Reasonably well drawn figure, maybe she's doing something cute, but no background. It's just lazy as shit. The red background here just makes this piece even more annoying. And why is she laughing? Voices in her head say something funny?

But I can imagine the glee with which Harlan Ellison would call him "mad Russian" to his face. He, Ellison, got along with Ingster on the MfU show; they wrangled over HE's scripts, as I'm sure most of his producers did, but respected each other. Ellison said he would barge into Boris's office and leap up and down on the couch to complain about Ingster's changes to his scripts.

Do people actually watch shorts? The way YouTube pushes them is what I would expect if YouTube loves them but nobody else does.

First, they put them at the top. Then they hide them among the actual content.

The format makes it impossible to have any content other than a talking head. I’ve seen only a couple because they’re so annoying, but any cooking show or movie show ends up unwatchable because the tall format of shorts cuts off what’s being talked about.

Back when TiFW was a wee Moronette, her father was spouting the evils of being out in the sun during peak hours, told us we would get skin cancer in the future, and would not let my sister or I go to the neighborhood pool (which was right across the street from our house) between the hours of 12 pm - 3 pm. He also required us to wear sunscreen, which in the late 60's-early 70's was nearly impossible to find, and contained PABA (which burned like heck when it got wet).

We were the laughingstock of our schools.

Years later, I was talking to one of my sister's HS friends, who is now a dermatologist, and he sort of laughed when we started talking about my dad. He said that every time he diagnosed someone with a squamous/basal cell carcinoma or skin cancer he would hear my dad's voice in the back of his head, solemnly intoning "the eeeevils of peak sun".

Turns out, the old man was right (about so many things) 😂😂😂

My thighs (and calves) have looked that way ever since I became an adult. Turns out, I have lipedema (no, really, it's a real condition). Can't get rid of them without liposuction and skin excision.

I'm not exactly sure what "ecru" is, except I know it's some kind of pale beige. My background in colors was from plastic model kit paints, and they had things like "wood tan" and "dark red." "Star Mist Blue" was one spray paint color I remember from Pactra for car models.
