Overly online social media critics of Swift apparently instantaneously decided the new album is rife with racism and homophobia, as well as secret messages of support for the patriarchy, eugenics, and Donald Trump. Either Swift is a covert alt-right influencer, or her young critics have been taught to see oppression everywhere, including where it quite clearly is not. Every track on the album, which came out on Friday, has already been dissected for "offensive" content. Swift's track "Opalite" has been dubbed everything from "high-key a white supremacist anthem" to "lowkey [giving] homophobia" and a cryptic declaration that Swift is a "lily white queen." Swift endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris but didn't disavow her friend, who presumably is conservative. God forbid the singer demonstrate that you can be friends across party lines. What a terrible lesson! Meanwhile, "Ophelia," a song that gives the tragic Shakespeare character from "Hamlet" a revised happy ending, was dragged by critics for "reinforcing the patriarchy." One self-proclaimed English major on X said, "I refuse to listen to a song that implies Ophelia might've reconsidered killing herself if she had just dated a quarterback." She might have the degree, but her takeaway is just plain juvenile. In her song "Wishlist," Swift says she wants to have a couple kids and get "the whole block lookin' like you." No doubt. Expect more of it. Swift has done it twice, Beyonce once. The theaters made money. The singers made money. The fans enjoyed it. Everyone wins.
The theaters are going to salivate at these opportunities. Hollywood isn't putting butts in seats. If Taylor Swift or some other act will, the theaters will line up to distribute it. AMC is kind of the hill on this right now, but I can't imagine that Regal isn't desperately seeking similar deals.

Yep. We forget that theaters used to be multi purpose before cinema became big. Now we are overbuilt on cinemas given that the movie market is stagnant so using them for concerts makes excellent sense.

More than doable. But it will be an effort and the risks are much higher. There is a reason pregnancies that late are considered geriatric.
Most women can get pregnant in their mid 30s, but it's much, much less likely and the odds of birth defects go way up.
Having the kind of budget she has helps with that. She will probably get 1-2 kids if she wants them. More that, I'd bet against it.

Go long on small-package versions of perishables. These are becoming more common as manufacturers have figured it out, and it's a devastating indicator.
Look at the supermarket next time you go. Small sizes of mayonnaise, mustard, etc. There are really only two markets for smaller versions of these things:
1. The guy who keeps it in the fridge at work, because he doesn't need much for his sandwiches
2. People who live alone and don't go through a whole standard size jar before it goes bad, and are tired of throwing away wasted stuff.
Group #2 is a growth industry.

That is a good rule. I don't think I've ever been in group where women did that . My husband is terrific and just dealt with a plumbing problem when he came home which I couldn't fix. He makes me laugh and is great guy. 30 years plus.

I remember an article called "Freeze your eggs, not your career." The woman in the article had done that and of course it was a glowing tribute to modern day feminism about how she was going to have a Fulfilling Career™ and then settle down in her mid 30s to have a child.
The follow up was that her eggs were dead, no one wanted a mid-30s woman with career ambitions and she ended up adopting a child.

It's validation. With that validation, the screw-up is not undone, it is literally erased all the way back to the root. It wasn't a screw-up at all.
