Guess who just had this Solid Citizen on his podcast to spread his lies about drug- and murder-crazy soldiers? That's right, of course, unregistered foreign agent Tucker Carlson.

One of those totally-legitimate taxpayer-funded daycare services made so much money from babysitting -- you know, like a 13 year old girl's job -- that they bought a $93,250 Porsche, paid in full with a single check.

Some Democrats, including the Democrat activists at the Politico knock-off Axios, aren't sure Democrats should support tyrannical narcoterrorists just to reflexively oppose Trump.

Some Democrats are grumbling at their party's largely oppositional stance to President Trump's raid to capture Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, saying privately that their colleagues should be celebrating.
Why it matters: These lawmakers argue it could be a major political miscalculation if the party fails to applaud the downfall of a brutal dictator with sufficient volume, even given grave concerns about the operation's legality and longer-term ramifications.
Party leaders have raged at Trump for bypassing Congress and leaving them in the dark about the operation to capture Maduro, which involved striking several military targets in Venezuela's capital city.
And many rank-and-file lawmakers, buoyed by polling that shows Americans largely oppose a protracted intervention in Venezuela, have also seized on Trump's comments that the U.S. will temporarily "run" the country.
Some centrists and battleground-district members -- who spoke to Axios on the condition of anonymity to offer candid criticisms of their party's messaging -- have a different view.
What we're hearing: One swing-district House Democrat told Axios in a text message on Saturday, "Nuance is dead in politics."
"Maduro is bad, glad he is gone ... You can't have it both ways," the lawmaker said, venting that "everything Trump touches must be bad according to the base."
Another vulnerable House Democrat told Axios in a phone interview: "As Democrats we can't just condemn what happened ... I wish the Democratic Party would be a little bit more measured on this."
"I think it looks weak," a third centrist House Democrat said. "If you don't acknowledge when there is a win for our country, then you lose all credibility."
Between the lines: It's not just about politics. The second lawmaker who spoke to Axios noted that Democrats widely condemned Venezuela's sham elections last year and have long advocated for democracy abroad.
"What happened to when they had the election and Maduro stole the election? There were Democrats condemning that," the House Democrat said.
"Have we forgotten what's happened ... in that country?"
The third House Democrat told Axios they were surprised "how negative the response has been" from their colleagues.

Boasberg alert: He wants to return all of the deported Venezuelan gangsters and drug-dealers back to the US.

The DOJ said that the extension is necessary because the military operation over the weekend has led to "substantial changes" in the country

The Justice Department requested a week-long delay of a court deadline to return deported Venezuelans to the United States after the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in a U.S. military operation.
The DOJ is facing a Monday deadline from U.S. District Judge James Boasberg to either "facilitate the return" of the deported Venezuelan nationals to the U.S. or "otherwise provide them with hearings that satisfy the requirements of due process," the Washington Examiner reported.

A Venezuelan says that 'international law' didn't care when Maduro imprisoned him and tortured him, so he doesn't think 'international law" should protect his torturer, Maduro, either.

They got the numbers off of places like Facebook, and that was the main reason we were told to get off social media RIGHT TF NOW. I think his relationship with Max Blumenthal and Anya Parampil is a key. Those two seem to have really shifted his foreign policy thinking. That would interesting, but I think it will be more interesting on the border states local level. I wouldn't be surprised to see Arizona (Maricopa County) and various locations in New Mexico pop up. There was even a Judge down there that had Venezuelan illegal immigrants living in his house. And every time the automatic transmission threw a gear change, there was a loud clank. Was less than favorably impressed. I though Honda made smooth-running, quiet, refined vehicles. The south american papers (the conservative ones at least) and apparently one Israeli spokesman are accusing Venezuela as being part of of a money laundering system for Iran and Hamas. They were also part of "Obscuring the origin" of embargoed Iranian oil which also goes to continuation of Iran.
That much money sloshing around also seems to lead to bribing US legislators for some reason, and there are accusations of that as well.

that is how Venezuela got into the state it is in today. there was too much money in playing along, and too much support given to continuing things as they had been. Colombia is the same, I heard a talk by ex President Alvaro Uribe warning that Colombia is set to go the same path as Venezuela because of the drug gangs and terror groups who are apparently facilitated by the current president who needs them to rule.

t would have to be REALLY early, like 1934. By the time the US was involved in the war, Hitler was actually a liability to Germany. Without him, the horrors would have been multiplied, I fear. I doubt they would have invaded the Soviet Union, for instance. I believe they would have started using chemical weapons. They would have had better strategic goals, instead of punishing Britain for annoying Hitler they might have pushed into the Middle East instead.

I have multi level disc degeneration because of having psoriatic arthritis for the last 12 years or so. Covid and and a forced change of medicine made things much worse in the last several year.

I have failing and herniated discs in my lumbar (all but one now) with some neuropathy affecting the legs. I have one failing disc in my thoracic, and three in my lower cervical which has caused a severe loss of strength and coordination in both arms, considerable pain, etc. over the last year. Finally insurance considers it bad enough to pay for the surgery.

Elbow cubital release on lh plus trigger finger release. Transposition of nerve at elbow and carpal tunnel on my right hand in the last three years. All the remaining and worsening neuropathy now is solely from my cervical region. And the beginnings of ankylosing spondylitis.

Facing a knee replacement too.

Plus lumbar nerve ablation again after all of this.

Had to retire because of all these problems as I don't sleep well and refuse to be drugged out of my mind.

My medical file reads like War and Peace in length. 600 pages just from my orthopedists not counting imaging.

I believe it comes under 'checks and balances'. The president is still answerable to Congress and to the voters. It may take a while, but things will eventually sort themselves out.

My wife started this last spring when a shaved-off mole was found to have melanoma. The next slice didn't get it all so she had surgery to remove more tissue and nearby lymph nodes. One lymph node was found to have some cancer cells making it 3rd stage melanoma. She's been getting immunotherapy infusions for the last 6 months with 6 more months to go. Intermittent CAT and PET scans have indicated that it's working.
