After Years of Captivity by Big Pharma, the FDA Will Finally Test Whether Administering Multiple "Vaccines" At Once Is Actually Safe

The FDA just didn't have the resources to do tests to insure the safety of children. The government was too busy spending millions to determine if drag queens can reduce their stress levels through flamenco dancing lessons. A much much important question, I'm sure you agree.

This study seems to about adults getting multiple respiratory virus vaccines at once, but the study will presumably yield clues about whether injecting kids with 40-70 vaccines is dangerous.

Trump and his FDA will finally spend money and time to ask the minor question: Are we literally harming our children just to pad Big Pharma's profits?

Citing a "new evidenced based philosophy," the FDA's Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) is preparing to take a hard line against the common practice of administering certain respiratory virus vaccines at the same time.
The leadership at CBER--which oversees vaccines and other biologic products like cell and gene therapies at the FDA--will now require randomized, controlled trials in people eligible for multiple vaccines before drugmakers can promote coadministration of the shots or "some sequence of the vaccines," CBER Director Vinay Prasad, M.D., wrote in a memo posted on the FDA's website.

Apparently reading the writing on the wall, Pfizer last month sent a letter to healthcare providers warning that certain lots of its 2025-26 COVID vaccine "contain unapproved prescribing information inside the cartons."
That language related to "concomitant administration of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, bivalent with a respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine or with an RSV vaccine and an influenza vaccine in individuals 65 years of age and older," according to the letter, which the FDA has posted on its Comirnaty information page.
Pfizer did not provide a statement in response to Prasad's communications, though a company spokesperson directed Fierce toward its physician letter on the FDA's website.

In the memo, CBER's Prasad took issue with the fact that past company claims about concomitant vaccine administration were "made on the basis of small randomized studies showing non-inferior antibody titers." But the CBER is "unsure" whether those titers correspond to clinical protection and holds concerns that "such small trials are inherently incapable of adequately documenting safety signals," according to Prasad.
"The studies are simply too small to identify potential increases in adverse events, which Americans may wish to know," he wrote.
The Biden administration supported vaccine coadministration as a means to increase immunization rates, though Prasad has frequently criticized the practice, The Washington Post reported this week.

Who knows -- NASA might soon be spending money on actual space research instead of studying whether trannys experience any particular ill-effects in zero G.

The movie could have been a lot worse - it reminded me a bit of the GoG movies...but if you were to count it as one it would be the worst of the lot.

The guy playing superman was...ok. But Pratt in GoG is pretty darn good. Guy Gardiner was probably the best character in this superman movie and he was something like the 5th most important character...

Well, it's a problem I have with several of his movies (Guardians 2, Suicide Squad), so it's ultimately at his feet and how he writes.

However, the film did reportedly go through massive re-editing after early studio screenings didn't go well. It was supposedly a week-in-the-life of Superman film from the start, and it was editing, inelegantly, into a three-act structure over the course of a few months.

I would be really interested in seeing that original cut, because I think I would like it more.

The guy playing superman was...ok. But Pratt in GoG is pretty darn good. Guy Gardiner was probably the best character in this superman movie and he was something like the 5th most important character...

Movies are written three times (I've heard five).

On the page, on set, and in the editing room. (the extra two are when it's cast and when it's screened).

It's common to rearrange films in the edit. Moreso than I think people want to admit. It's sometimes obvious in things like costumes for those tuned into that sort of thing.

This has been common for most all movies for the last decade to not have a real script. On many of them the effects are done by an entirely different director. Lots of reshoots when the story falls apart, and then the effects people have to toss out much work and start over in a panic.

The people who knew how to make movies died out in the 2010s aside from a couple of people, and half of them are so angry when the audience liked the wrong person they sabotage their own property.

I actually blame Carl Sagan for some of that. He was, as best as I can recall, the first big pop-culture scientist. So, after he made his big splash with Cosmos, all of these other scientist wannabes tried to follow his shtick. So, we end up with guys like Tyson and Nye.

I honestly have no idea how good a scientist Sagan was, but he was a hell of a good presenter. And it was he who created the celebrity "scientist."

I find it very hard to believe the budget was under $200M. They can't make a movie about a guy sitting on the toilet without spending 200M. That being said, the FX did look cheap and dated, so who knows?

We'll see, but the early signs point to WB being pretty happy with Superman and the early stages of the new DCU.

re-watched the Reeve original to compare ... they're comparable? that one actually has a bit TOO much set up in the beginning, which I'd completely forgotten (or never saw, since I usually came in to movies on broadcast TV late)

the main difference is Hackman is better than Hoult, but Hoult was pretty good too. and I'm always excited to see Metamorpho and Hawk Girl

Usually for archaeology the site has been know for decades and they go to dig up the untouched parts to get more data and see how big it is.

WB has had one of the best years for a movie studio in a long time over the year and all of its releases. First studio to hit $4 billion worldwide in 2025. First studio ever to have 7 consecutive films make more than $40 million at the box office.

And critically, it was well received.

The DCU seems to have started decently well. The sequel to Superman, Man of Tomorrow, was greenlit shortly after the first film's release, and they're going to start production next year.

Glad to hear that. I enjoyed Superman. And I enjoyed a movie approach more like reading a comic book series. ie. We didn't have to re-chew through Supe's origin story at length.

So, a good start that should improve, though-

The Supergirl movie next year(?) storyline doesn't sound great and may be a dog. Buuuuut, it's got Spacecycle Joe or whatever the cosmic bounty-hunter guy's called, who is a fan fave, so who knows?

We'll see.

Yeah, seeing Metamorpho was great. He was a fave in my comic reading days.

That's another thing I like about the Gunn Era is that he's not afraid to go back and dig deep into the Silver Age.

Seeing Star was great in the Suicide Squad movie. He was a one issue villain for the Justice League waaaaaayback in the 60s Though I suppose someone might have brought him back at a later date.
