Quasi-willowed There was a story of a guy at my university who did the oral defense of his thesis. In the customary ballet, he was excused after he finished and told to wait for the committee's decision. An hour later he was still waiting and having a breakdown. Turns out his committee spent 20 seconds agreeing it was fine, then spent an hour discussing who would be the next president of the university. So funny. He pretends he's doing a business rescue show where he, someone who took a handful of business classes at a mediocre college and got Bs and C's, offers "business advice" to business owners, but it's always these ludicrous scams and legal loophole plays and sometimes just absurd stunts. Like in one he has an electronic store advertise a sale for 50 inch tvs for $20, but the fine print says you must be on line at a specific time, you must be wearing formal wear (tuxedos and gowns), and you can only reach the tvs by going through a hallway in which he has placed a real live alligator. 1. The first batch of snow globe cookies are a fail. They stuck to the cheap parchment paper. Lesson learned. 2. I am having to restore my iPad from this ridiculous Liquid Glass update that killed it even though it’s the latest gen Air. The autocorrect on this is crazy. Posted by: toby928(c) at December 12, 2025 08:07 PM (jc0TO) I've been spoiled by a local deli's gyros. I tried Arby's once, and was "WTF is this?" Never tried it again. I like thin roast beef or thicker roast beef on sandwiches. I'm easy to please on the sandwich front as long as the word 'pastrami' doesn't enter the discussion. Penguin Facts will point out that what was considered "Left wing" in 1990 would be quite mainstream nowadays. The National Consumers League is America’s oldest consumer advocacy organization and a group trusted by the left, especially, to stand up for consumers’ interests.
But according to a review of its tax filings by the Washington Examiner, it has also become part of a web of astroturf groups shilling for the corporate interests of PhRMA, the massive drugmaker trade association that operates in Washington, DC, which donated close to $1 million to it just last year. Posted by: Tom Servo at December 12, 2025 09:03 PM (k5cxK) Those pies were good. Back in the 80's we had a McDonalds, a white castle, and a jack in the box all within pissing distance of each other. We would go to white castle and grab some burgers, then hit the McDonalds drive though next door for fries, a strawberry shake, and a few of those apple or cherry pies, and then feast on all of it in the parking lot. Many times we would just hit McDonalds and grab the shake, fries, and cherry pies. Its the shit that happened when you cruised around all night getting roasted. lol Posted by: Berserker-Dragonheads Division at December 12, 2025 09:19 PM (snZF9) 211
