After October 7 and the Anti-Jewish Violence and Harassment That Followed It, Biden's DOJ Rushed Into Action... to Defend Muslims Against "Backlash"

The Department of Justice (DOJ) moved to address anti-Muslim and anti-Arab biases in tandem with activist groups shortly after Hamas's Oct. 7, 2023, massacre in Israel ignited a wave of antisemitism, newly released documents show.

The Biden-Harris administration's top law enforcement engaged with "Muslim, Arab, Sikh, and South Asian communities," dubbed "MASSA" groups, in the weeks following the Islamic terrorist attack, according to internal communications obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. The DOJ's Civil Rights Division (CRD) under former Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke consulted MASSA groups to help counter "backlash" against their communities, comparing it to the aftermath of 9/11.


Former President Joe Biden's CRD "essentially functioned as an arm of leftist groups," American First Legal (AFL) President Gene Hamilton, whose organization acquired the documents through public records requests, told the DCNF.

"The Biden Department of Justice was singularly focused on advancing a radical, weaponized agenda instead of protecting the American people," Hamilton said.

The CRD planned a meeting in November 2023 with groups that included Muslim groups Emgage and Muslim Advocates, as well as the Sikh Coalition and United Sikhs, the records show. The meeting was slated to address problems plaguing "MASSA" communities such as "Hate Crimes Against Arabs And Others In the U.S. in Connection with" the Israel-Hamas war, "Asylum and Visa Delays" and "Profiling and Bias in Policing." Other listed topics pertained to alleged "doxxing" and "hate" directed at those advocating for Palestinians, especially on college campuses.

Another scheduled November 2023 meeting between DOJ officials was dubbed "Post-9/11 Backlash Huddle," an email shows.

Reports of antisemitic hate crimes reached an all-time high in 2023, according to the FBI. Anti-Jewish incidents accounted for a majority of hate crimes based on religion in 2023, while anti-Muslim and anti-Sikh cases comprised about 14% of them combined. Anti-Arab hate crimes made up less than half of racially-motivated incidents.


After an Islamic terrorist attack in the UK, the UK press went right into worrying about "the far right" using the attack as a justification for anti-Muslim backlash. They brought the Norm MacDonald joke to life, skipping right past mourning the victims of the Muslim attack to worry about hypothetical future Muslim victims.

And meanwhile: In the UK, it's now a hate crime to walk your dog in the presence of the Muslim Occupiers.

76 I remember reading so many historical fiction books for teens as a kid, like from the Victorian or Guilded age, and they all subconsciously showed how evil it was of mean old America to brainwash all the immigrants into giving up their native traditions or ethnic names and being "American" Like how the older sister who ignored her parent's cultural rules and changed her name and didn't speak her native language was really the bad one.

Now the left has taken that too far the other direction. You can't just love your old homeland while embracing American life anymore, you have to resist changing anything about yourself to fit into being American.

Also, I hated the movie's ending. It was building up to one of the kids or the gang leader dying, like the half French kid with a death wish, and yet no one died. They even have a literal chekov's gun and no one dies. The ending just peters out. Am I crazy for not loving the film? Is it one of those things you have to see in a seminal childhood moment, or it rings a little hollow? But all the performances were outstanding. Even Wil Wheaton was good, curse him, and I wanted to not like him since I have issues with the actor. And the themes are good. I just hated the wimpy ending.

What I see is a general economic breakdown, triggered by a collapse of the Electric Grid at a period of high demand. They are heavily dependent on electricity from France and Norway, I believe, and if for some reasons those fail the entire economic structure could fall apart quickly.

Much of the American Revolution can be understood as the Founders (who knew their history well) trying to repeat what Cromwell was able to do, while avoiding the errors that caused it all to collapse back into monarchy in a few years.

It certainly isn't what Guard leadership wants to be involved in. Politics aside, we have always been very trusted by the public, so anytime we appear to be in a position against citizens is something we try to avoid.

On the other hand, it will free up a bunch of Feds to go back to pursuing illegals, and protesters often don't want to fight Guardsmen as much, because they're generally more respected in the community, and many families have service members (fewer have cops), so it may help deescalate the violence.

I know, I just wanted more THERE there, if that makes sense. Like all the wheels were being set in motion, that they don't just see a dead body, they unwittingly go on an adventure that gets one of them killed and ends their innocent childhood forever. Like,the French kid gets shot in the scuffle or Ace gets shot. I have a feeling this would have hit home a lot harder when I was younger.

I adore the payoff of the sandlot, another growing up boy's tale. Absolutely adore it. It I grew up with that movie. It doesn't have the same satisfying ending.

I've also been watching a lot of horror lately, and maybe am looking for more dead bodies to show up than I should, even in a King story. And I also should have watched this before my distaste for King as a person turned into utter revulsion from his Twitter era. There's a lot of possibilities ruining it for me.

But like I said, stellar, stellar cast. It's fun to see the big names before they were big.
