "emergency" heat (i.e., resistive heating elements). Never worked as well as a gas heat system. Your mileage may differ...

Posted by: Anna Puma
------------------
Posit:

1. Back before/during Kyoto Accord negotiations, the Europeans, and mostly the Germans, were very explicit that the whole point of "global warming" propaganda was to hobble the US economy.

2. German cut deal with Russia, and their plan was to divide the continent (again) with Russia supplying energy and Germany distribution and production capacity

3. They also planned for the energy to bypass Poland -- keeping them out of the manufacturing fight and under Moscow's thumb, and Ukraine as part of Moscow corruption empire so Moscow could control that energy and not undercut the German-Moscow "pact" or energy cartel.

4. This was a pushback from the "Russia out, Germany down, USA in" plan that defined the Cold War where they now wanted "Russia in, Germany on top, and USA out."

Me neither. But I can say that about multiple people. Vance is great. Bessent is crushing it. Hegseth is a surprise. Burgum is doing great. Sean Duffy is a pleasant surprise. Chris wright is great. Kristi Noem has done much better than expected. Lee Zeldin is destined for great things.

Let downs? The rest are fine. Not a fan of RFK Jr. Pam Bondi seems a bit confused. But the range is great to just good. Not horrendous to just awful under Biden.

352 Yeah, I think it's a garbled translation. If people left the pumps on, and the power is brought on line, the draw could trigger another shutdown, I guess.

Depends on the type of heat pump, some mini-splits can handle a much lower outside temperature before kicking on the auxiliary heat, for 2 ton+ units, the better units start the auxiliary heat in the lower 20s.

Its the combination of the heat pump compressors AND the auxiliary heat if electric strips @ approx 8000W where the grid is in trouble.

Regardless, if the thermostat is set ten degrees more than the internal temperature, the auxiliary kicks in to get temperatures up quickly.

The retards that think that capacity doesn't need to grow because heat-pumps use much less energy than straight up electric heat systems never seem to consider outside temperatures that fall outside the range heat pumps operate.

My absolute dream is for a "bro campaign", where they campaign together, TV debates every week, live events, charity fund raisers, make a whole thing of it. They can have fun, almost podcast like events where they talk about where they differ, where they're the same, what they'd do the same as Trump, or different, what it was like working together, and then whoever loses the Primary gets to be VP.

That ticket would win 70% of the vote, whoever got on top.

394 I just researched this Berlin sabotage story. The facility that was attacked is a "power and heat" facility but the saboteurs claim they only sabotaged the power portion.

The "heat" here means a "district heating" system, where a central facility supplies heat (by pumping heated water, or in older systems by sending steam). Say you have a giant coal power plant to make electricity: it's a double win if you collect heat from that and people can heat their homes with the heat, instead of using electricity for the heat.

District heating is rare in the US but does exist in places like New York City.

I learned about district heating when I saw news stories about new "sand batteries" which store heat rather than electricity. Make a big insulated container, put heating elements into it, and fill it with sand. When the wind is blowing and power is really cheap, run the heating elements. Then when it's cold use this as a heat source for district heating.
