These moments are not anecdotal. Two recent reports have shown a dramatic shift among young people and their relationship with their faith. First, the Pew Research Center released a report showing that the decades-long decline in Americans identifying as Christian leveled off, followed by a survey done by the Barna Group that showed that downward trend is now in full reverse.
And who is driving the return to church? These reports show the rise in faith is being driven by those in their 20s and 30s.
"Since the pandemic Millennials and Gen Z have shown significant increases in commitment to Jesus," the Barna Group study reads, "while Boomers and Gen X, especially women, have remained flat in their commitment levels to Jesus."
Last Thursday, a remarkable moment happened on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh when 600 college students showed up for a first-ever "Pitt for Jesus" event. There, it was clear we are in the midst of a revival.
The event featured nearly 100 baptisms, live worship music, prayer, testimonies by athletes and a spiritual awakening among young people that was profound to experience.

The Supreme Court -- led by the liberals Roberts and Coney-Barrett, I'm sure -- rejects Trump's appeal and says that Lisa Cook can remain a Fed Bank Governor, despite her serial mortgage fraud on the federal banks themselves.

Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook will keep her position while the Supreme Court considers arguments over the president's authority to fire her amid allegations of mortgage fraud.
The court agreed to hear the issue on an expedited basis, Politico reported.

"Expedited" means that they'll hear arguments in January, and who knows how many months will pass before they issue a decision.

The Comey prosecution will focus on his authorization of the "friend" he hired to be his personal leaker to leak confidential files to the media, and his subsequent lie to Congress that he didn't authorize confidential leaks.

Fired FBI Director James Comey has been indicted for purportedly lying to Congress when he denied authorizing FBI leaks to the media. In fact, multiple sources told Just the News that Comey authorized his personal advisor and friend Daniel Richman to leak to the press.
Richman, a former DOJ official and current Professor of Law at Columbia University Law School, was a Special Government Employee (SGE) at the FBI during the 2016 election, and it is already public knowledge that Richman later assisted Comey with leaking the so-called "Comey Memos" to the New York Times in 2017 after Comey's firing by President Donald Trump. Motivating the leak was Comey's desire to prompt the appointment of a special counsel to carry on the bureau's Trump-Russia investigation, which proved to be baseless. Comey has described Richman as a "friend" to investigators, and Richman also went on to be Comey's personal attorney.
The indictment against Comey came two weeks after Richman was subpoenaed as part of a criminal probe, according to ABC News.

Elements of the indictment and unnamed "persons"
The indictment sought by the Trump Justice Department and approved by a grand jury last week stems from allegations that Comey misled the Senate during his testimony in late September 2020, when he reiterated his May 2017 denial that he had ever authorized an FBI leak of information to the media about the Trump-Russia investigation or Clinton-related investigations. The indictment also alleged that Comey had obstructed Congress by lying to the Senate.
"On or about September 30, 2020, in the Eastern District of Virginia, the defendant, JAMES B. COMEY JR., did willfully and knowingly make a materially false, fictitious, and fraudulent statement in a matter within the jurisdiction of the legislative branch of the Government of the United Stales, by falsely stating to a U.S. Senator during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing that he, JAMES B. COMEY JR., had not 'authorized someone else at the FBI to be an anonymous source in news reports' regarding an FBI investigation concerning PERSON 1," the indictment states.
Sources familiar with the matter confirmed that "Person 1" is Hillary Clinton. The sources declined to be named due to the sensitive nature of the investigation.
The indictment goes on to say that Comey's leak authorization denial "was false, because, as JAMES B. COMEY JR. then and there knew, he in fact had authorized PERSON 3 to serve as an anonymous source in news reports regarding an FBI investigation concerning PERSON 1."
The allegation that "Person 3" is Richman comes after multiple news articles had apparently suggested that the person in question whom Comey had allegedly authorized to leak had been former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe. The sources familiar with the matter stated that "Person 3" is Richman.

Comey also claimed that he "couldn't recall" whether he had been briefed on the fact that the entire RussiaGate hoax he was determined to use FBI resources to "investigate" was in fact a fabrication of Hillary Clinton. He didn't want to admit that he was told that Hillary Clinton was behind all this -- which would compel him to end the investigation -- so unbelievably claimed he just couldn't remember if he'd ever been briefed on this fact.

The teacher who forced students to participate in ghost-face masked "Scream" orgies is hit by nearly 50 charges of sexual assault on minors.

A disgraced Indiana teacher accused of forcing teenagers as young as 13 to wear "Scream" masks while having group sex with her now faces nearly 50 criminal charges after another accuser came forward.
Brittany Fortinberry, 32, was hit with six additional counts of sexual misconduct with a minor, dissemination of material harmful to minors and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to court documents obtained by WTHR.
The accuser came forward in early September -- long after the teacher had been arrested and accused by others -- saying he was previously too scared to speak out, newly released documents revealed.

He claimed Fortinberry would invite him to her house to hang out and do drugs, and that she would compliment his appearance and strength while he did chores for her.
Eventually, Fortinberry started touching him more, culminating in them allegedly having sex in her garage, according to the docs. It was not clear how old the boy was at the time.

That same night, the boy claimed he slept in Fortinberry's kids' room, while the teacher went to bed with her husband, according to court documents.
He alleged that Fortinberry plied him with drugs and gifts, but claimed he stopped going to her house after he realized she was having sex with other teens.

Several teenagers in the area knew about Fortinberry allegedly supplying minors with drugs and sexually preying on children, according to the victim.
"She just handed it out to anybody," he told investigators, according to court documents seen by Fox 59.
The divorced educator now faces a total of 47 charges, including 15 counts of child molestation and 14 counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.
Fortinberry's life imploded in August 2024 after the grandmother of one of her alleged victims told police the teacher molested the boy when he was 15 years old.
The grandmother also claimed Fortinberry sent the boy nude pictures and gave him drugs, along with graphic messages allegedly threatening to kill herself if he told anyone about the abuse.

There is too much "reliance" on the emotional experience of (water) "baptism. imo, the real salvation is more like "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

One did baptize with water in Acts, it was more continuation of old tradition than "requirement". imo real "salvation" requires a deep dive (by God) forensic exam of The Heart, and those so proud of "I saved seven souls this week" are far afield from the true intent.

But then again, my ideas are unique from most Traditional Religions. (and I think "traditions" are mostly wrong.)

And lastly, Resurrection of The Just must be separate from (not just Res of unjust) the New (spiritual) rebirth of the "children of God". fwiw

My experience as a 15 year old in a school full of schoolboys is that we all thought the teachers were old hags and barely noticed them. Now, girls on the other hand, tend to look really good in their later teens and 20s, not as gawky and awkward and pimply. And they are starting to feel their oats, guys are noticing them and they are learning to play off that even if they aren't quite sure what they are doing or the consequences of it.

It cannot be easy (carefully wording here) for teachers to deal with the girls in class who decide it will be funny to flirt with Mr Crager day after day. I suspect that for some teachers, it cannot be easy to remind yourself that this is not just wrong, its nasty and damaging not just for the girls but your career and freedom.

And for some, its a battle they don't even bother fighting.

As crazy as it sounds, I have a LITTLE sympathy for the weapon unattended bit, potentially. When people carry tons of weapons around constantly, have to change, move around, etc...it happens. You still have to punish it if it's public or major, but sometimes an ass chewing is enough.

Falling asleep on duty, however, especially when guarding the president, is inexcusable.
