Brown University Releases Blurry Photos of Second Person Seen "in Proximity" of Actual Suspect

This could very well be a complete rando who was a stranger to the chubby shooter.

Asking for information about this likely rando shows how lost and desperate the Brown crew is.

I guess maybe this guy could have had a better look at the obese terrorist, but... he would still have seen Chubbs McMurder wearing a mask, something the left has normalized and even sacralized. Now most criminals wear masks. It used to be illegal to wear a mask in public, now it's a sacrament.

The Providence Police Department has widened its search to include a person who was “in proximity” to the at-large Brown University gunman who murdered two students and wounded seven others on Saturday.
“Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying and speaking to the individual shown in these photos who was in proximity of the person of interest,” the Rhode Island department wrote on X alongside several photos.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact the tip line at 401-272-3121.”
The individual featured in the newly released grainy surveillance camera captures is wearing a blue jacket with a green hood, dark pants and is holding what appears to be a light-colored satchel slung over their right shoulder.
It appears to be the same person spotted in surveillance footage previously released by FBI Boston, which also shows the unidentified suspect walking down a suburban Providence street less than two hours before the shooting.

In the footage, the suspect appears to look to his right and spot the backpack-wearing individual before breaking into a sprint down a side street at 2:16 p.m. Dec. 13.

So did something about the killer alarm him? Did he see a gun?

I don't know. I guess it's possible he's even a confederate but unless I'm reading this wrong they were never seen speaking together or interacting.

As you probably know, online people found a "they/them" queer Palestinian refugee who has the same basic body type as the suspect. (In fairness, a lot of young "men" now have this same body type, unfortunately.)

I wouldn't think much about that, but when I went searching for him, I found that every link I tried to click on had been deleted.

All references to Mustapha Kharbouch have been removed from Brown University’s website.

Archived profiles described Mustapha as a queer Palestinian activist and a third generation Palestinian refugee before they were taken down.

Although online "sleuths" have scored some real coups in identifying unknown persons, they've also struck out far more than they've hit. I'm interested to know if this guy has an alibi, and if he's been questioned and if his home has been searched, but I'm not even close to convinced. Even the deletion of his pages is suggestive, but not conclusive; the left lies about everything and is determined that no one but the left is allowed to have access to the internet. It would not surprise me if they went on a deleting mission just because it offended them that non-credentialed persons were trying to do their jobs for them.

But I sure would like to know if he has an alibi or not. The "refuse to even dignify that question with an answer" act they always put on is getting old. And it's always been a suspicious kind of act. If the facts are on your side, why do you hide them?

I'm talking even the bullets pulled from the hospital...my kid did Forensic Bio as her major and she did some research that floored me on what they can do...if they want to spend the money and the time...if the perp touched any part of anything, you can almost always get DNA, even if it got contaminated (b/c you can rule out the contaminant easily in this case)...

I always laugh at those scenes.

Even with AI it’s impossible to do what they’re doing, zooming in on a 480p screenshot from a surveillance camera and ‘enhancing’ a license plate to read the number.

If you zoom in that far on anything that small all you’re going to see are different shaded/colored squares called pixels, and even AI at that point is going to be guessing at what is there.

If you start at a 4K (2160p) image you’re luck will be better, but that’s not going to be common for surveillance because the file sizes are huge for continuous recorded video.

That is a good question. I am told it definitely is not a diet rich in HFCS and highly processed carbs with the only fats and proteins being from seed oils and soy. I am also told that it is not because there is no exercise for the young men because health care is so expensive that families and schools can't risk them being injured. And it definitely has nothing to do with the meds most of them wind up on to deal with high calorie foods, low physical activity, and social exclusion or outright isolation in society.

True, but there are tools and techniques that can take several blurry pictures of something from video and do what's called multi-frame super-resolution. There's a law enforcement tool called Amped FIVE that does this process exactly.

We have satellites in orbit that can read license plates, so it’s definitely possible to get results in some cases, but nothing like Hollywood makes it out to be.

The other fatal victim, an Uzbek engineer, was hit by a stray bullet (as were the other merely injured innocent bystanders in the wrong place at the wrong time). Only the conservative girl was hit multiple times. 100% guaranteed she was the intended target, and everyone else was just "by-catch," accidentally in the way.

Different use case. Speed cameras are usually high definition single frame pictures taken from a pole near ground level. They take several pictures at a known interval of time in between to demonstrate speed.

They are fantastic quality and don't need to use the method I described.

262 I just finished a great thriller novel, Chris Pavone's "The Expats," in which one particular chapter has a woman, the principal character, and a secret ex-CIA operator, checking out the apartment of a suspect. The view out the window is one for the ages, a sniper perch like no other, and she takes her car after leaving, sets her phone to stopwatch, counts the turns in the ridiculous European medieval streets, how many it takes to get to the M-whatever high speed at the bottom of the hill. Eight turns, 21 seconds, and it's pedal to the metal to anywhere any direction.

You could likely do the same from the Brown U site. Map the likely getaway route.

This killer was on a plane within a half hour of the killings.

Well, let me ruin your day even more SpeakingOf... Current License Plate Recognition cameras/software can be mounted on a police car and can grab a license plate at 200 mph (Cop going 100 mph can grab a plate on a car going 100 mph in the other direction). This LPR system can passively scan every plate it can see while going through traffic. Add in the capability of current gen "AI" to run down database information and... well you do the math. Don't forget to pay that ticket and get a warrant out...

This isn't future, it's in the field working right now, and has been for half a decade. All that is holding much of this back are some trivial pesky laws that LEO doesn't like.
