Is it remotely factual that "most crime" is committed by white men?

Well, Minnesota has a lower-than-usual black population -- 8.2% -- and yet, Ed Morrissey points out, blacks commit the overwhelming majority of murders and rapes.

It's not exactly a shock to hear Walz claim that white men commit the "majority of crime" in Minnesota. Men generally commit far more crime anyway, and over 81% of Minnesota's population is white. Black men and women account for only 8.2% of the population of the state. And yet, the crime statistics compiled by the state's Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for 2024, published two months ago in a report for the state legislature, paint a very different picture than Walz suggests -- even if Walz' comments were a deflection from the current massive scandal emerging in his administration.
For one thing, Walz' statement isn't even literally true, at least not in significant categories. When it comes to homicides in 2024, among 292 known offenders, only 43 were white; 193 were black. Of the 2,140 known rape offenders, white men comprised the plurality at 904, but 644 were black men, highly disproportionate to the state's demographics. Black robbery offenders made up 3,619 of the state's 5,040 robbery offenders in 2024. Aggravated assaults tell the same story: 4,252 black, 3,015 white. Among all arrests, whites accounted for a bare majority at 57,143, while blacks accounted for 31,163, again highly disproportionate to the state's population demographics.

Our public debt is too big to pay so it won't get paid and thus it is inflated away in a soft default.

Japan is on the very frontier of what happens when a country is over 300 percent debt to gdp. China is not far behind. And that is a reason that both countries are suffering from a drop in birthrates--life becomes more expensive for everything needed. Aging countries have more and more difficulty paying off such debts because their average worker's prime productivity years are behind them and you have a larger and larger number of elderly that cannot do much if any work.

You also have the 'float'. It came out in November and tells of a thinly disguised taxpayer funded Muslim school system in Sweden where the proprietors were skimming off welfare funds (and other accounts) and sending at least some of it back to Somalia (when they weren't going on sex trips to Thailand).

Depends, Trop v. Dulles in 1958 regarding the 8th Amendment relied upon a living constitution reading.

The Court declared that the Eighth Amendment's meaning of cruel and unusual must change over time and "must draw its meaning from the evolving standards of decency that mark the progress of a maturing society".

By the way, that was constitutional trolling by mentioning Trop v. Dulles. That is the part that court liberals do not get, if you make the words of teh Constitution unbounded from their text and historical meaning of that text, then anything is possibly constitutional.

Say what you will but back in the day before mass credit/debit cards travelers checks were the gold standard. It sure beat carrying a wad of cash and we never came across a place that would not take them in payment for anything from restaurants, hotels and stores no matter what country we were in. If you needed local cash you could go to any bank in the world and trade them in for the local currency.

They were safe and you could get them replaced if they were lost or stolen.

I like this Kid Nick Shirley, but I have an observation about the video he released on Minn. fraud. Nick was the vehicle exposing the fraud. The guy taking him door to door to the day care centers in the video is the guy who did the investigating and exposed the fraud. That person did all the heavy lifting over the past several years for the story you say presented by Nick.
