Posted by: One Is The Loneliest Number at December 23, 2025 07:25 PM (BLawi) I'd modify that and say that since color is what we see as a result of the spectrum of light, then black is the absence of light (or 0% reflective color). When using pigments for painting or print, black is a combination of all colors, but even in that case it comes out more like a very dark brown, so in CMYK printing the K stands for Black (a separate 100% black ink). As of yesterday the russkis were denying the diplo evacuation report. Dunno if that's changed, or they were fibbing to start with.
And something pretty stable like bouillon cubes, properly stored, should be good for a loooooong time. I once actually worked with the guy (there was a guy) at USDA in charge of expiration markings etc. Used the opportunity to grill him about the question of food expiration markings and it went about as expected. Dry/solid chemically stable stuff, properly stored - very long shelf life. Ditto, though shorter, for select canned goods. Posted by: rhomboid at December 23, 2025 08:09 PM (U/Byj) 187

I recommend it. Posted by: fourseasons at December 23, 2025 07:45 PM (3ek7K) The trick I learned the hard way is to make sure you tie up the roast before cooking. (Minds out of the gutter, people.) Makes it easier after cooking to get it out in one piece. Let cool. Remove string. Then slice that bad boy up. Top with au jus. Posted by: RickZ at December 23, 2025 07:50 PM (gKDq2) Bless you. We have a small grocery store chain in RI, Dave's. Best grocery stores I've ever been in, every department is stellar. They even have a seafood section that rivals local seafood shops in the area and we have a ton of those. Friends came back from the Keys unexpectedly and we are getting together for Christmas Eve dinner. I had to go grab some scallops, shrimp and stuffies and my local Dave's was insane. I always wondered about lambs and sheep.
Sheep are more valuable for the wool than the meet. I read Anne Emmerich's visions of the Last Supper. Even Jesus slit the throat but did not enjoy it. They kill lambs and roast them and eat them. It's okay. Get over it. Posted by: no one at December 23, 2025 08:23 PM (qFwJc) 214

She is famous among Catholics. She was a mystic. Her stories about the Passion are intense. She also had stories about Jesus's descent into Hell, etc, which I understand Mel Gibson will use in his next film.
The book online is "The Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ." I think it costs 99c. btw, she contradicts Steven Spielberg. In the third Indiana Jones film, the chalice was a simple thing. No. According to her vision, it was a grand old thing preserved since Melchisedech. Great story. Very painful you know. Must wait until Lent to read it again. This piece of shit is a US congressman…
Goldman, who was first elected in 2022, has long been a staunch opponent of Trump and his immigration policies in Congress. However, when Trump’s mass deportation agenda literally showed up outside his office, his involvement escalated, with his office becoming the headquarters for a legal operation that has secured the release of nine ICE detainees. “We have our Washington D.C. angle to it, with the legislation and the letters and public messaging to make Americans aware of what is actually going on,” Goldman said during an extensive interview with TPM earlier this month. “But we also are sitting across the street from families who are being torn apart, and if there’s a way for us to help them, I’ve told my staff, do anything possible.” Goldman and his staffers began making regular visits to Manhattan’s immigration courts. While there, they got to know the network of court watchers and accompaniers who have been supporting migrants and trying to help them keep their cases alive. There’s a lot that has happened this year that makes me incredibly angry and upset for our democracy. Nothing has hit me emotionally like this immigration dragnet,” Goldman explained. “My grandmother escaped antisemitism in Russia and came through Ellis Island. And, at that time … there was no need for asylum. People were welcomed here, and they came here to seek refuge, and to seek opportunity.” “That’s what this country is all about,” he continued. “And now to see this administration demonize immigrants just for being different, or other, or not born in America, or frankly, not white, is very difficult for me just to emotionally handle. There’s a lot of crazy stuff, but nothing has kept me up at night like this.” Posted by: Its Go Time Donald at December 23, 2025 08:51 PM (UJWr0) 266

Posted by: Dr. Claw Plans are readily available... Every unmachined piece of a stem is an 80%. For example - this piece of pipe? It's an 80% barrel. If one were to produce a jig(s) for these 80% parts it would greatly facilitate making quality stens. As Stalin said - quantity is a quality in itself.
