Willowed from the previous thread, Cowdemon posted:
Police officers truly believe that they should never be held accountable for their actions, that they should be worshiped by the public as they constantly spit in their faces. The police hold the public in sneering contempt. The public can and should return them the favor. 9th Circuit ruling would apply to OR too, right? In any case, I thought it was a basic ruling that directly addressed executive authority to use the NG (which is close to plenary, no?). At these highly organized, well-funded antifa riots are 4 groups: The antagonists/agitators at the front, the npc mob a little further, and in the mix are riotors wearing "PRESS" vests, who are, in fact videographers for livestreaming the riots. The fourth groups of rioters wear little gay green helmets. They are the supposed "Observers." They are associated with the the far-left NLG, the National Lawyers Guild. With these "lawyers" on the scene, the other rioters can receive on-the-spot legal advice after an altercation -- get their stories straight, collect false witnesses, etc. Posted by: Soothsayer at October 06, 2025 07:59 PM (n1EBp) 58

ICE: The first of the Portland Antifa ICE rioters has been federally convicted.
Trantifa militant Julie Winters, formerly Christopher Hudson, has pleaded guilty to felony intimidation of a federal officer and resisting arrest. Other serious charges were dropped as part of the plea deal. Winters tried attacking officers outside ICE with a large knife in June. When he was released from custody, he then violated his release conditions by returning to the area by ICE. He violently attacked officers who were tasked with re-arresting him. At a recent hearing in Portland, he screamed my name in the courtroom at one point, blaming me for his legal troubles. Terence K. Williams F'n pussies! Never drop charges! That famous line about Switzerland and the cuckoo clock versus Italy that was a really good one and there was some truth to it, though it wasn’t totally fair. As a student of the French language, you have to give the Swiss credit they speak French, but slower, just half a bit slower.. of course today both countries speak English so it is kind of just an academic exercise

I always thought that Youngkin was milk toast too many people in the conservative world have given him too much respect. The guy is not all that conservative. I know we don’t do this, but just taking politics aside for the moment just forgetting politics. I remember truckers in the 1980s and people kind of looked up to them. They were kind of the professionals who drove our highways. We had smoking in the bandit. We had the movie convoy, but you had a lot of Americans and these guys were drive rigs for 20 or 30 years.
I look at today I live in a town where there are a lot of distribution companies where truckers pick up goods and deliver them to nearby cities. You take politics aside when I see 18 wheelers in town now they’re worse than the kids with the be patient. I am a new driver stickers. These guys behind 18 wheelers simply cannot drive. You don’t even have to look at the politics. These guys are blocking the roads they are misjudging turns they are failing to use the gear so they have to try to along at 2 miles an hour for a mile or two to get back into gear. You don’t even have to look at the nightly news just open your eyes truckers today are nothing like they were in the 1980s and there’s a major reason for that. The first bird that talked back to a human must have blown the man's mind if he was sober and not drinking fermented fruit or berries. Then he told someone and they did not believe him. Right.
The sweet little boy comforting the scared puppy is going to be a good Daddy someday. There is nothing sweeter or sexier than a man holding a baby, boys. That was when I first considered the guy I later married might be the one, when he whistled like a bird and I was holding a 9mo old baby girl of a friend's. I think the baby thought there was a bird in his Grizzly Adams/ Jeremiah Johnson beard (which he hasn't had for a long time). She was mesmerized. And, yes, some thought he did look like Robert Redford...but he aged a whole lot better. I did not care that he was a broke college guy with a beat up car because we had a great time. I was hooked. It has gone from autumn to winter and will go back to autumn again. I love it! The kitty siblings I totally relate to. The brother closest to me in age and I fought battles over a certain place to sit and watch tv. Had an imaginary line drawn in the backseat not to cross. Our baby brothers never shared this joy with us.
We had combat til he was in junior high and got stronger than me. I was in a headlock and he said he could kill me but did not, and we felt this was normal behavior over the remote control. He won the war that day. When Hurricane Camille hit the MS coast,we were 120mi inland and hurricane force winds with tornadoes. The house would creak and we had no power. I'd ask, "Is that a tornado?" No. This went on for awhile as his bedroom was next to mine. He finally said his last no, but added, "It is not a tornado but if you ask me again I will come in there and kill you so you won't have to worry about it." I miss him. Funniest guy on earth. The letters he wrote me in college I cherish and still laugh out loud. Nutcase. This question will surely bring on the ONT and I need to go to bed, but it's bugging me.
I sadly saw a strange youtube from chy na, of course. These guys were apparently raising? harvesting? cockroaches and washed them. Then baked in the sun. Then pulverized and it was implied they were protein powder. I am positive I did not dream this, and had heard of looking at labels for "chitin." Not to be confused with chitlins, which I would also not eat. WTH? Posted by: ChristyBlinkyTheGreat at October 06, 2025 10:30 PM (6PCLE) Posted by: Oddbob at October 06, 2025 10:30 PM (3nLb4) 467

Pray for 60 Minutes. It is the most indispensable news entity we have and it is about to be overseen by someone who thinks we need to give equal weight to people who argue that the earth is flat and to people who argue that the earth is round. - I dispensed with 60 Minutes decades ago and I feel fine.
