Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Department of War Mulls Court-Martialing Senator and Inactive-Duty Officer Mark Kelly for Urging Troops to Defy the Duly-Elected Commander in ChiefOfficers in the US Armed Forces are under a special obligation to respect the chain of command. Aren't they? The Department of War is reportedly considering recalling Kelly to active duty, just to face an court martial for insubordination (and, I guess, insurrection).Department of WarPete Hegseth put an exclamation point on the DOW's statement: Pete Hegseth RedState's Rusty Weiss notes that the military does permit (or oblige) troops to refuse a "manifestly" illegal order -- but also tells them they're supposed to treat all orders as presumably legal and obey them. Mark Kelly and the other seditionists told troops to substitute their own opinion for the duly-elected Commander-in-Chief's. The problem is that there is a vast difference between manifestly illegal orders and those whose illegality is debatable. The latter of which, refusing to obey an order one feels personally questionable, is itself illegal, under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). In other words, service members can't simply say they feel immigration enforcement, for example, is unlawful and walk away, which is precisely what these Democrat lawmakers were trying to incite.

This is about Crow, but it reads the same:
Green Beret Nap Time @GBNT1952 16h Since they seem intent upon continuously using doctrinal propaganda on the US populace, I think it’s important to highlight exactly what Crow and other Members of Congress are really doing. Rep. Jason Crow’s post is a doctrinal example of narrative escalation within modern IO and psychological warfare doctrine. Check out FM 3-05.301 / MISO. By claiming that the President is threatening him with arrest and execution—a statement never actually made by Trump—Crow amplifies and inflates the narrative to its most extreme form in order to shape public perception. This tactic, often called interpretive maximalism, takes an opponent’s words or actions and stretches them into a dire or existential threat, allowing the speaker to adopt a position of moral heroism while casting the opponent as an authoritarian danger. When Crow doubles down on this framing, he creates what IO doctrine refers to as a self sealing narrative, where any denial or criticism becomes proof of the alleged threat. Posted by: Kindltot at November 24, 2025 02:33 PM (rbvCR) 7
The emotionally loaded language like “upholding my oath,” “standing with our troops,” “disregard for the rule of law,” are designed to trigger identity based responses and mobilize his political base through fear, outrage, and moral urgency.
In doing all of this, Crow shifts the conversation away from what was actually said and into a battle over perceived intent, a classic PSYOP mechanism that reframes political disagreement as existential warfare. This is not an evidentiary argument—it is a strategic influence play aimed at narrative dominance. It is important that Americans recognize these tactics so that they can understand when propaganda is being pushed by their own government officials. Half of this country thinks "legal" means "whatever I approve of today". They reject the fundamental premise of America, that we are a nation of Laws, not Men. Aren't they? - Not according to Pussy Blitzer. NEW: Congresswoman Lisa McClain SILENCES Wolf Blitzer after he asks: “Should members of the US military or intelligence community obey what are clearly illegal orders?” McCLAIN: “You're asking an enlisted person for their opinion on what they think is legal or illegal. That's a pretty slippery slope. Follow your commander in chief. That's the oath that you took.” . . . . BLITZER: During WW2, these Nazi officers were following the chain of command, obeying illegal orders and they slaughtered Jews during the Holocaust LISA McCLAIN: We're a long way from the Nuremberg trials and the slaughtering of Jews. If you want to talk about the slaughtering the Jews we can have that conversation another time - P.S. It's not Trump and MAGA who favor killing the Jews. It does set up an interesting paradigm. Those not Leftists are seeing example after example of how Leftist civilian officials are immune from the law and the Constitution no matter what they do. And if these courts martial come to pass, it would appear to civilian observers that the UCMJ does have a possibility of delivering law and justice. I am not sure that is the kind of example that the old "Civics" classes back when I was in school [Paleolithic days] would like.

As I have noted elsewhere (and you can see in that photo), Mark Kelly is the most prominent D.C. figure who looks like he's wearing one of those newfangled high-tech masks. They're nearly perfect, except for the unavoidable: you put extra material around the eyes, they become deep-set.
Maybe he's just a mutant freak, but I have been made aware that he has a twin who is also an astronaut, which makes this neatly testable. Twins frequently share personality traits, and the wealthy are notoriously cheap; so, if Mark has an aversion to the inanities of meet-and-greets, then his twin probably does too -- and they would almost certainly take advantage of the cost savings of hiring the same body double to cover both of them, since they're supposed to look the same anyway. Hypothesis: That's an actor in a mask. Null hypothesis: He's a mutant freak. Test: Look for photos of him at events where he's seated next to his twin. If they look like normal people, then yeah, they're using a body double for their solo appearances; if they still have deep-set eyes, then it's more likely that they're mutant freaks than that they're rich people who aren't cheapskates. ++++ They should. Nothing will change - and probably nothing CAN change - until Party Men routinely get destroyed. Court martial? Okay. But ensure there's prison time in addition to stripping him of his rank and dishonorably discharging him. Party Men from the top to the middle *must* start going down and going down hard if there is to be any hope of change. It does not matter who it is, or the putative reason for it. Just start a scorched-earth war of destruction against *any* Party Man with moderate or better power or influence. Destroy them. I have come to believe that if you want reform, it must start with the personal destruction of those who profit - in whatever terms, be it money or power or respect or position or whatever else - from blocking reform. Make being a Party Man absolutely terrifying. So yes. Court martial him. Destroy him totally. Then arbitrarily pick the text guy. Since they seem intent upon continuously using doctrinal propaganda on the US populace, I think it’s important to highlight exactly what Crow and other Members of Congress are really doing. Rasmussen has had Trump approval at 47% for the past 5 days (they take weekend off so really the past 7 days). It got down to 44,45 the previous 2-3 weeks. So looks like whatever support he’s lost has slowly come back and is holding steady.
