New Jersey Polling Places Evacuated Due to Bomb Threats; Communist Jihadist Zohran Mamdani Blames... Trump
Republicans show up to vote on voting day. So left-wingers call in bomb threats, to stop us from voting.
The Blaze calls these hoax threats "swattings" -- and swattings have been a left-wing tactic for years.Some polling locations were targeted by bomb threats on Election Day, but officials said that no voting was disrupted because of the incidents. The New York Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation said they were investigating an "elaborate swatting attempt" at some New York City polling locations. County officials then said that the threats were all 'malicious, intimidation-driven acts intended to disrupt the democratic process.' Police sources said that "terroristic" threats were sent via email about the polling locations at Washington Heights, the West Village, and Midtown. At the same time, New Jersey police were responding to bomb threats in at least seven counties. New Jersey Lt. Gov. Tahesha Way also serves as the state's highest election official and said there were "no credible threats" and encouraged voters to resist intimidation. "We are doing everything in our power to protect voters and poll workers and coordinate closely with state, local and federal partners to ensure a smooth and safe election," she added. "We encourage every eligible voter to exercise their right to vote before 8:00 p.m. today." Polling sites in Bergen, Essex, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Passaic Counties all received the emailed bomb threat, according to N.J. Attorney General Matthew Platkin. "Law enforcement officers have responded at each affected polling place, and they have worked swiftly to secure these polling locations and ensure the safety of every voter," Platkin added in a statement. "Some of these polling locations have already reopened to the public. At others, voters will be directed to a nearby polling location to cast their ballot."Update: Trump fired back at the jihadist.
On Tuesday, as New Jerseyans went to cast their ballots, bomb threats forced voters out of multiple polling places. While the threats were found to be non-credible, they still caused a disruption to those looking to exercise their right to vote for the Garden State's next governor. When asked about the threats in his neighboring state, Mamdani made comments that raised eyebrows and rocked the West Wing. Mamdani called the threats "incredibly concerning" and said that he believed they were "an illustration of the attacks we're seeing on our democracy." "We have to understand this as part of the general approach the Trump administration has taken to trying to intimidate voters with baseless allegations of voter fraud as a means of trying to repress the voice of Americans across this country," Mamdani said.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Mamdani's remarks were "completely irresponsible" and not based in fact. "I think they are completely irresponsible, and they are based on zero evidence. And I think this is just another example of how the Democrat Party unfortunately stands for nothing. All they stand against is President Donald Trump. And I think it's quite sad to see that we have someone at the top of the ticket on an Election Day today saying such things about the president, when he obviously had absolutely nothing to do with those threats," Leavitt said in response to a question from Fox News' Jacqui Heinrich.

There are not 1, not 2 but 3 fucking bond measures on my ballot t this year. All of them for “the children”. They’ll all past with 70% easily. Last one passed with 80%. And then as always, when the next tax bill comes, these same jack offs will complain that the cost of living is too high and how can they afford such high property taxes?
Meanwhile teacher, cop and firefighter unions laugh all the way to the bank with their fat raises.

voting should be in precincts as small as possible. (Not too small or the privacy is a concern,) but small enough that the votes can be hand counted at end of night, recorded, and numbers only transmitted to public and up the chain to county and state to tally.
Democrats centralized voting to make it easier to control and cheat.

In my personal experience, Fen, moose limbs don't bother with deodorant. I once had to suffer a train ride from Paris to Salzburg with a couple who stank the place up. It was hideous. Later, at the nice hotel where we were staying, this same couple tried to get on the elevator with me. With provisionals, they just say who they claim to be and there is no way to check. Then, later, that name (and name only) is checked against ?? well sometimes rolls, sometime nothing. and then that vote is counted.
Provisional ballots are an open door to fraud.

They do.
The provisional is a different type of ballot though because it has to be checked after voting (and before counting) to make sure that person is legitimate.
A normal ballot is (theoretically) anonymous and has no identifiable information (even though a lot of states don't understand that.)
A provisional has to have two layers, like a mail-in. One to ID and check if person is on the rolls, (for example, they went to wrong precinct,...) and then the anonymous vote.

Given technology, and assuming no fraudulent intent, there is no reason not to send blank ballot sheets to each precinct, and print ballots up for each voter. That is what we do in my area. You put in the blank ballot sheet, vote, and it prints out your filled out ballot to review before you put it in the lockbox. Then, there is no excuse that "we ran out of ballots for one party".

My locality had a massive bond measure to demolish much of downtown to create a "walkable" downtown.

The security has to be once in lock box, and then counted. Counting could be done by hand, or with standard scanners that are open source and competitive so many companies can make and sell. This is all very simple stuff that the contractors hired by government made as complex as possible for revenue.

This is the issue. The roll book should be (must be) public, and must be locked down before voting with enough time that people can verify that it is legitimate. (by checking addresses, canvasing, knocking on doors.) This is why registration closes. But dems made it all electronic, and then went to same day registration. This makes it impossible for PUBLIC to verify.
Then on vote day, there should be representative of all major parties to verify that the voter is on roll book. That is one of the key purposes of parties. Without oversight the other side can and will cheat.
It is all very complicated and the country has lost our understanding of how a secure system operates.

The more everyone condemns any/all criticism if Israeli or Jewish issues as antisemitic conspiracy, the worse this will get, especially when they are flattening cities to the horizon.

The security has to be once in lock box, and then counted. Counting could be done by hand, or with standard scanners that are open source and competitive so many companies can make and sell. Much of the system in the blue machine areas is designed to automate it at this point. CO's mail-in ballots (that's all ballots, of course) show whether the ballot is registered Democrat or not through the cutouts in envelope, to make it easier to just discard or mangle them.
Chastened? No. If anything, they're probably more committed to retaining their strongholds at all costs. This doesn't matter in CA, CO, IL, MA, CT and a few others. It *shouldn't* matter in NJ, which is probably why they're going so hard.

Ugh. I've heard enough about Owens and Carlson and Fuentes. Let them run their mouths, and stop yammering about them. If anyone wants to debate these people, they are more than happy to engage. You can hear them all day doing that, and often simply talking to each other. It's never particularly well-spent time, but it's available.
If everyday people on the Right want to debate America's position vis-a-vis Israel, I'd suggest they should probably speak much more to/about people with a good faith anti-Israel position. There are many; Dave Smith and Steve Bannon both jump immediately to mind.
There is a *lot* of good faith anti-Israel sentiment on the rank-and-file Right these days. While it's fun to yammer on that Owens is a barking-mad lunatic, or that Tucker is a grifter, or that Fuentes is an overweight homosexual, the febrile paranoiac Jew-hater segment of the electorate who listens to their silly nonsense isn't really who needs to hear the opposing viewpoint. It's the people who listen to reasonable people.
That's who you need to convince - not single-issue anti-Jew people.

If an election is in an even year, Republicans sweep everything. Local elections however are in odd years. Turnout is abysmal like 25%. And the left wins every single fucking race.City council, school board, library board, mayor, janitor (ok I made that one up).
It’s easy. They get all the unions out to vote. Nobody else bothers. And the unions elect people who give them raises by increasing taxes. Rinse and repeat every 2 years. I do t get it and I’ve stopped trying to get it.
And no it’s not fraud. The county is Republican and they run elections. County seats weirdly are in even year elections.
