No Shock: Tech Company Offers $60/Hour Coding Job with Proviso: "No US Citizens" May Apply

Immigrants are doing the jobs that Americans just won't do are illegally blacklisted from.

The job post for LanceSoft, an IT staffing firm committed to "diversity, equality, and inclusivity," began innocently enough.

The $60-per-hour role would be based in Santa Clara, Calif., focus on "technical support," and entail a 3--10 p.m. shift. Posted on Nvoids, an IT jobs aggregator, the ad described LanceSoft as an equal opportunity employer and said that the firm, one of the largest staffing agencies in the country, strives "to be as diverse as the clients and employees we partner with."

"We embrace people of any race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender identity, and sexual orientation," the Nov. 25 post read.

This particular job, however, would not be open to a very large group of people: citizens of the United States.

In a section titled "Visa requirement," LanceSoft recruiter Riyaz Ansari wrote that "candidates must hold an active H1B visa"--and stated explicitly that American citizens need not apply.

"No USC/GC for this role," Ansari wrote, using the acronyms for U.S. citizens and green card holders. He added that "LanceSoft is a certified Minority Business Enterprise"--a status the firm has used to secure public contracts--and touted the company's "diversified team environment."

Federal law bars employers from discriminating based on citizenship status. But in the industries most reliant on the H-1B program, which provides visas to more than 700,000 immigrants, advertisements like LanceSoft's litter online recruiting boards.

The Washington Free Beacon identified over two dozen job postings since 2024 that appear to bar applications from U.S. citizens. The posts were made on a variety of platforms, including Glassdoor and LinkedIn, and typically indicate a preference for H-1B visas, though some allow for other visa types as well. Several of the firms are minority-owned businesses, meaning they receive preferential access to government contracts even as they exclude U.S. workers.

The posts illustrate what Trump administration officials say is a common form of hiring discrimination that has long been underpoliced. They come as conservatives are debating the merits of the H-1B visa program, which some argue has been abused by employers to hire foreign workers--especially Indian outsourcers--at the expense of American ones.

"A shocking number of covered entities, especially recruiters, continue to express explicit preferences for visa guest workers," said Andrea Lucas, the chair of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). "In the shadows of under-enforcement, this type of discrimination has festered."

Read the whole thing.

Trump needs to put together a squad of employment-discrimination Untouchables and begin suing these companies into bankruptcy.

Below: The owner of a small construction company in Louisiana says that his phone is ringing off the hook now that illegal alien construction workers aren't showing up for work due to fears of being deported. With the illegals being deported, actual US citizens are getting hired again.

As he says: This shows "just how bad" it's gotten. It's no longer the case that illegals are hired to supplement or fill out a work force. No, they've completely pushed out almost all US citizens from entire industries.

23 When (bizarrely, given the disastrous policies of all administrations prior to 2016) a NC meat-packing company was raided and its illegal workforce removed years ago, someone bothered to study the aftermath. Surprise! Main results: short-term disruption to operations, very small price increase in products, notable increase in local hiring.

For the billionth time, enforcement against employers is by far the most powerful leveraged tool DHS has. And there are cooperative (coerced) models of enforcement that would minimize economic impact. These have been on desks since 2017.

Time is short, and time is wasting.

Trump however, when asked about this by Laura Ingraham said there is no talent in America and we need foreign workers. Don’t look to Trump for any fixes on this. “In California and New York, immigrants have accounted for 100% of all rental growth and over one-half of all growth in owner-occupied housing in recent years, the report found – while nationally, the foreign-born population accounted for more than 60% of the growth in rental demand.

But illegal immigration totally has nothing to do with housing costs, rental costs, availability or inflation.

At some point we also need to staple the owners of businesses who hire illegal immigrants to a telephone pole. Even in places like NY where they give these people a permit to work while they’re evading deportation.

Then the hispanics started showing up and would intimidate all the local regulars and pretty much chased us all off. Their whole families would show up and jump berry rows and pick ahead of you so you wouldn't get any berries. It didn't help that the new field manager was a hispanic as well. Details on policy are something not as conducive as bitch fests. Underneath all the blather, TPS is being revoked right and left, Duffy is making sure that CDL licences end when the visa does plus shutting down CDL mills, the new rules require 100k fee for H1Bs and other provisions making it more difficult to hire them, the rulemaking above narrows the student worker visa loophole for STEM, etc.

That being said, when UC San Diego has a big percentage of students that cannot do middle school math yet graduate high school, we got a massive supply problem from destructive K12 education in much of this country.

Essentially, Trump is trying to redo the transmission of the US economy while going down the road with substantial changes--tariffs, immigration clampdown, changing provisions. Watch what the man actually does, not what the dumbass media types get as pablum. He uses words, not policies like Clinton, to triangulate to tack back and forth. Say a U.S. coder cost $150k. I hire someone from out of the country for $80k. That person lives...poorly, saves his money, and sends it home to a poor country, where the money is sufficient to build a 5-bedroom home for his family.

The cost differential is the same. Both parties have the same goals. But he U.S coder wants to build his house here, while the H1B wants to build it his home country, which is cheaper, so he'll take a much lower pay.

To me the easy solution is to tax remittances. 15%.

You can tell the bad stories for narratives as they disappear quickly while those that support leftist narratives are blasted coast to coast for weeks--like Trayvon.

Thug accosts armed person violently and gets shot then dies. This would seem a local story but because of the outrage machine and Obama admin, it became a national story for months incuding the trial. I also bet Community Relations at the DoJ thought they had Whitey shooting a dindu nuffin yute that could have been Obama's son narrative going on. Anti gun, anti Whitey, perhaps even anti Jew as Zimmerman is often a common Jewish name. So they and their ngo flying monkeys, and Ben Crump, made it into a circus.

242 I mean, WTF ??? "Late Sunday night, congressional leaders released the negotiated text of the National Defense Authorization Act. The House and Senate had each already passed their own versions—both with anti-LGBTQ+ provisions, including a sweeping ban on Defense Department funding for gender-affirming surgeries. That measure, which would have compounded the barrage of anti-trans actions already underway in the military under Donald Trump’s command, was widely expected to survive into the final bill. But in a surprise twist, the negotiated text dropped the surgical funding ban altogether—marking the second time in recent weeks that major anti-trans riders have collapsed during the congressional process. Though the final version still includes anti-DEI language and a transgender sports ban for those enrolled at military academies, defeating the surgical funding ban is a significant and unexpected victory."

So...the first place wasn't lying about the need to replace it but they really jacked up the price. I assume they have plenty of people that agree to it and don't shop around.

Instead of delivering the feel-good warmth Americans once expected from holiday ads—yes, even from giant corporations—McDonald’s dropped a cold, AI-generated oddity described by viewers as nothing short of “terrible” and “joyless.”

This bizarre commercial, stitched together by a cocktail of algorithms and sleepless creatives, proudly reimagines the classic It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year as—brace yourself—“the most terrible time of the year.” Because apparently, somewhere in the boardroom, someone decided that what families really crave during the holidays is a cynical rewrite of a beloved Christmas song.

The ACA has made it worse by accelerating a lot of physicians' retirements, but the physician shortage trend was predicted and noted by a number of reputable studies starting around the late 90s. This isn't a surprise by any stretch, and yet nothing was done to seriously address the issue.

283 Trump is going to send 2 million illegals packing this year.
I expect 8-10 million over 4 years. With no replacement in-migration.

That makes, somewhere around 2-3 million rental units available in major cities over 4 years. About 500,000 per year. In 2025, an estimated 506,353 rental units are expected to be built nationwide in the U.S.

Hence, assuming we keep building, this will double the number of available rental units in major cities. DOUBLE.

Hence rnust rates must fall.

Step 2 is to get rid of short-term rentals - Ban air B&B and VRBO.

Many states have certificate of need for key medical facility approval that keep competition down. Then, doctors often face debilitating corporate culture where they answer to corporate bosses (even if ngo) on measures like generating revenue by seeing the maximum number of patients, referrrals in system, drugs prescribed, etc.

And the tedious unpaid electronic medical records required by Obamacare that are driving docs batshit crazy in paperwork.

Whole health care system needs massive revision but the risk is the left and corporations wanting to shuck costs turn it into NHS USA. There you will die from neglect, malpractice, and delays in basic care. Plus have to pay out of pocket to see the moonlighting NHS docs at night privately because long delays to see them as NHS docs in daytime.

Posted by: whig at December 09, 2025 02:34 PM (WDjG6)

288 I can solve the doctor shortage overnight. One. Rule. You CANNOT sue a doctor for services you didn't pay for. In fact, you have no legal recourse whatsoever for medical services provided without charge. And you can only sue for 3X the cost of the procedure, assuming you did pay.

That lifts a huge fraction of the liability costs from doctors, nurses, and other health care professionals. It allows more lower trained people to supervise simple medical procedures. And nobody getting a free ride can turn around and sue anyone for poor care.

My daughter is a nurse and takes care of a lot of homeless people. She has been assaulted 1-2 times a year. Each time the perp - nothing happens. And if she fights back, they tell her she'll be fired, loose her license, and the hospital will be sued. How many docs are signing up for that bullshit?

Agreed. But I just read the other day how the Dept. of War was looking at drawing down forces in Europe and S. Korea, maybe even letting some other NATO country have the Supreme Commander gig in Europe, and the new Defense bill nipped that all in the bud. Legislatively codified mandatory World Empire force structure.

It isn't enough to pick the right President. It's necessary, but we also need to get more involved in Congressional races. It is actually perfectly legal to support principled challengers looking to replace hacks in other parts of the country; in fact, that's a big part of how lefty activists use ActBlue in practice, albeit using their power for evil.
