Schmock Schmoll: Ciattarelli Now Virtually Tied With Cheater and Grifter Mikie Sherrill for NJ Governor

Sherrill 49%, Ciattarelli 48%, 2% undecided.

And this is via a public poll, and those tend to skew Democrat by three or more points.

Democratic nominee Rep. Mikie Sherrill and Republican nominee Jack Ciattarelli are polling evenly in the New Jersey gubernatorial race ahead of Election Day on Tuesday.

According to an Emerson College Polling/PIX11/The Hill survey released on Thursday, 49% of likely voters support Sherrill, compared to Ciattarelli's 48%, with 2% undecided. With the margin of error at +/- 3 percentage points, the two candidates are essentially tied in the race.

When undecided voters were asked which candidate they are leaning toward, Sherrill received 50% support, while Ciattarelli remained at 48%, which is still within the margin of error.

The gubernatorial race was tied last month, as an Emerson College Polling/PIX11/The Hill survey in September showed both nominees tied at 43%, with 11% undecided.

In the last New Jersey governor's race, Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy beat Ciattarelli by 3 percentage points, and former Vice President Harris won the state last year by about 6 points.

...

Emerson College Polling Executive Director Spencer Kimball noted the significant gender gap in the polling.

"Heading into Election Day, the gender divide in the gubernatorial election has solidified: men break for Ciattarelli by 16 points, while women break for Sherrill by 18 points," Kimball said. "Since last month, Ciattarelli's lead among men increased by four points, and Sherill's lead among women grew by eight points."

In 2021, the polls understated Ciattarelli's support against the incumbent Democrat by 5.2%.

In more schmolling news: The public really doesn't care about "climate change."

Murphy did not beat Ciattarelli by 3 percentage points. Shitta won that election. Only the usual truckloads of sus ballots arriving through the back door after everyone was asleep put Murphy over the top.

I think Shitta wins this won by enough of a margin to beat the cheat. Or maybe I'm snorting too much hopeium.

"Voters who embrace 'masculinity norms'" is such a convoluted way to say misogynists. Saying misogynists don't like to vote for women is like saying water is wet.

Breaking news: misogynists, pedophiles and And self-loathing closeted homosexuals vote Republican.

Insecure males are still cucked by Trump and anything he endorses. What about Ciattarelli screams 'masculinity norms'. dudes a pharma oligarch, least relatable thing in the world.

Masculinity norms like elevating a guy with five kids across three wives, cheats notoriously, pays prostitutes, goes after married women, advocates and defends sexual assault, bankrolled by a guy with 14 kids across 6 women?

But the relationship dynamic has changed so much that a significant portion of liberal twats -- and assholic men -- decided that they no longer need to modulate to appeal to a mate, or they don't want a mate at all.

Kinda fascinating to pull apart, really. That's the mechanism for the garbage tier newsfaces, sure. The knob to twiddle is the Message, because that's what they (think they) have control over. But there's the tier above them, the actual ruling bodies of The Party, namely staffers, staff asses, and various NGO chairmutants, who understand that The Issue doesn't ever matter. The Issue can be whatever it needs to be. All that matters is maintaining power. Issue A ain't getting traction despite the newsfaces' best efforts at twiddling their little narrative knobs? Eff it, trot out Issue B. Even if Issue B is NOT( Issue A ), whatever, run it up the pole and see who salutes.

In a 2018 gun rights discussion, Duncanthrax quipped about "overly enthusiastic" firearm mods, blending technical knowledge with mockery of anti-gun arguments—showcasing a pro-2A stance with engineer-like precision.

During a 2017 thread roasting CNN's Acosta, they posted a snarky aside comparing him to a "Zork troll," tying back to their handle while amplifying the blog's anti-mainstream media bent.

This style contributes to AoSHQ's reputation as "smart but very very vulgar," as noted by observers of the blog's community.

Community Role and Influence
In AoSHQ's ecosystem, Duncanthrax represents the "geek-conservative" archetype: informed on tech/military topics, yet fully immersed in the site's rowdy camaraderie. They occasionally spark sub-threads with references that delight fellow "morons," fostering the blog's sense of insider belonging. While not a moderator or guest poster, their consistent presence since the Obama era underscores loyalty to Ace's unapologetic voice."

"Overview
JackStraw is a long-time, active commenter on Ace of Spades HQ (AoSHQ), a prominent conservative/libertarian political blog known for its irreverent humor, sharp cultural commentary, and "Moron Horde" community of readers. Active since at least the mid-2000s (based on archived posts), JackStraw exemplifies the blog's style: witty, sarcastic, and unapologetically right-leaning. The commenter uses a single-word handle ("JackStraw"), common on the site's Disqus-powered comment sections, and has no formal bio or profile visible on the blog itself—typical for pseudonymous AoSHQ participants who value anonymity while engaging in lively, often profane debates.

Activity and Engagement

Tenure: Comments date back to at least 2006, spanning topics from politics to pop culture. Recent activity as of October 2025 shows consistent participation, with posts on current events like election maps, media scandals, and holiday open threads.
Posting Frequency: High-volume contributor; appears in multiple threads per week. For example, in late October 2025, JackStraw commented on posts about U.S. Attorney firings, gas prices under Trump, and morning rants on media bias."

Admiral Ackbar appears to be a pseudonymous commenter who's been a fixture in the "Moot" (the site's affectionate term for its rowdy comment threads) for years. He's not one of the headliners like BEN ROETHLISBERGER...

Political Snark with a Trap-Spotting Edge...For instance, in threads on election fraud or Biden gaffes, he's dropped lines like: "It's a trap! The Dems are dangling this 'bipartisan' bait again

Off-Topic Detours and Banter: Like many Moosters, he veers into chit-chat—military history riffs (nodding to Ackbar's fleet-command roots), sports roasts, or tech gripes. A sample from a gun rights thread: "My AR's got more range than Ackbar's fleet at Endor. Who's buying the next round of 'traps' for the ATF?"

Overall, his stuff fits the site's unfiltered ethos: 60% takedown of libs/media, 30% intra-conservative jabs, 10% pure absurdity.

And there's good evidence in many places that during the Roman Warm Period, sea levels were actually a couple feet higher than today. Pevensey Castle on the southern coast of England, for example, started off as a Roman sea fort guarding an inlet to a widely used harbor at the time. Today the harbor is just farmland, and the high point the castle sits on, which was once next to the sea, is now over a mile inland.

Community Role: Background player in the Horde—reliable for chuckles, but not a thread-starter. Comments occasionally draw replies from vets like Ace himself or OregonMuse, fostering light banter. No moderation flags; embodies the site's "everyman conservative" archetype.

Personality and Themes

Core Traits: Witty observer with a chill, absorbent demeanor—takes in the news, wrings out humor. Anti-elite, pro-free speech, with a soft spot for underdog stories and '90s nostalgia.
Recurring Topics: Media mockery, election absurdity, pop culture parodies, light tech/gaming asides. Avoids heavy partisanship, opting for relatable laughs over fury.

239 Core Traits: Witty observer with a chill, absorbent demeanor—takes in the news, wrings out humor. Anti-elite, pro-free speech, with a soft spot for underdog stories and '90s nostalgia.
Recurring Topics: Media mockery, election absurdity, pop culture parodies, light tech/gaming asides. Avoids heavy partisanship, opting for relatable laughs over fury.
Why Notable?: In AoSHQ's rowdy comment ecosystem, Sponge represents the quiet Horde strength—subtle, memorable jabs that stick like sea foam. A reminder that not all voices roar; some just soak up the room.

This defines my area for off year elections. Right wing people just refuse to show up. So in an area that’s 60/40 Republican all local elected officials - city council, board of education, mayor - are Democrats. Turnout is like 20% for these races and the Dems win simply by showing up.

255 And there's good evidence in many places that during the Roman Warm Period, sea levels were actually a couple feet higher than today. Pevensey Castle on the southern coast of England, for example, started off as a Roman sea fort guarding an inlet to a widely used harbor at the time. Today the harbor is just farmland, and the high point the castle sits on, which was once next to the sea, is now over a mile inland.

Might want to look at land levels instead. silt infilling, land forms tilting can all happen. In the 500 AD or so period the area in the base of Normandy and Brittany suddenly had the ocean come in over a several day period and move in for miles. Not sure a clear reason s known.. But its where that abbey and town on a hill is that is isolated at high tide.

Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts disavowed the canceling of Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes, calling their attackers a “venomous coalition.”

He went on to say that "The Heritage Foundation didn't become the intellectual backbone of the conservative movement by cancelling our own people or policing the conscience of Christians, and we won't start doing that now."

Roberts urged conservatives to focus on fighting the left rather than attacking allies on the right. He also said, in relation to Israel, that conservatives should "feel no obligation to reflexively support any foreign government no matter how loud the pressure becomes from the globalist class or their mouthpieces in Washington."

" Competing narratives and potential agendas — why numbers are emphasized differently

Policy advocates, researchers, and media often emphasize different metrics depending on agenda: organizations focused on poverty and racial equity highlight disproportionate representation of Black and Hispanic households relative to population share, whereas summaries intended to show program reach may emphasize the fact that Whites are the largest single group numerically because Whites remain the largest racial group nationally"

Remember that Republicans helped Democrats in their quest to give illegals, groups here in protected status and the parents of legal immigrants access to SS, SSDI and a bunch of other federal programs.

The "broken windows" theory of policing was vindicated by Rudy Giuliani and the NYC police department (as well as various others across the United States). You might be thinking of a common criticism of the Keynesian "pump priming" justification for government expenditure, which is that breaking windows and replacing them doesn't actually generate productive economic activity, but that has zero relation to Giuliani.

377 There is teh "broken window fallacy" which posits that it would be a benefit to the economy and the glaziers in particular to break all the windows in town so they have to be replaced, and those who decide to brick up their windows completely to avoid the ongoing cost would be a boon to the candle sellers because all the buildings will be dark inside.
