The ever elusive Charles Brown of Dildo fame is on assignment. So he claims.

I'll be honest with you Morons. The biggest Rant I have is with the USPS. And I really can't get into it anymore here on the World Wide Web without serious repercussions.

The Preamble of our US Constitution states:

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

When the authors drafted this magnificent document they attempted to conceive of every possible dilemma which a representative republic could face. The creation of three branches of government was brilliant. Checks and balances with justice and domestic tranquility as the ultimate goal.

I've written it here and discussed it on a Cut Jib Newsletter pod cast. The US is too big to survive. And the following is just one reason of hundreds perhaps thousands.

Although I am not a gambling man. I would wager $100 that the authors would have never guessed that state governments would sue the federal government when federal dollars are involved for federal programs.

A coalition of 21 states and Washington, D.C. filed a lawsuit Monday against the U.S. Department of Agriculture after the federal agency told states to turn over the detailed, personal information of food assistance applicants and their household members.
The USDA has told states they have until July 30 to turn over data about all applicants to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, over the last five years, including names, Social Security numbers, birth dates and addresses. Last week, the agency broadened the scope of information it is collecting to include other data points, including immigration status and information about household members.

The Federal government should have every right to see who is receiving any type of aid. The Judicial Branch should have tossed the suit immediately with the fancy term for "Go pound sand".

If California wants to take over funding from Uncle Sam to pay for their pipe dreams, fine.

~~Food stamps~~ SNAP was designed as a part of the safety net for needy Americans. It was not designed to be a magnet for illegal aliens who by definition are here illegally.

Federal funding for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) nutrition program and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also called food stamps, runs out on Saturday due to the government shutdown. The funding cut-off will hit illegal immigrants hard. The Center’s 2023 analysis of government survey data shows households headed by illegal immigrants make extensive use of the welfare system, particularly food assistance programs.
Among our prior findings:
Of households headed by illegal immigrants, CIS estimated that 59 percent use one or more welfare programs — cash, food assistance, Medicaid, or housing.
Illegal immigrant households have especially high use of food programs, with 48 percent enrolled in one or more of these programs — SNAP, WIC, or school lunch/breakfast.
In particular, our analysis found that 17 percent of illegal immigrant households used SNAP.

It's not a matter of If. But a matter of When.

Probably more importantly, they get counted for Congressional seats / EC votes. So they violate federal law in order to gain undeserved power over states which do not violate federal law.

It says household headed by illegals. But if they have an anchor baby or 4, the anchor babies are citizens and eligible for the Bennies. Or if they’re married to a citizen/ green card holder they may be the head of household but the spouse gets the Bennies.

I suspect that’s the majority of it. It sucks but there’s not much to be done short of changing the eligibility requirements which is never going to happen. You won’t get RINOs voting to make “poor children” ineligible for food stamps.

Good timing. I just returned from a journey to the local post office box, and found I was 15 minutes late for the daily pickup. Had I known, I wouldn't have bothered, but a check on the web reveals no info on pickup time. It's printed right on the box, but apparently transmitting that info to the web is a bridge too far.

The right of privacy (in PII, that the government already has) of people receiving money from the government (by voluntarily giving their PII ... to the government) supersedes the right of the Executive (particularly Trump) to know that PII.

My official residence is NJ so I voted there. The vibe I'm getting is that Shittarelli has this one. Whether he can keep it is a different story. I predict a close race than ends up in litigation.

I really hope we win this one. NJ gov has a lot of power and that odious Karen makes my skin crawl.

The polls in NYC have been mobbed with much more early voting than usual. That doesn't bode well for Bombdaddy. I suspect this will also be a close race that ends in litigation.

I'd rather have Cuomo over the goat-fucker, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter. NYC is run by big corporations and big donors, no matter who is mayor.

That was even true under Rudy. He succeeded in part because big corp wanted him to: they were long eyeing the incredibly valuable real estate in midtown (42ns street, etc) that was overrun by scumbags. Rudy cleaned it up; big business moved in.

Petain deliberately rotated men in and out of the lines at a good clip instead of leaving units there to get blasted to fragments like the Germans. So it's little wonder why a good portion of the French army was at Verdun.

Of course, it would have been better to have pulled back from there in the first place. Verdun was a salient and the French could have shortened their line at little cost.

Food stamps used to be a signifier that you needed government help to feed your family. It was supposed to be shame-inducing. No one getting a handout from Uncle Sucker has any shame.

If you go to grocer websites, and search for junk food, they'll all have an "eligible for SNAP" icon. I keep hearing that SNAP is only good for certain kinds of foods. It ain't that way in practice. It's used for junk and soda and sold for cash to buy booze and drugs.

3. Require that participants reapply again every three months to demonstrate continued qualification and need every three months to prove continued eligibility (which of course won't eliminate ALL fraud, but should reduce it significantly -- especially since it's being so abused by unqualified PARASITIC ILLEGAL ALIENS who have NO RIGHT to BE HERE!).

Maybe about 15 years ago or so, there was a fun online quiz that could predict where you likely were raised in the U.S. based on a series of multiple-choice questions on what names, terms, and phrases you used to describe things like "pop," "soda," "coke," etc.

It was pretty accurate in my case (Southern NV which was close to Southern CA) and my wife (down in Texas) -- and fun to take (there were phrases I'd never heard of like when it was raining when the sun was out was referred to in some locales as "The Devil's Beating His Wife").

I could probably try and find it, but have to go jump in the shower ...

So first off 42 million is recipients of snap. But that is adults who get it. Their kids aren’t counted as recipients. So the 42M is more like 80-100M when counting their kids.

And then on top of that if you count everyone who gets some direct payment from the govt, be it welfare, SS, Obamacare subsidies, paycheck, etc, the number is over 50%.

The warning from Ben Franklin has become reality.
