The Morning Report — 10/15/25

MOKirk.jpg

Good morning kids. And so with the ceasefire so-called "peace" agreement signed and delivered in Gaza, President Trump laid down the law.

President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that Hamas terrorists would lay down their weapons, or the United States would “disarm them.”

Speaking to reporters during a roundtable with Argentinian President Javier Milei at the White House, Trump said that Hamas has already promised to disarm, which was a major demand in the president’s 20-point peace plan. “They’re going to disarm because they said they were going to disarm,” Trump said. “And if they don’t disarm, we will disarm them.”

“How will you do that?” a reporter asked. “I don’t have to explain that to you, but if they don’t disarm, we will disarm them,” Trump reiterated. “They know I’m not playing games.”

With all due respect to the President, color me highly skeptical. Even if this ceasefire holds for any appreciable length of time, the problem isn't necessarily Hamas nor its caches of weapons. The issue was and always will be Islam. You can disarm Hamas and every other armed Muslim, unless and until you deprogram them and successive generations of Muslims from what the Koran tells them is their duty on this Earth — the death or submission of every infidel on Earth — then despite the blessed liberation of the innocents they held captive and abused for two years, All of this is destined to happen again, perhaps even worse than before.

As I've stated many times, I hold no illusions about Islam reforming itself but perhaps, this next item might hold out a kernel of hope, however subatomic it may be that even some segments of the much talked about Muslim/Arab street might be ripe for change.

With the U.S.-brokered ceasefire providing a breather, Hamas terrorists have crawled out of their tunnels and fanned out into the streets of Gaza —  massacring political rivals and opposing Arab clans to reestablish their reign of terror. It is worth noting that the massive Hamas tunnel network was exclusively for terrorist warfare, and not to shield a single Gaza civilian during the two-year-long war.

Despite the 5 times a day yammering of the Imams and even louder and harder on Fridays about how evil the Jews are, perhaps the truth of who really is the source of their misery as illustrated by this piece, might one day have the salutary effect of breaking through and raising some consciousnesses . Tribalism, xenophobia and hatred are unfortunately a part of human nature. In fits and starts we have somehow managed over the past 2,000 years to generally advance to a level where most people do believe or at the very least aspire to the goal of Live and Let Live. Of course, wars and revolutions and other base desires notwithstanding in that time have dragged us backwards, but the direction has nevertheless has always been towards the light of God and truth.

Evil persists as it always has and human nature being what it is, always will. We must always be on our guard to fight it as well as protect whatever sparks of humanity there are the crop up in the most unexpected place, to try and encourage them.

On that note, one of the brightest sparks here in this country who was taken from us all too soon by the very same sort of retrograde forces I mentioned above, was recognized for his service in advancing the cause of freedom.

President Donald Trump will award Charlie Kirk the Medal of Freedom today at 4 PM ET. You can watch the livestream below. Today would have been Charlie’s 32nd birthday.

Erika, Charlie’s widow, will attend the ceremony along with those associated with his organization Turning Point USA.

God bless Charlie Kirk's memory. We sure could use a whole lot more like him. And that said, Kirk came onto the sene during the dark days of the Obama years when we seemingly thought we had lost his generation to the insanity of Leftist/Socialist/progressivism and yet he came to the fore and inspired many young people to return to God and also to open their eyes and minds to the insanity all around us. And he along with others helped propel Donald Trump and the MAGA movement forward. That momentum I hope and pray is still with us.

Have a good day!

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

My guess is that in today's surveillance state, intelligence agencies know who the suppliers are, know the intermediary money sources, and can disrupt the supply chains by making it extremely difficult and costly to continue to support the Hamassholes.

The Department of War and the State Department do not need to rely on the utterly worthless DOJ to take down the financiers and other bad actors that need to be removed.

57 I agree it’s Islam that’s the root of the problem.
But that’s one big-ass root to pull out if the ground.

Is it even possible to remake a religion practiced by over a billion people that’s been around for well over a thousand years?

We can’t even get rid of Marxism and it’s not even hit 200 years old and keeps coming back from the dead every time we get a handle on it.

It took hundreds of years and quite a few wars to compkete a reformation of Christianity. And all that really boiled down to was schisms and removing the Catholic church as an extension of the state.

I’m not sure if Islam can be reformed in the same way anytime soon. It seems the thinking is to bring them some prosperity and maybe they’ll chill out a little as the best we can hope for in the short term.

82 Maine Democrat Party Chairman Charlie Dingman recently sent out a text message to supporters warning that if the voter ID law passes, Democrats would lose about 13,000 votes in Maine’s elections.

Total Registered Voters: 1,109,343

So Dems have about 1.3% illegals voters.

Harris securing 435,652 votes compared to Trump's 377,977 votes.

In this case the 50k vote diff between Trump and Kammie the illegal voters are close to 25% of the outcome.

I believe that Dems in most state have close to 5% of the votes hidden away in fake and illegal voters.

83 G'morning, News Addicts,

SnailRacer, if you're still here: I am impressed with what I'm reading about Fort Smith, as well as Van Buren (that was actually where my brother was born) and Barling, the suburbs. Hot summers, but there seems to be some fall come late October and November, unlike Da Swamp; some cold in the winter, with a little snow; affordable houses that are not all fixer-uppers.

Time for a new road trip, maybe. . . .

228 North Carolina’s two top Republicans will hold votes next week to try and redraw the state’s Congressional maps in order to save one Republican seat.

Serious question: What can be done about the Republicans cheating and doing this kind of crap? Does every single blue state need to redraw things to cut out all Republicans from blue states?

We won't be voting ourselves out of this mess. But nobody's ready for that conversation.

We just gotta hold our signs higher! That'll stop the guns!

Rational discussion and civil discourse are useless when one side has decided truth and facts don't matter, in favor of flat-out reality denial.

Blue states just need to be extremely aggressive about it, and force Supreme Court to ban gerrymandering completely, or face massive (Reddit admin team approved) backlash.

If you think the supreme court still has any legitimacy, you're insane. The only people who still trust them are the people who will trust them no matter what.

Republicans would follow a gerrymandering ban? In Ohio, they've been told to redraw the maps, but stalled and said it was too close to the election. They still haven't.

Trump quietly killing leftist programs and firing thousands (probably tens of thousands, if the court filing from the administration is to be believed) of federal bureaucrats is a good thing that I want to continue for weeks and months and outweighs any effort to get the shutdown to end.

250 The funny thing is, I don't think it's an electoral play that can work anywhere.
------
Nope. But there's a real thirst among the moderate Dem voters for a candidate who isn't one of these nightmare mutants who led them to disaster. His """Christianity""" is a cultural marker that even the atheists among those moderates like, because it signals normality, unlike danger hair and turbans and shit.

What moderate Dems haven't figured out - most never will - is that the Party has left them. It is fully captive to the barking mad demon spawn coalition, and a putative normie can't carry enough of the base to win anywhere - even in Texas. Those normies will have to bite the bullet and vote for an unseemly homunculus from Hell, or switch Parties. We know what most will choose.

That's...a big step. I understand the reticence.
--------
You have one side actively attacking the other. Threatening violence daily and, in many cases, acting on it.

If the current situation was developing under a Democrat administration we'd already be under martial law. Severely restrictive and punitive martial law.

I can understand an unwillingness to broach certain norms and institute crushing and restrictive policies on one's foes. But we're in something of a simmering civil war as it is, with one side actively involved in terrorizing the the other side.

Arresting recalcitrant judges is the least of our problems right now... IMO.

Today is oral arguments on ending the majority minority district requirement of the VRA at SCOTUS (Louisiana made it explicit that's what they were looking for when they filed).

There's a very, very solid chance that they rule it unconstitutional which could lead to Democrats losing 15-20 House seats when new maps get drawn around the nation to account for the change in requirement.

Expect...heated rhetoric directed at conservative jurists.

280 "Yonkers" most commonly refers to the city of Yonkers, New York, which was named after the Dutch title "Jonkheer" meaning "young gentleman" or "young nobleman". This title was given to Adriaen van der Donck, an early Dutch settler, and his land became known as "Donck's land" or "Yonkers" over time. The name is also an Americanized surname derived from this Dutch title.

302 I think I lost my Social Security card.
I can't find it.
I'll eventually need it at some point, especially when I have to renew the license and they make me go through the RealID routine.

So I go to the SS website.
It seems easy enough to get a replacement, you just have to confirm your identity, easy enough, right?

You have to first register at Login.gov.
Where they'll make you use your phone to take photos of your state DL/ID front & back, then take a selfie of yourself which uploads to the site.

The first thing you have to do is provide a phone number where they text you a link (keep this in mind for later) to your phone which opens up to the site which does all the uploads.
I did that, and after it failed the first few times, it finally went through. The site then directs you back to the PC where you did the original registration and now it has more questions to ask to finally confirm you are really you. It asks for your phone number again.

So I gave then the exact same number I used to do the ID/Selfie routine. And it comes back that that number can't be verified as mine.

Now I've got to go to the Post Office so they can verify I'm me.
