Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | The Morning Report — 11/13/25![]() To understand what’s now happening inside the Democratic Party, look no further than the historical analogy found in the Russian Revolution. There were some soft socialists, the so-called Russian whites, led by a guy named Alexander Kerensky. They were trying to hold off the Reds, and started off in an unenviable position militarily, but ended up winning because eventually there wasn’t enough systemic immunity to stop them. The liberal mainstream Democratic Party wants to capture what they think is the jet fuel of the radicals. Thus, Gavin Newsom raged against the end of the shutdown. His press office put out a statement: “Pathetic. This isn’t a deal. It’s a surrender. Don’t bend the knee!” . . .California Rep. Ro Khanna says the Democratic leadership is “out of touch.” Khanna is a psychopathic commie wog. But when he says out of touch, does he mean with the transexual molotov cocktail throwers and Anti-semitic and anti-Christian street goons shooting up synagogues and churches or with normal, decent civilized American-Americans. Brialliantine stick insect Gavin Newsom, at least at this point, is in my view the likely standard-bearer going into 2028. White male and hetero is usually the kiss of death as a résumé enhancer in Democrat circles, so he better hire Kamala to give him some sword-swallowing lessons. But, Newsom is a disastrous pick in that he's yet another Californian and his record is well known and disastrous. Speaking of sword-swallowing, he'll go down harder and faster than Kamala did against Trump in 2024, Democrat cheating notwithstanding. A J.D. Vance victory should he, as I imagine, be the GOP candidate will cement in place the MAGA agenda and most crucially the most important domestic political policy agenda in decades: the sealing of our borders, and the continued removal of as many of the tens of millions of illegal aliens already draining and straining our economy and society. For the Democrat Party to continue to have sway over the American political landscape if not survive into the next generation (please God make them go the way of the Dodo) , to whatever degree of anti-American and anti-Westernism it degenerates to, from wherever it stands now, it must win the midterms and then the next election. From there it will no doubt use every instrumentality of government and the courts and its street goon terror brigades to erase the successes of President Trump and then take no chances by using whatever means necessary to seize absolute power as has been its goal for most 200 years. This is it, all the marbles baby. As you can see from a few of the links, beyond his lack of communist fervor (though a criminal tyrannical despot for sure whatever the party label) and DEI credentials, there are a number of scandals and of course a record of disaster after disaster in California that make him, as I said earlier, toxic to the Democrat base as much as it does to us normal folks in the rest of the nation. Switching gears completely, I cannot understand why President Trump invited the jihadist Leader of Syria to the White House. Well, Yes I actually do get it and it's not a wise move. He thinks he can rack up a win vis a vis Mideast peace by somehow getting this savage on board with the alleged Gaza peace plan. As if that ever has a real shot at happening given the nature of Islam, as I and others have discussed extensively here and on the podcast as well as elsewhere. Trump’s invitation to Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa to the White House is a windfall for the former Al-Qaeda leader and a victory for the global jihad. Al-Sharaa has now walked away with a deal that likely surprises even him. He has been escorted into the Western fold with recognition as a legitimate dignitary, no longer sanctioned, and has even signed on to the global coalition to defeat ISIS. It is critical to review the background of al-Sharaa (known, in his days as a jihad leader, as Abu Mohammed al-Jolani) to appreciate the significance of his meeting with Trump — at the White House, no less. Al-Sharaa led the jihad group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTM), which was responsible for former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s fall. The process “essentially began in July 2011, when Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi—then the leader of the Islamic State in Iraq (ISI), previously known as al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI)—sent Abu Mohammed al-Jolani to spearhead his group’s entry into Syria.” Al-Jolani would later become the head of HTS, change his name to Ahmed al-Sharaa, and put on a suit to appeal to naive Westerners. He has done extraordinarily well, given how seasoned he is not only at violent jihad, but at stealth jihad as well. The President is being ill-advised to say the least. To cap off today's Report, some good essays on immigration, most notably from our friend and Ace cruelty maven Prof. Victor Davis Hanson lamenting what immigration is supposed to be, or was supposed to be. Yes we need mass deportations of as many if not all illegal aliens and for sure a moratorium on all immigration for at least a generation if not longer and with it, some sort of mass assimilation program for those who are here to inculcate Americanism and dismantle multiculturalism forever. And sadly that apples not only to immigrants legal and otherwise but to native born citizens who now have to be deprogrammed due to years of brainwashing in American academia. And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

The American people look to Trump to eradicate this massive domestic threat, but those calls do not seem to be yielding any results.
When I read the Antifa "violence" it all seems rather low-grade crap. Mostly yelling, screaming, shoving and an occasional punch in the face. Fireworks? A car lighting up its tires like every kid did with a muscle car in the 70s? When I think of Violence violence, its more on the order of the No-Go zones the immigrants have made in France, or the worst parts of a Major Sportsball victory celebration. FWIW, the administration is getting the snipers and others who turn to gun play. Posted by: Unknown Drip Under Pressure at November 13, 2025 07:36 AM (a4flb) 13

The net positive of the whole episode is that we can see it exploding in the faces of the Democrats. Proof positive is the bullshit Epstein non-revelation/revelation about President Trump which has been thoroughly disavowed and debunked by the alleged victim. Not that that will stop the media whores and propagandists from trumpeting this as loudly and frequently as possible so as to distract from their paymasters' gigantic own goal with their debacle of the Schumer Shakedown Shutdown Shitshow.
Then why doesn't some MAGA aligned investigator do a deep dive into the financial and social history of these seditionists? Find out their money sources, discover their perversions, and their links to criminals. Trumpet the results on social media to bypass the press. The GOP should be threatening these rogue judges with loss of the courts. But, do they do it? No. Posted by: OrangeEnt at November 13, 2025 07:39 AM (uQesX) 15

Millions of ADHD patients may experience reduced therapeutic effects, potentially worsening symptoms like fatigue or concentration issues.
Stop with the damned drugs. Exercise, sleep, better diet, and if one insists on supplements, start with caffeine and large doses of creatine. The rest is something not ever prescribed: Discipline. Find out what causes the dysregulation through experimentation and notation and eliminate or regulate those things. As one who has the clinical symptoms hard, I found a career path where I can lean into some of these things, and meditation (walks where there is plenty of time to explore one's head) makes ADHD a super power. Bombshells about the Biden FBI’s Arctic Frost probe, which became special counsel Jack Smith’s 2020 election case against President Donald Trump, have so far not come from releases by federal law enforcement agencies, but whistleblower disclosures to Congress.
Federal law enforcement agencies aren't supposed to be doing press releases. They're supposed to be keeping their mouths shut and moving the cases forward. That this has not been the case for decades does not change that. Posted by: I used to have a different nic at November 13, 2025 07:52 AM (ExV1e) 31

One of Trump’s greatest strengths can also be a big weakness; namely, his transactional nature. The Bureaucrat Regulator Maintains stability but may resist change.
But they do not really build anything. The most highly destructive are the Aristocrats within an organization because they see themselves as masters of the universe. An example case was the American Can Company that pretty much had a monopoly and shaped the packaging industry. The success of the company (which began in 1901) innovated throughout the years but management in the 1970s started to see themselves as infallible in all industries and started acting like a hedge fund. The company no longer makes cans or any other packaging, sold out and the legacy lives on as Primerica (a division of Citigroup) Posted by: Unknown Drip Under Pressure at November 13, 2025 08:05 AM (a4flb) 61

If you go on a walking tour of major corporations, you will find a significant amount of people who lost their job to H1b visa applicants. Not only that, the process for training, and placing those applicants is largely rigged to create a money pipeline that’s rife with fraud. That’s demonstrably true.
We also don’t need 600,000 student visas for the Chinese. That’s another process where the application process is fixed and there are rampant fraudulent applications to make the students look more academically proficient then the are. It displaces a lot of American students who aspire to attend those universities. Trump is completely wrong on both of those issues. Posted by: Marcus T at November 13, 2025 08:05 AM (Ir53y) 63

There are several good strategic reasons for bolstering Al Shara’s’ position in Syria. First though - is he a “bad guy? Of course he is; but someone has to run Syria, and there are no good options available. The only slightly “good” thing is that he’s very weak and has to put all of his energy into holding the smoking remnants of Syria together.
Why support him? Consider what happens if he fails, or is killed. Syria slides into civil war, and with Russia gone that is a huge invitation to Erdogan to move in to “stabilize” things, especially when the Kurds get involved. (They will, they control eastern Syria) Long story short, that path ends with the Turkish Army on Israel’s northern border, and no one wants to see that. There are other reasons as well, but this is long enough. Posted by: Tom Servo at November 13, 2025 08:08 AM (GxM4+) 71

Corporate taxes - any American based company that hires all American citizen workers and which has none on entitlement benefits or Obamacare gets a 2% tax rate on overall revenue.
All others - add 5% per category (yes, I put 4 categories there). If all categories blown, add another 5%. Exceptions made for employees in their 1st 2 years, as long as the employee turnover rate is kept below a certain very low percentage (aka, you can't game it by hiring and firing every 2 years, but you still can hire some teens and college students). So, then you swing by Catholic/private high schools and the homeschool set and hire all the new 18 year olds and train them, b/c those kids know how to work,
Watching the world around me, I have an informal belief that if 2% of the population can innovate, your nation can be the leader of the world. It is sort of an extension of the 80/20 Pareto Principle. Your religiously trained home-school demographic is over-represented in today's 2%. One family I know has one son who wants to get into being an HVAC technician, the other wants to get his MD. Another family I know, their daughter recently achieved a doctorate in nursing, the other flew home last week from an ended Peace Corp assignment and has no plans though is highly educated. I hope to live long enough to see where these different paths lead, but if I were a betting man, I would put money on the HVAC tech and nurse as to who will succeed and live a prosperous and satisfying life. The US wants to do things in this country that have always been the domain of Southeast Asia: High tech pharmaceutical manufacturing and silicon manufacturing come to mind. The US has no domestic skills in making high tech stuff, we always farmed it out. We can bend sheet metal and assemble things, but don't have the ability to build ships or supply our own medications at scale. For that you need engineers. The US is filled with gold bricks with "Studies" degrees. There was a South Korean company that got in trouble with immigration laws because the only way to get a plant built in the US was to bring in the people who know how to build such plants. The US doesn't have that talent. Do we want to mine REM? Then we need to import people who know how to do it. True with every other mfr industry. Even if you agree with the substance of what he said, the way Trump said it in the Ingraham interview was... really bad. The US President should not denigrate the American People as a whole. Full stop. Clearly, that was an off the cuff reply but it SHOULD be walked back as quickly as possible, and I think the only reason it hasn't is because the opposition didn't understand that it was bad because of their twisted ideology and ignored it. I can only imagine if a tranny or a Mangione out there got their Irish up about those Democrats who voted with the GOP to end the shutdown
------ I'm certain this is a nagging concern for all Dems on every issue, at this point. They're in some of the more rarefied air of the Great American Shell Game, and they know the score. The monster babies were deliberately drugged, brainwashed and indoctrinated to kill by their Party. They know full well what they're capable of because they created them, and they certainly have been worried that they were losing control of their little monsters by 2014. But ten years in, one of them finally murdered a Democrat when that Walz aide capped up that broad and her husband in MN for voting wrong. That was a sign of the times, and I'm sure these people are looking at every fat queer with danger hair with a healthy dose of apprehension, now. The American university system is becoming increasingly dependent on foreign students
Its Mimetic Theory in action. In Asia, you have two billion person pool of a possible 1 or 2% who desire a future that is sustained by engineering and problem solving. In the US, we just want to terrorize Jews and shoot ICE agents, or alternatively twirk on TikTok while plundering the social services network. It doesn't help when news keeps coming out that for those who get engineering degrees, they will inevitably lose their jobs because of regulation, cheap foreign labor or ruthless MBA types who see R&D as nothing more than red ink. In Asia, its all up, in the US we are told its all down. Learn to Code has turned into the highest unemployment rate. (mostly because top talent went to start-ups like SpaceX while the cheap money has dried up). Most companies don't need innovation, they just need to keep their systems up to date and running. I can get low production people by the ship load to do that. I saw an article that was comparing the 9-9-6 Asian work ethic to the 4-day work week that the American "worker" is targeting. America doesn't want to work. Posted by: Unknown Drip Under Pressure at November 13, 2025 08:36 AM (a4flb) 138

H1B is out of control and needs to be either ended or massively reformed. Trump appears to have settled on massively reformed.
Posted by: I used to have a different nic ======== Good take on that issue. I do think part of the issue is that AI leadership is now being viewed as a strategic importance in China-US competition and that Trump does not want to rely solely on what crippled US universities turn out as graduates. During the Manhattan project and the Space Race, a substantial number of top technicians and scientists came from abroad because the talent in the US simply did not exist in the numbers needed. But we do not need H1B's for a lot of positions like Fakebook software 'engineers', etc. Right now, I think the administration is focusing like a laser on the economy because if it goes South, Trump's term will essentially be over if he loses Congress. And headwinds from the potential Scotus ruling on tariffs, AI investment bubble, a Fed Reserve filled with crooks and saboteurs, Congress with its crony donor issues, fighting the judicial branch and sanctuary states over deportations, and trying to roll back lawfare is a difficult tightrope to deal with. I am so sick of this "health care" BS. It isn't at all about health care, it's about money.
There is almost unlimited demand for healthcare. In a capitalist system people choose themselves to pay for what they want. The left claims to want a system though where anyone can get whatever health care they want for "free" or more correctly on the government dime. So then where does the government get the unlimited money to pay for this? And the answer is it cannot. The answer as we've seen in places like Canada or Europe is the government just restricts healthcare to keep costs down...unless you are politically connected. Posted by: Martini Farmer ======= Unless you assume Trump wants to be a dictator, you simply cannot chuck ruling class types in prison due to other hacks in black blocking what you try to do. The US Constitution was purposefully designed to make that sort of thing difficult requiring all these procedural barriers. For one reason, that is why cops relied so much on possession of drugs (and felons in possession of firearms). No intent needs to be established, no hostile witnesses to be corralled and cajoled, etc. Same with deportations of illegals in theory--they are here, not able to prove legal residence, they can be sent home without a jury trial. Things don't work that way for high level defendants. This is not an engineering problem but a system problem based on law and not able to be 'fixed' without protracted following of criminal procedures. Either because it's standard old turncoat GOPery, or because doing it isn't part of their strategy. "Throw everyone in jail" is not necessarily the correct victory condition to strive for. A jail is just a box with a lock on it that can just as easily be unlocked. A conviction is just words on paper that can be ignored or expunged. Neither necessarily and inevitably leads to the kind of cultural and social tectonic realignment that is necessary right now. If it doesn't serve the ends of unraveling the monstrosity of evil nonsense the Democrat party stands for, then it isn't the right play. What we need is galvanization and conversion on a civilizational scale if we're going to survive. Tossing some jerks in a cell isn't enough. Correct or incorrect, that is the best-faith take on "why don't they do all the things I want" I can think of. Posted by: Warai-otoko at November 13, 2025 08:48 AM (JwNbV) 181

Posted by: Bulg ====== Hispanics is such a broad term that it is virtually meaningless--Guatemalans are not Mexicans who are not Cubans, who are not Brazilians, etc. etc. One of the reasons that the Great Replacement theory failed is that Biden's and Dems great quasi socialism destroyed the very economy that a lot of the working Hispanics needed and relied upon. Same with legal Hispanics often disliking new illegals, often interlaced with internal resentments based on where the illegals came from from nationalistic rivalries. Most identity politics is a simple substitution of identity for economic classes under Marxism. And about as reliable as such an overly broad measure tends to be--it is held most prevalent among the 'talented tenth' of identity groups that use division to build their own empires to pillage. The problem with the provision of health care is that even when it is free, which it essentially is for the very poor, some part of the population will refuse to care enough for their bodies and then they use the most expensive possible care with great frequency. It's free, after all.
Inserting health insurance payers and more government money changes that not at all. Insurance companies like to point out that the uninsured population has been cut by a third since ObamaCare came in. That really means they persuaded people to buy their product, as long as it is subsidized by the government. And, since Congress designed the policy, it is a bloated, expensive policy too. Just set up Roth type health accounts, allow (or require) some savings into those accounts, tell HHS to approve company offerings of minimum cost policies appropriate for age (NOT, one size fits all as now) that citizens can buy with their Roth plans, and that's it. No government money at all. Posted by: Huck Follywood at November 13, 2025 08:52 AM (E0Rvm) 196

The liberal radio host that kissed Crockett's sneakers was on Hannity last night. Hannity, whatecer you think of him is a good host, and commented that they had been friends for 30 years and asked her about the incident, it was a nice intro and I was willing to hear her out.
Hannity mentioned that she was a 'comedienne' and he thought it was funny. Samantha responded saying he was the only one on the right that got the joke and everyone there was laughing. Fair enough. And I'm still willing to listen to her. And we move into minute 3 where Hannity asks about the shutdown and the stupid bitch changes the topic to Epstein files. And talking point after talking point. Hannity was willing to have an actual real discussion. But apparently you can't do that with those things. Canadian tv commercials and companies have been advertising Black Friday deals for over a week. Earlier this week, I thought Thanksgiving was today. In any event, for any of you with liberal relatives coming over later in the month that are like that, you have my sympathy. My favorite Indian moment...
My company was doing manufacturing in an Indian facility and decided they needed to know device to try to manufacture new products. The US based Project Manager set up a schedule and checkins to go from the device getting through customs up to it coming online. Everything went smoothly until it got to the point of the initial test runs where the Indian team kept reporting odd problems that made no sense. Eventually the project manager got suspicion and demanded they send him a picture of the room where the machine was supposed to be setup and...it wasn't there. See it had been stuck in customs for weeks and rather then honestly tell the people in the US this the people in India lied because they figured they'd get in trouble even though it wasn't there fault it was stuck in customs. That, amusingly, was because some US law said you can't bribe customs officials even if it is normal in the country you are working in... Posted by: 18-1 at November 13, 2025 08:55 AM (sKqQm) 212

186 The answer as we've seen in places like Canada or Europe is the government just restricts healthcare to keep costs down...unless you are politically connected.
Posted by: 18-1 It is a nasty fact of life that tradeoffs exist and they often suck in practice. You either have government aka politics rationing care or you can have the market do it on the basis to pay. We chose to combine the inefficiencies of socialism in part in medicine (Medicaid and Medicare) combined with the oligarchic horrors of 'big' medicine in hospital/providers/insurance/pharma blob. So you get a bit of rationing from socialism plus a dollop of rationing by cost while adding a truly massive overhead of subsidies that tend to benefit the blobs rather than the patients involved. The US Constitution was based on negative rights-aka freedom from which runs head on into today's ideas that one can have a constitutional 'right' to something that requires others to pay and provide it. Same mess with education. Posted by: whig at November 13, 2025 08:57 AM (WDjG6) 222

Barrett explains that
we judges don’t dispense justice solely as we see it; instead, we’re constrained by law adopted through the democratic process. … It’s a unique role created and defined by the Constitution. … In our system, a judge must abide by the rules set by the American people, both in the Constitution and legislation. … Frankly, that takes self-discipline. … My office doesn’t entitle me to align the legal system with my moral or policy views. … If I decide a case based on my judgment about what the law should be, I’m cheating. … As Justice Scalia rightly observed, “The judge who always likes the results he reaches is a bad judge.” … Just as it’s a problem when a judge likes all the results she reaches, so too is it a problem if the judge wants others to like the results that she reaches. Posted by: Warai-otoko It is inevitable when you have mass voting. DeTocqueville and the Founders were well away that general male suffrage would result in demand for more government spending to benefit themselves. And adding women as voters in the 20th century means even more spending demands. On the flip side, a limited franchise runs amuck itself in voting its economic and social group privileges denied to others. Madison had it right, "If men were angels, no government would be necessary." Since they aren't, no system of government works well when the people of a nation itself are not virtuous. I think we all recognize the H1B program has been widely abused and needs a major overhaul. I think trump does too which is why he's already talking about putting significant monetary charges on employers for every H1B they bring. Probably just an opening salvo.
But this is a real problem. There are lots of smart, well educated kids graduating with talents in a lot of disciplines. There is also this. Lots of this in just about every university and college in the country. Until that gets fixed we have a real problem with our homegrown talent pool. >>@sfmcguire79 · Nov 11 >>NEW: UC San Diego has released a new report documenting a “steep decline in the academic preparedness” of its freshmen. >>The number of entering students needing remedial math has exploded from 1/100 to 1/8. >>They’ve had to create a second remedial class covering elementary and middle school math skills in addition to the one covering gaps from high school. Smoking a Turkey with charcoal is an enormous amount of work, but always a hit when we did it for Thanksgiving. Best to brine and cook the breast and do something else with the legs and wings. Most importantly, giblet gravy. Posted by: Auspex at November 13, 2025 09:28 AM (Y8DZL) 342

Have at least 100 yards of open space and four fire extinguishers in close reach. What? I'm paranoid after seeing how bad things get with fried turkey. Posted by: NR Pax at November 13, 2025 09:28 AM (jjoN6) 345
Thanks folks for the prayers but say a prayer for all those afflicted with illness, job loss, family troubles, victims of crimes.
Lots of people hurting in society and the Lord hears all those appeals made by believers to lead us one by one to a better world. Ocean Spray Cranberries is actually a co-op of regional cranberry farmers in southeastern MA or at least that's how it started. Southeastern MA is littered with cranberry bogs and some make for really good walking trails. Posted by: JackStraw at November 13, 2025 09:28 AM (viF8m) 349

>>My daughter did NOT do good during the 'remote learning' portion of the lockdowns.
I think she's doing better with the odd class that's online in college, so she's figured it out. - - - - That's good to hear, Sponge. Mine, too, for the most part. For the older kids, it was missing out on certain social and 'path to adulthood' milestones, such as big parties/proms and getting a drivers license. I am guessing for some kids, they were stymied during a critical time for learning foundational concepts (~ 3rd grade?) with math, reading. If they were passed along to the next grades without really nailing these basics, it likely destroyed their ability to achieve as much going forward. I am sorry that what Fauci and co. did to our kids is now going to be used to justify discarding/displacing them with foreigners. Criminal! Posted by: Lizzy at November 13, 2025 09:29 AM (GbwPZ) 353

Have a fire extinguisher nearby... maybe several.
And a burn kit. Posted by: I used to have a different nic --- I am highly paranoid on that front, having experienced a family home burning down. Two fire extinguishers on each floor. Two in the garage. One under the grill (that one is the expensive halon replacement so it doesn't destroy the grill). The small spray-can ones they used to sell at Costco (maybe still do) in each closet. Fire blanket in the garage. I've only ever used the one for the grill, but that's just because I put off the grease cleaning for too long... Posted by: Don't blame the alligators at November 13, 2025 09:29 AM (1Nv0l) 355

So if I understand you right we should import Chinese communists instead of hiring our own communists?
Posted by: Its Go Time Donald ========= Experienced commies yutes from countries are actually less likely to believe the bullshit than our new born commies. That is one of the reasons that corruption is endemic in post communist countries--none of the people there believe in it much but are more than willing to use their elevated position on society to benefit from being in the ruling class.
Posted by: whig at November 13, 2025 08:39 AM (WDjG6) Agree . However since industrial strength election shenanigans continue largely unabated and with Trump not on the ballot to pull in the infrequent voter pool to beat the margin of cheating a cynic could say the Dems win either way : ie due to to a lack of perceived economic improvement or due to election manipulation. Trump can be-- must be -- laser focused both on the economy AND blocking through any and all means the worst of the election abuses. Policy only -- ie economic policy will not and cannot win the day on its own. Posted by: Beyond Norman Parameters at November 13, 2025 09:33 AM (FCPbW) 366
