What a lovely, placid landscape. The colors are subdued in a comfortable way, the barn with its weathered red and the blues and greens of the hill reflected in the still lake. The buildings are a minor touch with the emphasis on the land and water. It has a sunset feel, relaxed and peaceful. It is a very effective painting that would be appropriate for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Makes me want to reach for a fishing rod.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has prepared a contingency plan to leave the country if nationwide protests intensify and security forces fail to contain them, according to an intelligence report shared with The Times. S&P daily standard deviation is about 1%. Dow is similar. So 1.3% is only a 1.3 standard deviation move.
Things get exciting at 2 standard deviations. In covid we had 10-standard deviation moves, which are essentially impossible if they're normally distributed but they're not.
