I checked Disney's stock price this morning. FUN FACT: If you invested $1,000 in Disney stock a decade ago -- on November 27, 2015 -- today you would have $975. The true story of 1st European Thanksgiving from my pastor..."It is true that the Pilgrims
shared a meal of thanksgiving with the Native Americans/Indians. However, it was not the first thanksgiving by Europeans to occur in the New World. If you ever visit St. Augustine, Florida (the oldest inhabited city in the United States), you will find a shrine dedicated to Our Lady of La Leche outside the city near the coast...The place commemorates the spot where the Spanish explorers/settlers landed after arriving at the bay on August 28, 1565, the feast of St. Augustine. Soon after landfall, the Spanish, who had brought a priest with them, celebrated a Mass of Thanksgiving. They later enjoyed a meal of thanksgiving with the local Native Americans." Posted by: Cicero His predecessor Michael Eisner paved the way by pissing off enough stockholders. Iger went on a buying spree which is dragging Disney down via debt and declining earnings per share. Disney needs to shed dying cable and broadcast properties to invest in their better performing properties while they still have some value left but yet Iger cannot bear to pull the trigger to disaggregate what he put together. There was nothing to immigrate to; no wealth, no economy, and no systems. So I call bullshit on people that say we are all immigrants when there was nothing to immigrate to. This year, God has bestowed abundant blessings all across our land and indeed the entire world. As we give thanks to Him, we continue to advance our Nation through strong leadership and commonsense policy. As a result, the American economy is roaring back, we are making progress on lowering the cost of living, a new era of peace is sweeping around the world, our sovereignty is being swiftly restored, and the American spirit is coming back greater and more powerful than ever before.
As we prepare to celebrate 250 glorious years of American independence, this Thanksgiving, we summon the faith, resolve, and unflinching fortitude of the giants of American history who came before us. We vow to build a future that echoes their sacrifice. Above all, we offer our endless gratitude to Almighty God for His love, grace, and infinite blessings. NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim Thursday, November 27, 2025, as a National Day of Thanksgiving. 77 It occurred to me I havent watched the Macy's parade for years...
Newest comment when I popped in to note, has it always been this lame. I never watched it before, but wifey does... She had to point out how lame it is... Does FNYC changing population not go to it anymore or has it always sucked.... The new muslim mayor might just deny the permit next year. I thought that someone would try to disrupt the parade so when I read the news and there was no story I thought possibly there was no parade this year. Glad my prediction was wrong.

Oh, the Afghan shooter worked for a NGO that was run by David Milibrand, Tony Blair's former Foreign Secretary. MI6, the Brits CIA, worked for Milibrand.
This is getting very interesting. Posted by: JackStraw Nothing remarkable here. Anyone with a lick of sense would have brought any of them here. Especially if they worked for us as shooters. Neighbor was SF guy. He noted that every single one were psychopathic killers who used to work for the former regime. We just paid them better, for now. He was even candid and told them if they switched sides he'd have problem killing them too. Another interesting observation - he said he tried (unsuccessfully( to convince leadership the only way to pacify these people is when one killed one of ours we kill his whole fvcking clan. They get that. Then the clan would keep the hot heads under control. Posted by: Itinerant Alley Butcher at November 27, 2025 02:32 PM (Z5/Ih) 88
BFF is enjoying the fact that her electricity problem was solved, and didn't cost any extra. Yay!

Took my buddy Jimmy to Thanksgiving buffet like last year, and once again, somebody anonymously paid for our eats. God Bless them!
I dress like a homeless bum, so as to stay gray. I guess the disguise works a little too well sometimes We have so much to be thankful for. I do carp a lot, but I seriously am grateful for the amazing grace God has given me. Amen! I wish all the Horde the very happiest and safest Thanksgiving! Please drive carefully today! Anyone with a lick of sense would have brought any of them here. Especially if they worked for us as shooters. She just finished the thread so I don't know how far you got. The remarkable part is that this particular NGO was funded and run by spooks both in the US and abroad. >@DataRepublican · 3m >I've seen enough. IRC has got to be a CIA front. Just too many intelligence presidents. Posted by: JackStraw at November 27, 2025 02:36 PM (viF8m) 93
So I'm sitting here and I'm thinking...
Dangerous, I know. But I think about Ozempic and weight loss etc and I think, ya know, the body does have a preference on where to store fat, right? It's not the same preference, it changes with each individual. So Sons bodies prefer here, others there. Then I think know women. Some women have bodies that prefer storing fat in the middle, some in the ass, some in the... Then I think, instead of a weight "loss" drug how about a drug that prompts a woman's body to shift fat storage into her boobs? Probably wouldn't be difficult. Instead of trying to flip a switch off or on, which sounds like it carries many risks, it's a simple redirect. Plus it kills two birds with one stone. Slimmer women with bigger boobah. Gentleman, if we can land a man on the moon surely we can do this. Posted by: Robert, The Love Walrus at November 27, 2025 02:37 PM (1Yy3c) 94
This little banner script is getting more and more complex, I added logic to detect if either shuf (linux) or gshuf (macOs) is present and to use the correct one to shuffle the phrases.
So to summarize, the script uses Figlet and lolcat to display a randomly selected phrase with a randomly selected figlet font, every time you open a terminal, you can turn it off and on by setting an environment variable, and it will automatically turn off if you are in tmux or the working directory is my coding directory. Why'd I do this? Don't know, just wanted to do a little shell scripting and one thing led to another.
