Bill and Hillary Clinton were supposed to sit down with the House Oversight Committee and answer some long-overdue questions about their connections to Jeffrey Epstein. Funny thing, though -- they didn't show up.

And now nobody seems to know when they will.
Hillary was supposed to testify on Oct. 9. She skipped it. Bill was set to testify on Oct. 14. That got postponed, too. The committee says it's working with the Clintons' attorney to accommodate their schedules, which is a polite way of saying the power couple is stalling.
These depositions are part of a much larger inquiry into how the federal government fumbled the Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell cases. House Oversight Chairman James Comer issued subpoenas back in early August, demanding answers about potential lapses at the Justice Department.

Hamas is slaughtering Palestinians but the rule remains in place: No Jews, No News.

Hamas has carried out a mass execution in the streets of Gaza as part of a series of bloody reprisals following the withdrawal of Israeli forces from key urban areas.
Footage has emerged appearing to show around eight kneeling, blindfolded men, bearing signs of beatings, being shot dead in front of a crowd.
The Palestinian terror group, although still capable of inflicting casualties on the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), had largely been overwhelmed on the battlefield.
But since the IDF's withdrawal from Gaza's cities, under the framework of the Trump peace plan, Hamas has quickly reasserted its presence and is seeking to re-establish control.
This has involved targeting "clans", the non-Hamas-aligned family-based armed groups that gained strength during the later stages of the conflict.
The violent scenes will fuel fears disarming Hamas, the key next phase in Donald Trump's plan, will not be straightforward.

Trump is threatening Hamas to disarm or die, but I don't think they believe that threat.

President Trump warned Tuesday that Hamas will either follow through on its pledge to disarm under his 20-point Gaza peace plan or meet a violent end. "They're going to disarm because they said they were going to disarm--and if they don't, we will disarm them," Trump told reporters while hosting Argentine President Javier Milei at the White House. "They know I'm not playing games."
The president said Hamas had "misrepresented" how many bodies of deceased hostages it held after turning over just four on Monday. "If they don't disarm, we will disarm them--and it'll happen quickly and perhaps violently," he said before a Cabinet Room luncheon. Trump explained that he had conveyed the warning to Hamas through emissaries, adding, "They told me, 'Yes, sir, we're going to disarm.' They will disarm or we will disarm them. Got it?"

Obviously US troops aren't going in to Gaza, so I don't know what he's actually saying the punishment would be.

Update: What Trump probably means is just that if (WHEN) Hamas again refuses to honor the terms of the ceasefire, Trump will just give the go-ahead to the IDF to take out the trash.

Meanwhile, the antisemitic Hollywood Jew-hater club is boycotting "Israelis" to stop the "genocide." Now that the "genocide" has ended, you might think that the boycott would, logically, end.

What do you do when you demand a ceasefire -- and Donald Trump actually gets one? If you're a normal human being with a decent moral compass, you celebrate the freedom of 20 hostages, the pause in an armed conflict, and at least stop punishing one of the parties to the conflict.
Of course, if you demanded a ceasefire but really wanted something else, you have to recalculate your professed goals while still demanding capitulation. That's the position that 5,000 celebrities and other Hollywood elites face, now that the "ceasefire" failed to become "the destruction of Israel" and the death of the Joooos. The Hollywood Reporter checked in on the Tinseltown blacklist of Jewish filmmakers, and discovered that it will continue even with the ceasefire these blacklisters demanded:

Supporters say the boycott is a form of nonviolent protest and not discriminatory because it targets institutions, not individuals.

Film Workers for Palestine, at least, has no plans to stop its campaign. "We share in the relief of Palestinians in Gaza that Israel's relentless slaughter may be coming to an end," a FWP spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter, responding via email. "However, its genocide continues, since Israel has systematically destroyed the necessary conditions for sustaining life. Hospitals, basic services, water treatment and food production have been utterly decimated, which means the genocide will not end with a ceasefire, nor does this ceasefire bring about justice or accountability."
So what do they want? "From the river to the sea," clearly:

The boycott, the spokesperson added, "would only cease to be relevant once Israel's illegal occupation and apartheid in Palestine has been dismantled and the necessary conditions to sustain life have been restored, as required by international law."
In other words, they don't want a ceasefire. They want Hamas to conquer Israel.

Yes, when Muslims say they want "peace," they always mean the same thing: They want the "peace" that follows after the unbelievers are conquered and brought into the Dar-al-Islam, the "house of peace," the domination by Muslim warlords.

Meta (FaceBook) was only too happy to deactivate conservatives' accounts for spreading "election misinformation."

Meta has shut down a large Facebook group that was being used to dox and target U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Chicago, following intervention by the Justice Department. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the removal Tuesday on X, writing that "following outreach from the Department of Justice, Facebook removed a large group page that was being used to dox and target ICE agents in Chicago." Bondi added that the takedown was part of a broader effort to combat online movements that have incited violence against federal law enforcement.
A Meta spokesperson confirmed the removal to Breitbart News, saying the group was taken down for violating company policies against "coordinated harm." Meta's "Coordinating Harm" policy prohibits content that exposes the personal information or identities of individuals performing official duties, including law enforcement, military, or undercover agents. The policy specifically bars posts revealing an officer's name, photo, badge, or details of their operations, as well as any coordination of or threats involving "swatting" or similar harassment.

The Rutgers University professor who wrote The Anti-Fascist Handbook has fled the country.

A professor at Rutger's University in New Brunswick, New Jersey nicknamed "Dr. Antifa" has announced he is relocating to Europe after a student-led petition called for his firing and a series of threats targeted his home.
Mark Bray, an assistant teaching professor and author of "Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook," told students he would move his classes online "for safety reasons," according to Fox News.
"My situation has gotten worse recently," Bray wrote in an email. "I received another death threat and a separate threat that included my home address. The University and the authorities have been notified."
The decision follows a petition launched by the campus chapter of Turning Point USA, which called his employment "a threat to conservative students."
"We, the students of Rutgers University, are deeply concerned to learn that an outspoken, well-known antifa member, Dr. Mark Bray, is employed by the university," the petition begins.
"With the current trend of left-wing terrorism, having a prominent leader of the antifa movement on campus is a threat to conservative students on campus," the petition continues. "Dr. Bray has regularly referred to mainstream conservative figures such as Bill O'reilly [sic] as fascist while he calls for militant actions to be taken against these individuals."
According to his profile on the Rutgers website, Bray has previously taught classes on anti-fascism, anarchism, communism, and terrorism.
Bray's "Anti-Fascist Handbook" traces the global history of "anti-fascism" from its roots opposing Mussolini and Hitler to its alleged resurgence against the "alt-right."

His chosen area of Spain is a notoriously risky place to hang out for the politically motivated. Frankly I don't think he's got the stones for it.

IDF units had always held back for fear of harming the hostages or provoking Hamas into killing them. (I always thought that was bad policy, but they did it)
If they fire up the tanks again, there's no reason for them to hold back at all, and they massively outgun what's left of Hamas.

Also it could be interesting to ship a load of small arms in to the Palestinian clans that want to fight Hamas and give them drone support. A nice little civil war in Gaza has the advantage of killing a bunch of them off without risking any IDF troops at all.
