More Daycare Fraud Suspected, This Time in Washington

Via John Sexton, a citizen journalist went to the listed address of a "daycare" that's received $210,000 in federal funding this year.

But no one sees any kids enter the place, and the people at the address refuse to answer the door.

Another suspicious "daycare:"

He says that even if this fake day care really is a day care, it's only permitted to "care" for three children -- and for caring for three children, it's been paid $800,000 since 2023.

Babysittlers' club is making a mint.

Washington State's AG says he'll launch an investigation -- into the people asking if these really are daycares.

For "harassment."

And "hate."

Attorney General Nick Brown
@AGOWA

My office has received outreach from members of the Somali community after reports of home-based daycare providers being harassed and accused of fraud with little to no fact-checking.

We are in touch with the state Department of Children, Youth, and Families regarding the claims being pushed online and the harassment reported by daycare providers.

Showing up on someone's porch, threatening, or harassing them isn't an investigation. Neither is filming minors who may be in the home. This is unsafe and potentially dangerous behavior. I encourage anyone experiencing threats or harassment to either contact local law enforcement or our office's Hate Crimes & Bias Incident Hotline at 1-855-225-1010 or http://atg.wa.gov/report-hate.

If you think fraud is happening, there are appropriate measures to report and investigate. Go to DCYF's website to learn more. And where fraud is substantiated and verified by law enforcement and regulatory agencies, people should be held accountable.

Andy Ngo
@MrAndyNgo

It is the duty of journalists to visit taxpayer-funded nonprofits and businesses to investigate where you have failed. The journalists have documented their visits on camera and there is no harassing or threatening behavior. You are trying to threaten journalists by telling people to call police with false allegations of a hate crime.

Exactly. Her point is that as this level of fraud and plundering is permitted by society -- Democrats, I mean -- the pillars that hold up the country -- hard-working, honest, law-abiding Americans -- stop holding the country up.

No one wants to feel like an abused, cucked loser for doing the right thing. If the right thing is not rewarded, and the wrong thing is not punished, we'll all start doing the wrong thing, and Atlas will shrug off his burden.

And society will collapse.

Any entity of any size should have THREE levels of audit/review. The first is internal audit. The organization should have trained personnel who review records and compare the records with how policy, procedure, and internal controls say those records are to be maintained. Then there should be an accounting firm that comes in and reviews enough of the transactional records to determine whether the organizations books are reliable and accurate. Finally, there should be an outside agency that reviews the organization (unless the entity is fortunate enough to do business in a unregulated field).

Our country's leadership now largely pretends they don't understand any of this "mystical" three levels of review stuff, and shrug their shoulders when its found out that massive theft and corruption abounds.

Farah played a leading and role in the Feeding Our Future case, the largest Covid-19 fraud scheme in the United States. You are thinking of the European revolutions of 1848.
The consensus was later that it was mostly a throwing off of the decision how Europe would be run post Napoleonic wars, as adjudicated by Clemmens von Metternich in Austria, but even more it was an economic stress continent wide that made "home rule" and nationalism a better bet than being under the sway of the French, Austrians or some elector who's interests were in some other imperial capitol.
The US had invaded Mexico the previous year so we didn't participate, and the British were focused on India and the far east.

Any entity of any size should have THREE levels of audit/review. The first is internal audit. The organization should have trained personnel who review records and compare the records with how policy, procedure, and internal controls say those records are to be maintained.

This assumes that it is a legitimate organization, which everyone knows these day cares are not. Organization doesn't want to be on the up-and-up, and the funders don't want it to be discovered, thus, no audits.

Even when they do audit, it's too important to The Powers That Be to keep the grift going, so the funding is granted despite failed audits.

Zenger noted that the PA royal governor was spending outrageous amounts for his personal life and charging taxpayers to do it. Zenger was charged with seditious libel and a jury freed him despite the royal government's displeasure. Zenger's defense is that he told the truth which he did. Seditious libel used by the Crown to prosecute people for upsetting the peasants even if the allegations printed were true. Theory was it would undermine public support for the Crown.

Yes they should but even that will not work if the general culture in the US becomes that of the Turd World where casual corruption and graft is justified as everybody does it.

Sweden went through painful but successful restructuring of its welfare state in the 90's only to admit hundreds of thousands of barbarians who have no intention in not stealing everything that is not nailed down.

Denmark made a right turn and decided not to admit more barbarians and to force them to assimilate. We shall see if that is successful which I think not.

160 I saw this on X: "Norway Shrugged"

Norway's punitive taxes are driving innovators and startups away.

"Norway imposes a wealth tax that taxes unrealized gains at approximately 1% annually. Calculated on the full market value for publicly traded assets and the book value of private companies. On New Year's Eve, whatever your net worth - including illiquid assets - is subject to this tax. It doesn't matter if you're running a loss-making startup with no cash flow, if your investments have tanked after the valuation date, or even if your company has gone bankrupt—you still owe the tax.

"This creates a perverse scenario where business owners must extract dividends or sell shares every year just to cover their tax bill. With dividend and capital gains taxes at around 38%, you need to withdraw approximately 1.6 million NOK to pay a 1 million NOK wealth tax bill. You're essentially paying taxes to pay taxes, draining capital from your business without any personal financial gain."

Norway also added an "exit tax" so the smart move is to leave before you get rich.

The Powers That Be would be very satisfied if the public opprobrium was strictly limited to the Somalis. Easy to ringfence criticism by calling the critics racist, and there would be more than enough LIVs to buy their explanation and let the story die in time. BTW, I give this story one month and it will be forgotten, in light of the next grotesquerie that will inevitably come out.

Obviously, these Somalis had help from government Sherpas that received kickbacks and votes from the scheme. THESE are the people who need to go to jail most of all. If Bondi and Patel focus on them, this is what will get Trump past the midterms unscathed. That, and everything else Trump did this year that will begin to pay dividends in 2026.

Only thing that makes sense why far too many of them act the way that they do.

The elite in this country have a vast network formed in politics and elite colleges that essentially view the rest of the population as unworthy peasants. These elites justify their legal and illegal theft from the rest of us because they are smarter, kinder, wiser, and better people all around than the regular folks. I think there are also reciprocal rewards in all these sort of cases. As a % of the fraud found. Some investigative minded persons could make a whole livelihood going around and identifying election and welfare fraud. You up those %, make them 20-30 % and people will turn on their own relatives.

When I worked at UPS the reward for turning in cow-orkers who were stealing was well over 100% value. Many thousands. And the system worked great. Anyone would report. Because for a college aged kid the reward money was very significant.

270 They are also transferring money interstate to other democrat candidates and get out the vote operations. This is how the democrats are funding their party.

That is one component, another one was given to us as Projection when Klaus of the WEF told us that we would own nothing and like it.

For a lot of WEF types and their minions this is true. These People Of The World do not have a real income but have access to private jets, penthouse condos, luxury yachts and seats at prominent venues that are largely underwritten by the Blob that has a myriad of holding companies, shell organizations and LLCs.

If you are a Made Man in the globalist party and want to go to Paris then NYC, you are able to use the assets of these various entities that are largely funded by NGO stolen funds.

Also, as most cartels, laundering money into holding equities and bonds is often a vector of the stolen money. I'm sure a huge chunk of the 4-20 trillion stolen over the years is a large reason why the stock market is overpriced.

Depends on what you are looking at.

I am safe. And warm. I have food in the fridge. I have a soft place To sleep at night.

I can look up and see the sky. It is not falling.
I can drink a glass of water from the tap and it will not kill me. I can walk along the sidewalk and see trees and birds and mountains and the sea. I am safe.

I can breathe clean air. I can reach out to people I love. I just brought chicken pho to my son who has the flu and visited with him for several minutes. He loves me. I love him.

Borrowing it from whom? If we borrowed trillions of dollars - where IS IT? Its not on any government accounting sheet. Go ahead, try to find an entry that says "Borrowed money". Here is a hint: when the government prints a $100 bill, that money comes out of thin air. When the government takes in money in any way, it goes back to the same thin air it came from in the first place.
