Trump Declares All Biden Autopen Documents Null and Void

I don't know how the courts will handle this.

Trump made the announcement on his Truth Social platform, as he often does. The Friday afternoon post stated, "Any document signed by Sleepy Joe Biden with the Autopen, which was approximately 92% of them, is hereby terminated, and of no further force or effect. The Autopen is not allowed to be used if approval is not specifically given by the President of the United States." It is unclear how significantly this could impact governmental programs and policies, but certainly it will shake up the federal government.

Next, Trump went so far as to say that Joe Biden was so totally incompetent mentally and physically that he had nothing whatsoever to do with the autopen scandal and would be lying if he said he did.

The president insisted, "The Radical Left Lunatics circling Biden around the beautiful Resolute Desk in the Oval Office took the Presidency away from him. I am hereby cancelling all Executive Orders, and anything else that was not directly signed by Crooked Joe Biden, because the people who operated the Autopen did so illegally. Joe Biden was not involved in the Autopen process and, if he says he was, he will be brought up on charges of perjury. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

I suspect they will claim that any document with the claimed signature of the president is presumptively real and therefore lawful, and that any undoing of that presumption must be on a case-by-case basis and by clear and convincing proof.

I understand fully how ridiculous that sounds when I say it. It was no less ridiculous for the inner circle of the zombie Biden administration to actually fucking do it.

Posted by: torabora at November 28, 2025 03:38 PM (anQFD)

25 The courts will laugh at this, but there's a important and potentially devastating aspect to what I understand Trump did.

Trump voided all of Joey Shitbrain's autopen signatures. Every one of them. So unless everyone affected by any one of these EOs (or pardons or whatever) runs into court seeking a declaratory judgment that Trump couldn't void it -- which is highly unlikely -- then all these people will never know whether the EO is effective to them or not, unless Trump (or someone else) takes action inconsistent with the EO. Then they can sue Trump or whoever. But that could be years down the road. Until then, who knows?

I guess some leftwing ratfuck judge could enjoin Trump's declaration as to all the EOs -- and probably will -- but that probably won't stand. The basis of Trump's voiding the EOs is that Biden didn't sign them, didn't know about them, etc. That would require an individualized, case-by-case inquiry into each EO at issue.

This could be a bigger deal overall than we think.

30 Good! Let them litigate every damn one of them. The federal government has essentially unlimited resources in litigation- if, as ace suggests, the courts presume authenticity, the government can produce evidence to rebut the presumption with government lawyers on salary (like me) and these jerks can spend their own bucks attempting to refute. But facts in evidence already demonstrate the process for autopen approval wasn’t followed, so good luck!

35 My non lawyer understanding is that EOs can be reversed by the next POTUS regardless. Biden canceled a lot of good things from the first Trump term with counter EOs.

There may be specific EOs that Trump wants to undo; by making the statement that every pardon and EO that was signed by autopen is null and void, the commies don't have one narrow target to focus on so the key counter EOs Trump wants to issue have more chance to succeed, especially if the commies focus on making sure the pardons for evil gnome Fauci et al are not overturned.

The W administration came to the legal conclusion that autopens were legally valid...and they never did it on government documents.

Considering Trump's propensity for making his signings into spectacles and the central issue of the autopen for Biden, I doubt there's any autopen on any official, authorizing document.

Umm, yea. That's my point. By striking all the EOs down in one shot, anyone affected by any EO is now in limbo as to whether that EO is still effective or not. So they either all have to sue for declaratory judgment, or wait until they are affected by conduct inconsistent with the EO and then challenge it in court.

Is this real? It doesn't make sense as it's written. How do you "seize" a remittance? A remittance has already been made and the money is now out of the country. I guess there could be new rules that require proof of citizenship or legal status before making a remittance, or the remittance will be "seized" before it's sent. 83 Is this real? It doesn't make sense as it's written. How do you "seize" a remittance? A remittance has already been made and the money is now out of the country. I guess there could be new rules that require proof of citizenship or legal status before making a remittance, or the remittance will be "seized" before it's sent. But I doubt that could be enforced in any real sense.

You seize it at the middleman level. You require all foreign sent money to have a check of someone's citizenship (be in the bank or online service handling it). Anyone who is not gets the money removed and sent to Treasury where it is held until either the citizen can correct the error or it is confirmed illegal.

Remittances are not instant, so there's time to thwart the process...

Anyone with more than a couple of braincells to rub together would say the atropine was ripe for abuse. Drop that shit into the Potomac.

That said, I don't expect this to survive a court challenge but I also wonder if the Adminustration is adopting a leftist tactic of simply overwhelming the opposition with so many cases that it stretches their resources thin.

Some judge in Hawaii is already cooking up a nationwide TRO.

Greetings Everyone

Happy Black Friday!

Thank you Ace for giving us a home to safely express ourselves and to share a sense of community.

We didn't get home from Thanksgiving until after 2 AM local time. LOL!

Sadly, that's not the worst we've ever done....LOL!

Older son and g.f. had to leave at 4 AM for LAX to fly to Boston via Philly. Thankfully they took an Uber though my wife kept offering for me to take them. He reported safe arrival in Philadelphia a while ago.

I'm drinking coffee and watching Miracle on 34th St.

Looks like a pretty freaky drug. I'm reading it affects the nervous system. It's used as a counter to someone who's been hit in a nerve agent attack. It slows saliva production for people during surgery. It is also used in various heart attack situations. And for dilating pupils.

100 7 Another argument is that if President Biden was incompetent and unable to properly exercise the power of the pardon, he should have been removed via the 25th amendment.
Posted by: Additional Blond Agent, STEM Guy at November 28, 2025 03:33 PM (/HDaX)

He should have been removed when the Special Prosecutor guy said he was not fit to stand trial for - what was it - the classified documents thing?

They need an auto pen rule that says the president has 30 days to re-sign the document in person or it doesn't stand.

No auto-pen signatures within 30 days of leaving office.

ALSO: No pardons within 60 days before and none after a presidential election unless the president wins another term.

Posted by: Anonymous Rogue in Kalifornistan (ARiK) at November 28, 2025 04:02 PM (QGaXH)

101 President Trump has been laying the groundwork for this since day one. He personally signed dozens of things, EO's, bills, etc., in front of cameras.

This is not a knee jerk reaction. President Trump was headed this direction from day one.

Anyone surprised by this wasn't paying attention.

103 I suspect they will claim that any document with the claimed signature of the president is presumptively real and therefore lawful, and that any undoing of that presumption must be on a case-by-case basis and by clear and convincing proof.
-
That will be their argument for the pardons, which is what most of them care about. As far as the EOs go, Trump can pretty easily (and should) issue one declaring all of Biden's EOs null and void (I suppose some identification of each can be listed for documentary purposes). But it's kind of loose shit to *just* declare this in a tweet or whatever.

And again, they are not instant. Just like your check deposits are held 3 days even though in theory, the money can move in an instant.

Money can be held...and even if you don't stop the very 1st transaction, once an account gets flagged after a transaction, you can prevent any further ones.

There would have no point in causing an upset. None of these people are even remotely convincable. They're all utterly brainwashed Kool-Aid-drinking NPR listeners, so ill-informed that it would take several months just to to get them up to speed on what reality even is, before then trying to change their opinions.

I did try to subtly "turn" a nephew of mine, by neutrally describing to him what a "self-imposed information bubble" is, and that while it may be true that right-wingers refuse to pay attention to liberal news, by the same token he refuses to pay attention to what is discussed in right-wing media. As a result, his opinion may indeed be "correct" and inescapable based on the information he receives, but by the same token a right-winger's opinion is correct and inescapable based on the information that he intakes.

"B-b-but Fox News is full of lies and PBS is true!"

I said -- If you actually look into both sides, you'll see that neither side is "lying," but rather they simply choose to emphasize facts and stories that support their political biases. He agreed.

______

In theory, sure. But there are already systems in place and SAR requiring reporting potentially illegal wire transfers from illegals, and they do nothing. In order for a system to work even under this new rule, the remittance has to be $2k or more ($1,999 wires fly under the radar), the sending institution has to identify and flag suspicious transfers (I'm skeptical), and the gov't has to immediately react and stop the transfer. Highly unlikely all three of these things will happen.
