Well, maybe. But there were also "facts" like the security video of the FBI guys seeing the bomb, acting like they knew it was a toy, not evacuating Kamala out of the building, etc. That strongly supported the "fake bomber" theory.

If we now believe the bomber was real, how do we explain away these facts? Or the fact that the bomb was clearly fake (as has been reported several times)?

We have two theories, both of which are supported by actual facts, but both of which can't be true.

My guess is a std. blackpowder pipe bomb which instructions used to be found in certain publications and later widespread on the internet. So in a sense, yes, blackpowder confined in a pipe can be somewhat dangerous as even static electricity sparks can set one off. But my gathering from the different reports is that on at least one of the 'bombs' that the timer was not set as they both used 60 minute kitchen timers and were apparently placed well before those 60 minutes expired. No way unless the bomber planned to revisit them for setting detonation later for them to explode. Dunno if either were defective, incomplete, or never actually hooked up but were meant to resemble a bomb for attention.

The weird guy in Florida who had the pro Trump van had something like those that were not hooked up either and got sent to prison for it IIRC.

Not a child...just getting (and keeping) subscribers, especially after the 1st group is a hard, hard thing...my kid asks individual people every day as he's online with thanks for those who do it. Not an issue to use even wind up timers to complete electrical circuits. Old timey bombs did this way back. And it could have been that the DNC was fake all the way but the RNC's was different. Most of the details have been sparse and contradictory, probably on purpose for these.
