The Morning Report — 11/11/25

Good morning kids. First of all and most importantly, today is Veterans Day. And so, for those of you who have worn the uniform and for those who continue to serve, my admiration for you all is beyond measure. Thank you for your service, dedication and sacrifices. God bless you all, and keep you safe.

Now on to the news. So the Schumer Shitshow Shakedown Shutdown is now officially over. I jumped the gun yesterday in declaring it over insofar as the vote that was held was merely the cloture vote to bring the official vote to the full Senate. And so it goes. Given the fact that the midterms are just about a year away, which of course is both an eternity and right around the corner in terms of politics. As I had stated yesterday, both the polling and the improving economy means this will not redound negatively on President Trump and the GOP, despite the full court press propaganda campaign by the media to make it otherwise. What this episode will do is further set the Democrats at each other's throats to see which faction comes out on top. The tyrannical commie criminals who fake being "Moderate" and the in-your-face full-on Communists who perceive that openly espousing the destruction of America as founded and Judeo/Christian Western civilization will attract legions of future voters and lead them from victory to victory. Yes it's a steel cage tag team match to the death between Beelzebub/12th Imam vs. Stalin/Mao Tse-Tung.

The fold likely reinforces the convictions held by many voters on the Left that Washington Democrats are giving them mere lip service and threatens Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) continued hold on his leadership position.

Meh, pass the popcorn and let them tear each other apart. That said, unfortunately for us normal human beings, there will be no Mutually Assured Destruction. Regardless of which faction comes out on top, their common trait of an unslakable thirst for absolute power while defecating on our mass grave, after squeezing every last drop of blood and treasure from our bodies means that the Democrat Left or whatever brand name it might change into will still remain.

So, whether Donald Trump and Charlie Kirk are/were both flashes in the pan, what they both have managed to achieve in a very short time has the potential to blossom into the complete undoing of the Leftist enterprise. Whether that comes about in our lifetimes or if at all remains to be seen.

But that said, the forces of darkness and evil and their instrumentality of destruction with its epicenter in the Democrat Party will not rest and will resort to greater and greater levels of violence to conquer us.

Today, we see familiar signs of foreign wars on our own streets: the normalization of political violence, the collapse of enforcement authority, the ideological capture of civil institutions, and the strategic demoralization of those still willing to stand post. These are no longer foreign indicators, but domestic realities. What we are seeing in the streets of Chicago and New York is not random violence; it is the very thing we swore an oath to protect against. It is insurgent in nature, symbolic in purpose, and deeply strategic in effect.
When Border Patrol agents are ambushed in an American city, it is not merely a crime; it is an assault on the institution charged with upholding the boundary of American citizenship.
Citizenship is more than paperwork. It is the covenant that binds a people; the shared rights, duties, and the consent to govern ourselves together. Without it, sovereignty is an empty word. . . We’ve reached a point where the narrative surrounding immigration enforcement has been fully inverted. Those upholding the law are portrayed as tyrants, aggressors, and racists, while those obstructing it are framed as defenders of freedom and justice. . .
. . . This Veterans Day, we must say the quiet part out loud: the war we fought abroad has come home. The difference is that we no longer call it war. We call it politics. We call it protest. We call it compassion. But we know the truth. We were trained to recognize insurgency, subversion, and the collapse of legitimate authority. We were trained to defend boundaries, not just lines on a map, but the moral and legal foundations of a free nation. That fight is now ours again.

At the height of the anti Vietnam War Protests that raged on streets and campuses across the country, culminating in the shooting at Kent State in May of 1970 the rallying cry of the Leftists was "Bring the War Home!" And here we are 55 years later and the war is at home. In many ways it is a civil war and fought not just with bullets, bricks, molotov cocktails and such but with subversion and treachery as was amply demonstrated by Clinton, Comey, Brennan et al who subverted the institutions and agencies that are there to keep us safe and free by turning them into heinous tools of oppression and repression made all the more uglier than the Gestapo, Stasi and KGB by virtue of the fact that they sprang from among us right here in the bastion and stronghold of freedom and liberty or what was supposed to be those. Considering we have not fired a literal volley back at the enemy, and certainly not committed any pre-emotive or unprovoked acts of violence on them, it's not much of a war is it. It's more of a simmering pogrom against us.

Again, happy and blessed Veterans Day to you all, and long live the cause of freedom - OUR CAUSE, Here and now in this hour! And may the terrible swift sword of justice and vengeance smite those who seek our destruction. Amen.

It was always home. The inherent malignancy of Islam notwithstanding, much of the nature of international political Islam was conceived in Langley, Virginia, probably initially as a weapon against the eternal enemy - Russia (or the USSR, as it was then).

The western ICs then pushed the globohomo agenda everywhere. Via propaganda where possible, and color revolutions where required. Until we can accept that we were the architects of all that has happened, we cannot properly address the fallout from our actions.

25 I'm going to spend the day with my dad, who spent 24 years in the AF, and a year in Vietnam. Hopefully politics will not come up as I am baffled by our widely different views on the PDT administration. I can only attribute it to a staunch belief in the infallibility of a status quo government, and the disbelief that anyone in the military would have anything less than the good of the nation at heart.

When management finally decided how they were gonna handle things - stupidly, as it turns out - I got scheduled for two hours of meetings every single workday until my last day. I've managed, so far, to get one of those meetings canceled.

The Indians are trained on the normal operations. Everyone is all concerned over them accomplishing the most impactful task my job entails even though it's also the most straightforward AND the process is extensively, one might say exhaustively, documented.

The effort has also gotten one group of Indians to light a fire under the behinds of another group of Indians to get a task completed which needed to be done a year ago so that group one can do less work.

All in all... it's going okay.

The limiting factor - the only way to get it to California is through trucks (no pipelines) and you just can’t do great volume that way. That’s how badly California has screwed itself.

Yeah. The closest I come to automatically seeing a movie just because someone is in it is Jason Statham. And that's just cuz you know that movie is gonna be dumb a violent and I enjoy those movies. I won't see it in the theater but I'll watch it eventually.

Don't care about celebrity endorsements either. Not products, not politicians, not issues. She's a young woman with an okay face - really pretty when she smiles and is animated - and big tits. Glad she might be on our side cuz we can always use more people but that's it.

Looks like Tucker was always just an actor harvesting faux “sincerity” to harvest clicks. Now he’s moving to be an apologist for Maduro, the Cartels, and Boko Haram of all things.

Great-grandpa fought in the Meuse-Argonne in 1918. We have his letters. There is one he started before the Armistice and added a postscript: "11-11. I am o.k."

He served in Fifth Infantry Division and later the Army of Occupation and didn't get home until September 1919, when he finally met his son.

My dad's dad served stateside doing training and guarding the Afrika Korps, while my other grandfather was a navigator on the transatlanic aerial supply routes. He said liberated Paris was something else.

Same, but the deployments and strain on the family were real enough, and longevity counts. It's not my fault I never got to see the elephant, and at one point was inoculated and packed to go join the Libya circus only to have my orders canceled.

I did get to drive nice rental cars in Germany a couple of times, which was fun.

I enjoyed most of my time in the service. I've struggled with depression for much of my life, but I was never depressed when I was in the Navy, even when I was personally under great stress.

Army Commendation. The state PAO put me in for it. My mission was to hijack some media coverage for deployed Michigan Guardsmen at Ramstein, including a photo op with Michigan State's team. Total success, the columnists mentioned the meeting, some photos ran, and the radio broadcast carried a shout-out the families whose members were serving. When I got back the colonel purred like six kittens and I made E7.

Ramstein PA didn't know what to make of me because I wasn't supposed to be there, but since I'd already done a deployment, I b.s'd my way into getting a workspace. Very much a Catch-22/MASH situation.

If he was Army (and Army Air Corp), his primary records may have been destroyed in a St Louis Records warehouse fire in the late 60's. Fold3 from ancestry dot com service has digitized a lot of those military records remaining and rebuilt some via other government records such as land grant applications etc (useful for way back when land grants for vets was common) along with Civil War pension records.

Navy and Marines have their own records which AFAIK are complete more or less.

Fold3 has also digitized a lot of things like basic training yearbooks etc. that are quasi official.

In some cases, if you know the theater he was in, you can also go to the National Archives for war related records such as unit histories, disciplinary records, etc., some of those records are online via digitizing but most require actually travel to the correct National Archives facility holding the documents.

Nope. Contact my unit. They don't have it. Contact Saint Louis. They don't have anything. Find out that I have to contact Quantico. And the building was on a skeleton crew due to a transformer blowing up.

Finally reach a person. Prepare to drive to Quantico and fax (Yes, fax) my requested record to the VA. But I had a government email and got the document with one hour to spare.

It was a total surprise. I tried to do it solo at first, and was getting nowhere, so I reached out to the state PAO (whom I knew well) and he agreed to help me on the condition that he was "mission critical." I said, sure, but my unit won't pay your travel. He was the one who got me in with Michigan State Athletic people whom he worked with for other veteran events.

I think the ARCOM was a CYA on his part because he was accused of taking a junket. Lots of drug deals on that trip.

I would guess that lawyers for the Blaze got a nasty gram from the woman's lawyer disputing the story and to avoid compounding any risk, Beck was told to stay schtum on repeating the name. We shall see if the woman tries to launch a defamation suit but that would open her up to a proctological exam over her own activities in discovery as truth is always a defense in defamation cases. People guilty of crimes rarely go beyond sending a lawyer's letter disputing the story in such cases.

I'm going to defend the guy. He was making a point - not incidentally a very different point than the Dumbocrats - and his actions had zero.effect regarding the shutdown.
At no point did his vote make the difference. There was no time when there were 7 D's voting for cloture and his vote would have made the difference. Maybe he would have continued his protest and you'd have something real to bitch about, but maybe he would have "made the difference". It's a road untravelled.

When we did a major upgrade at my comm location, I did about 20% of the physical work, and most of the paperwork and direct supervision, as well as a lot of little troubleshooting when the drawings didn't match reality.
I got an "attaboy" from the NCO, who, himself, received a Letter of Commendation. I didn't begrudge him that - he was a lifer and I was counting days to getting out.
The 1st L OIC, who did nothing, literally, except sign material reqs that either I or Sarge prepared, got the Army Commendation Medal.

398 I suspect one of the contributing factors to the rise in kidney disease is certain medications that have been increasingly prescribed. I know of a couple of heart meds that are rather hard on a person's kidneys and it seems that some heart patients tend to die of kidney failure before the heart failure takes them.
